I think the first to have used the "halo" is STAYHIGH 149 in the early 1970s. He added to his tag the character of the TV series "the saint" which had a halo above his head. 😇

Weird… back in my day, long before the internet, when we discussed the “halo” we were talking about the last outline you put all the way around your piece when you were 100% completed, it was typically white or high contrast. It was just to make it pop. Anyone else in the States remember it like that? Smoe’s pieces are too advanced for that. Because of the way he highlights his outlines and adds drop shadows under his whole piece, the traditional halo would ruin that effect in most cases. IMHO

At 2:30 there is an artwork with all mini green styles with "suze" tag, the writer is Zeus and he is one of the kings of naples I m so surprised to see him at Beyond's spot ✨✨
Love montana cans but I wish they kept their old can design. Especially the black line. The B on the can just looked nice and told you the paint was created for graff.
Fuck! Watching this studio is awesome.. I gave up on Art not because of skill but because it's so expensive, all the paint and equipment, even the place to do art/live ..that was always a struggle for me.. but shit this is inspiring
