Don't you just love how quick and efficient the check in + CIQ process in SIN Changi? The bad part of it, is that you get too used to it and start complaining when ur at other airports.
Flight information vlogs are fine with me. I watch them often to checkout business class service on specific airlines. SIN the airport symbol for Singapore is cool and it is very interesting. Enjoyed the vlog thanks.

What luggage do you use btw? I took my luggage out of storage for my parents to use(which I hadn't used since pre-Covid 😄), and both carry handles broke off when the suitcase was packed 😡😡😡 Dry rot apparently. So annoyed.

I'm travelling syd-auk return economy qantas points. Now that doesn't sound that crazy, but given I was staring down $700 return tickets in this economy while paying down a mortgage, using 30k points was worth it.
have fun in singapore! I might just add that the coffee I was referring to are the ones you'd get at a coffee shop, like Starbucks etc. but they have local coffees at say, hawker centres that are a lot more affordable
Wow! Didn’t realise Qantas still flew the old Business class cabins on their A380! What a disappointment if you’re booked on those flights, and with the kind of prices they’re charging these days! 😓
That flippy thing on the business seat is magazine holder though most of the time those holes are empty now MacDonald's definitely better price gauge than coffee, coffee varies shop to shop and is less standardised in terms of beans/milk/size also that's a lot of eggs/bacon meals. its the standard lounge breakfast option
The Singapore Qantas lounge is quite good. Not as good as the Hong Kong Qantas lounge. However, if you get the chance again in Singapore, you can lounge surf and try the British Airways and Emirates ones. Both very good with the real champagne in Emirates making that the best for me, even when flying Qantas. I will be there in 6 weeks.
having just done 8.5hrs between sydney and manila twice in the last month, those business class seats would have been amazing rather than trying to sleep in economy. my go to method is drink a few whiskys to put me to sleep, which is far more affordable than the business class ticket.

A belated happy birthday to your grandma, she does not look 90 just amazing what's her secret. The A380 is a super plane to fly in although never business class , it was a flight to Perth Australia. Always interesting and informative and entertaining
Don't have a bank account that offers points. Not sure how many accounts here in UK that offers credit cards with points. To be fair only use the card when booking my big holiday for insurance reasons, but I don't make regular transactions on it. Just a thought, but how come you had to collect your bag at Melbourne and it not just transferred on the Sydney flight?

Qantas A380 business class is really dated, modern business class every seat has direct aisle access and petition, that’s why they will have to get rid of these A380s, too old and too expensive to run.
Congratulations to your grandma. A bit unfortunate that you got the only non refurbished a380 qantas is flying. Every other long haul qantas plane is now flying 1/2/1 configuration in business.
