Like how you covered the build, from start to finish, admittingly, I gasped at the chev small block in a Mopar. The car looks amazing, and your attention to details, tells me I have to step up my game. In 1980, I was 13, my dad gave me a 57 D-100. His old shop truck parked in a cow pasture, since the late 60's. For reference, it was an ex Saskatchewan DNR truck, then farm truck, and then his shop truck. His intention was, I had to build it if I wanted to drive, so I'd learn to respect vehicles, blood, sweat and tears. That thing was rough, completely tore it down, stripped off all the paint, bought a "69 Fury for drive train. That's where we went over board, graphited front subframe, for IFS, rewelded spring pads to mount 8 3/4 diff. Cut out 3/4 of the fire wall, didn't expect the engine set back with the front clip. Even though my father is gone, I still own, the '57. I learned so much from him, over the years, currently blowing the truck apart again, just to refresh all the years I abused it. I guess call it a tribute build.

Awesome! To chop off the lower rust was brilliant and really turned lemons into the best hightest quality lemonaid you can get, and the exhaust through the fat fenders and modding the door was again brilliant. I think the wheels are good. Thanks for the inspiration, so many of my projects never get this far.

That is one very nice ride brother. I like the small details you add into the build and that is what people see when they look at it because if two friends are looking at it during the same time, they will both see thibgs the other will m8ss then when they talk about it, they have to go back and see it again. That's the tell that tells you that you designed a masterpiece called Art. Very nice, and the sound of the headers are perfect on it. I noticed earlier the doors went up like a wing then you changed them to normal doors. I like how it ended up. Great job. This came out great. You do quality work. It looks somewhat similar to a Citroen Traction Avant. Very cool.

European here (Austria) and it definitely has a prewar French vibe to it, it could have easily come from any of the old coach builders like Figoni & Falaschi. Changing the wheels when funds allow is a no-brainer. I'd have gone for a Mopar engine but get it when one has to stick to a budget and the SBC you already had, so...

I love how you designed the body cause it's not just a car, it's a masterpiece with a unique style..I'm loving it cause you kept the fenders on it with a whole complete different way of doing each and every inch of the body..Beautiful ride and it's amazing to see how it's all fell in place with your own design..It's a solid looking car and it's not flimsy looking like some car builders has built..Getting to drive the finished product is the best part of it cause I'm sure you have spent hours days and years getn it to where it's at today..A complete turnkey ready to drive anywhere anyday automobile that's most definitely one of a kind..That's your creation and that's the best part of building em from the ground up..

Absolutely baaaadddaaaasss build! I think it looks perfect with those Lexus wheels, but I'd suggest making custom center caps in a color match to the body. 🤔

First thought was the look old VW kits went for but you made the real thing without a kit.

I love the car the wheels look great just take the lexus emblem off remove the paint and polish them. One idea that might work for you or change the color of the wheel with a polished edge. Thoughts!

I like it! Tasteful mix of old and new with a lot of the old style intact. The body drop and raising the fenders worked out great! That really emphasizes the art deco shapes. I agree about the wheels but those will work for now. Nice work! 👍

It is an unusual design, but it works. That thing has a wicked look that really clicks. The color works on this body and looks GOOD... Being from Southern Oklahoma, I tend to stay away from dark colors. I would have liked to see this body in metallic pewter with metallic charcoal fenders, subdued, sedate and menacing at the same time. Great job...it should bring in a lot of business. The headlights and exhaust design are just over the top. Fantastic car...you done good...

Very cool car. Sectioned with out being sectioned in the middle. I think the lights front and rear are spot on. Not sure on the third brake lights. I think an in-line six with lots of boost would of been different. Your very talented. And I’d think the car should be a keeper. I no the money is nice to do other things but it’s your first car.
