I Paid $50 For All These Fireworks - Aces High Assortment 

Cody, I love the idea of you designing a fireworks assortment. Maybe work with Starr fireworks, red apple, or any other brand that you have a good relationship with to test the waters and get feedback. Also, if this does become a widespread product, making a demo video and putting a QR code to the video would be cool.

Ya know what I agree about the smell. It’s very important for me. Love the smell when walking into a firework store , reminds me of my youth.

I love how passionate Cody is with the trickery. The cost cutting needs to stop I understand firework prices are rising but common the quality should be getting better over the years not worse.

This is one reason we love you so much; you let us know when we're about to be scammed! I'll be 74 on Thursday, and the sparklers we had, when I was a kid, lasted three times as long, and *always* had metal stems! Frankly, the whole assortment was pretty much a dud, but you're too nice to say so. Thanks for keeping us informed!!✨🌠

The other thing you need to get made is 10 or 12 shot large caliber Roman candles with reports, so hard to find and awesome for opening a show!

Those fountains are the same over here in the UK too, a small tube in a box or cylinder, we use the term "Puffery" which just means full of air and no explosive content!, when fireworks were made over here we had proper fountains that were full of powder.

Yes Cody this 64 year young Aussie agree the fountains should be either full of tubes or the small tubes that you push into a bucket of sand that we used to do back in the 1960s we didn't have Saturn missels or cakes back then the Roman candles haven't changed, the rockets are about the same. 👍😏😉

You should get a bunch of pop pops and make one big one. Like, the size of a basketball!

One thing i like to do with ground bloom flowers is to throw them in the air and time it with the fuse to get them to go off in the air, it’s cool to watch them spin around in the air

I'd say it's right at $50 retail for all the pieces. No discount for a bundle or savings among the items. Just convenience of grab and go. I know I've been curious on what it would take to create a Firework brand and team up with some manufacturers on Alibaba and create some assortments myself. It's not really about just getting the cheapest thing out there, but trying to get a better quality assortment that has a better duration and value. The sparklers are a great example of slipping performance as they don't last a couple minutes but zip through the whole length in a fraction of the time they used to.

I wonder if there's a regulation that says there must be a certain amount of surface area for the fountain in order to be sure its stable when lit and won't fall over. Still gotta be better ways to make things stable and not consume sooo much space, especially at the cost of shipping today.

I've got a not so popular opinion because people have a lot of love for these assortments that I think is born from when we all got started in pyro and harkens them back to those days.. but the reality is is that most assortments are just not worth the money even if they have good stuff inevitably they short you somewhere, they use it to get rid of excess stock that doesn't sell on its own...the only assortments I like are when buying cases for example brothers has a 12 pack of assorted 200 Grammer's those and the cake assortments are usually pretty good... I know it's not a popular opinion ... Cheers

Make an assortment of just smoke bombs, snakes, sparklers and fountains. I'd buy it if it could ship to states that are safe and boring sane 😆.

Imagine a mini rack for tube fountains. You could fuse them however you want for timing.

I love to see your fireworks how you light so many crackers in one videos very nice i think you are very rich . i am from india and our biggest festival is diwali we all are very happy to see fireworks in those days in india fire cracker is available with variety so i have idea for next diwali can plz make some videos of sky shots on diwali in my place because our society has so many people specially children they are always excited for crackers . I like fountains don’t get me wrong but I’ve came to realize that most of the little packs u get with 2-6 mini fountains u get for $10 are typically better then the holo $10-$20 singles especially if u light 2 of the minis at the same time u can create a way better fountain on ur own

I love it when I get boxes of base fountains in an assortment. Yeah, they're typically nothing world shaking, but you do get FOUR of them in the same appx volume as a 3x8 tube fountain. Quite a few factories are actually making them decent, as well. They tend not to be full of air, either. As I get assortment packs like this specifically FOR small fun items to light to keep my grubby mitts out of my stash- more things to light is a good thing. As long as they're mostly actual fireworks, and not endless boxes of flashing fountains and strobes... (Ahem, TNT: are you listening???) It pays to look around, and be a bit picky- esp with S&S assortments. The ones full of big looking tubes and boxes tend to be pretty disappointing- while a box/bag/tray full of base fountains is exactly what it looks like. If you like those, buy it. With "full line" assortments, I prefer the ones that actually have the full line of stuff in them. Crackers, spinners, rockets, crackle items, sparklers, fountains, cakes, etc. Again, these are purely for fun time items, not for a display. If all I want is cakes, shells, etc- I'll choose them individually off the shelf. (after all- that's part of the fun of going to a fireworks store, amiright?) Sometimes I will buy an all aerial assortment, simply because they're filled with all the fun old school small cakes nobody carries any more. I'm old- nostalgia plays a big role, lol. Cheesy one-tube fountains are to be expected in lower end assortments- they need to keep them to a certain cost, so they can price them to sell and still make money. Those items really aren't made for picky pyros like us. What really burns my shorts, though, is when you buy a single fountain off the shelf, presumably a premium type item- and get that single tube within a bigger tube. What the hell??!! Just make it a damn base fountain!! Which will also be less likely to fall over... The bonus for the seller/importer, is that they will come packed with MANY of them in each case- saving you shipping$$ vs 2-4 big boxes full of air and paper and a wee bit of pyro. There's too many GREAT fountains out there to waste money on that crap... Alright, I'm stepping down off the soapbox.

Absolutely, on both points. The fountains are ridiculous in most of the assortments. Put in a couple of hybrid fountains. And you should get a assortment with your knowledge involved. Your cakes are awesome.

Not sure on assortments (as they are usually a waste imho) but Miracle puts out nice cakes...they are in my top 5 when I go pyro shopping (Winda, Raccoon, Sunwing, Magnus, Miracle, and Brothers) though Kripton and Black Scorpion are nice emerging companies.

I love the idea for 2023 cos I love my cakes as all skinny pyros do.
