Noah's literally gone from "we've NEVER fished this spot before guys, it's gonna be exciting" in the first 30 seconds of a video to "Yeah we were Slammin it here a few weeks ago doin that challenge video huh Cody?!" about a minute later into the same video at the same spot... His consistency & size ratio gauge isn't the greatest but he's entertaining & good at what he does. Damn good.

Yea I moved to eastern NC a year ago and found a community with ponds that only a few people fish. I have been also on the local rivers where I caught a 6.2 lber recently. I have seen lots of private ponds but I looked and saw nothing public pay.

They’re a lot of farm ponds near my house but people disrespected the ponds with litter and didn’t catch and release so they had no other choice but to put up no trespassing signs up.

For $25 the entire lake should have been mowed so you didn't have to walk through snake infested weeds. Either way was fun for the experience. Probably rock out the kayak if you ever go back. GL

I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ru-vid.comUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.
