@@RD0204Full disclosure, I am caucasian and in no way qualified to give you an accurate explanation. This is from my knowledge and can in no way be considered a fact. Considering that a lot of the beauty products (specifically foundation and concealers) come from international brands, the shade range really coincides a lot with what is available internationally. However, in the passed few years, more black-owned brands have been changing up the game such as Swiitch beauty. Brands like Fenty beauty aren't as easily attainable here as in other parts of the world, but brands like Revlon and Maybelinne are (think of the Maybelinne fit me shade range). We are a very diverse country (having 11 official languages and various cultures in one place). In my personal opinion, makeup in South Africa has evolved with the makeup produced internationally

South African accent is somewhat British. My best friend in college was South African and that was her accent, but my friend now is from there and her accent is different. It's probably a melting pot of accents and cultures and that's awesome

It really is a mixture, our accent is as diverse as our culture, people from different states/cities have different accents, there isn't one South African accent 🙂

In South Africa there’s eleven national languages. It’s depends on where you are. Some people speak Afrikaans and that’s close German, Zulu is very common as well.

I Stan those eyelash suitcases. One of my friends who sells lashes uses those for her packaging and has her brand logo on them. Really makes her stand out!
