Thank you so much for watching! This was a really fun project for me as well as a challenge. Come play the game Wild Rift here!: riotgames.sng.link/Dus0s/uklp It’s a mobile game, basically modified version of league of legends for mobile! 🥰
Don't know what is the best thing here: - the fact that you painted Jinx - the fact that Riot Games supports your art and comissioned this - that she is a character from your husband's favorite game - the quality of the art itself
I still cannot wrap my brain around artists starting with one place and growing the painting from there. I cant imagine trying to paint something and then realizing the eyes are too far apart and the arms aren’t to scale 😂
lololol if you look closely it is TRACED (nothing wrong with that, i do it too) the rest is all about knowing how to use colors. This was not free hand.
She is very good ! I need to look more , but I plan to buy one myself. Have you heard of Masterworks? You invest $1000 or more and buy ownership of original masterpieces. Like an Original Dali that is worth $10 million , and they sell it for $20 million , you would double your money. They would be a good sponsor of your youtube channel.
Pfff... Completely mindblown by this artwork! The fact that you created a digital reference from a collection of other pictures and finetuned that is also a craft of it's own (would love to see you do that too). I don't play the videogame but I loved this video. I'd love to see you paint more work like this because it's completely out of this world!
This might be one of my favorite paintings of yours and I'm not even a gamer of any kind. I would love to see a video focusing on your methods of creating the reference. Absolutely breathtaking Lena 👏
I love how this looks sooo realistic! I have been checking every week for a new video. I am 11 and I am not the best artist as I wish I could be. I really want to be as good as you and my friend! Though I really am not that good. Can you please make a video for young artist like me, and show some good drawing and painting teqniques?
Thank you Tejal and don't worry because anyone can learn how to paint! It just takes a lot of practice and not giving up ❤️I have a playlist where I have some tutorials and there will be more on the way, hope it helps! ru-vid.com/group/PLKQ3ynSeXKJN_BGvVsxmwV-Hyndu01BJ3
Hey you are not alone :) i am 11 as well (not as young mentally, but yeah ) , and i really am a pretty good artist (hard to believe isn't it , but i draw realism) , i have drawn in graphite , colored pencils ... But when it comes to painting , and i tried every type of paint; acrylic , tempera which was The worst , guache, watercolor, oil ...It just doesn't work for me! And your motivation can be everything ! Really , last year i was drawing "anime" and i saw a face portrait tutorial online , it changed everything in my art pieces! But when people tell you "you should give up" , "what is that worth in the future " , "who is that" , yeah it can really hurt , but those words are something that makes you realize , maybe it isn't good enough , but you need to keep going , because the future doesn't make YOU , YOU make the future
Thank you for explaining your process to us newer painters. I have been painting for two years but still have not tried to make digital art. But I think I will change that soon. Great job on the painting
Hi Lena - thank you for another great video- SPECTACULAR as always. Also wanted to thank you for teaching me oil painting and giving me the confidence and inspiration to just go for it and try it! First painting sold for $50! Pure luck. Been struggling with my colors looking too saturated or too blah so I went back and watched your tutorial on colors and color theory. Wow! What a difference in such a short amount of time! Thank you Lena! You are a goddess.
Amazing 😃😃😃 someday I will try oil paint but for now its acrylic and other kinds of artworks. It will take a long time for me to condition myself to focus and reach that kind of detail awesomeness of hers.😊 Bless her more 🙏🙏🙏
Wow! I have been following your art work for Years. Your work has always been amazing, but I see the growth with each new painting. It’s really inspiring! 🙌🏽 good for you!
Your point about "Physical Art" vs "Digital Art" really hits home with me, after all the Digital Art can be vaporized instantly and the Physical Art will last so much longer!
My goodness, thank you, Patrick. That is far too kind a compliment, Rembrandt is one of my favorites and it would be a huge honor if I could ever hold a tiny candle to his greatness, and I have a VERY long way to go. Thank you for such kind words❤️
Woow after two months you came. Really appreciate it your efforts!! That's totally worth it!! So realistic and epic!! The realism you created is remarkable!! It really takes around more than a month!! That details are showing up 🤘!! Keep up the awesome work 👍 😊🙌💯
Wow this is incredible!! Idk how you have so much patience to be able to draw all this. I don’t know if it’s just me, but every time I start a drawing a picture I never get to finish it because I have like zero patience LOL
Great painting as usual, Lena. You had mentioned in the video about wanting to do more fantasy figures in the future, but you also said about it taking some time to compile references to how you want it. I don't know if you've heard of Daz studio. It's a rendering program the site offers for free, just have to wind up buying assets from the site to use. I go back and forth between digital art and traditional, but I find when I do traditional and want to create a fantasy piece, using Daz helps since I can create a character in the program using different assets, pose the character how I want and capture different angles I want with the cameral and render the images when I'm happy after staging. Wouldn't necessarily have to worry about someone coming in to allow you to get some reference material.
Omg! I loved this!😭 This is flawless✨! Waiting next of KDA❤❤❤ ......omg i really happy for you..that its a comission of riot games..and you really made it realistic...you are literally lucky af
Incredible to see you start from the eyes with full detail. You’ve gotta be experienced and confident for that, though preparing digitally beforehand must have made it easier.
I recognized her as soon as I looked at the thumbnail of this video although I've never played the game, which in my opinion is a great thing to achieve when changing the style of a known character to a different style.
Wow so much amazing skill you have developed. So satisfying it would be, isn't it, when you complete an art work. I am jealous, jealous that you got it. Thank you so so ❤️ much.
this looks amazing could you show the reference board you composed and how you "digitally frankenstein'd" it together? I think that's a seriously important skill for most artists to learn
Well i am 12 years old and how could i tell you whenever i watch your videos it inspire me so much and i started painting all the paintings are gorgeous and i am indian
You have a great talent being able to create a image so beautifully, I am an artist myself, I only started again a few months ago, I haven't been painting for 10 years
1:28 to 2:05 Could you possibly do a video about how you do a digital mock-up or maybe suggest someone who has does this as a tutorial? I really enjoyed watching you paint a fictional character as a realistic painting! You have really inspired me to push out of my comfort zone and try to paint a more realistic photo. I would really like to try painting and make my own mock-up of an already existing fictional character. Thanks
