Hey Ya'll! :)
This is the moment I've been waiting for! We made so much good progress this week and it's all starting to come together! We installed new ceiling fans which makes the sunroom 1000x cooler, added really pretty string lights, painted the floors the most gorgeous color ever, added a projector screen for cozy movie nights and attempted to do a stencil tile! Oh, and I got some pretty cool new plants too! Also, don't forget to enter the 100K subbies giveaway!!

The stencil part will break your back. Love the color without...it is extremely classy without. The stencil will look like a checkars theme. You don't want it to look like a daycare room. Love the innovation! Lovely!

Those plants will thrive in that space..... all plants needs is plenty light, the right amount of water and fertilizer and those are some pretty easy to care for plants 🪴....👍👍

The stencil looks great. Maybe just do it as a border? Also, a word of advice… before you put everything in there you may want to consider a sealer on the floor. Although you used a porch and patio paint, moving chairs and furniture will chip and scratch the paint. After all of that money and work, you really want to protect your investment. Please put a sealer over the paint! I painted my floor and I didn't put a sealer down I had to re do the whole thing in less then a year.

What if you stenciled with the other color choice? Using a lighter tone of the floor color for the stenciling would give a more subtle effect without being overwhelming. Love how this room is turning out!

No stencil. The floor has texture . Or, you can do a stenciled rug in the center with that other color you had so it is subtle, as someone has commented above.

The floor is already so pretty on its own because of the pattern that is already in it. I don't think the stencil is necessary. But you do whatever makes you feel happy! Great job on all your projects!

Again, great job! No need for stencils, except around the border. Use rugs for a statement. I liked Marcus’ idea for four corner stencil statement. it would give it structure and not look random or unfinished. 😉

The paint compliments the floor texture and gives it an old world presence. So...I would say no stenciling. The floor really looks awesome & you guys are doing a beautiful job. I cant wait to see the finished product!😘

Since you have rugs don't stencil the whole floor, ( why do all that work and cover it). after you place the rugs you can decide if you want to stencil the border, and if so continue with the white, or another color pulled from the rugs

I agree, it's either do all of the flooring with the stencil or without it. I personally think it looks beautiful without the stencil because the flooring has the gorgeous mosaic texture to it but I think it would look beautiful with the stencil as well. I can already tell your sunroom will be a nice relaxing oasis. I'm so jealous lol.

I think you should leave it the solid color and add outdoor rugs to add dimension to your room. Plus it's easier to change out a rug. Everything you have done so far looks great!!!

Beautiful as usual! I was going to suggest you only do a boarder stencil, but after further consideration, no leave the floors one color. May I suggest painting the doors and the window frame looking into your living room black? That would give you a “ Fixer Upper”, modern farmhouse vibe. You and Marcus have excellent taste, so whatever you decide, it will be quality. I was not as mature as you when I was your age!!!

No stencil, I agree, it looks so good by itself. For myself, when in doubt, I go with the “classic” look, you can always add a modern look/element with decor and rugs which are easily changed out with trends. I honestly don’t think you would miss it at all once the rugs and furniture are down. 😁 can’t wait to see what you decide.

Although beautiful, the floor has enough character on its own without the stencil. I think when you add the furniture with rugs, blankets, pillows and decorative pieces it will make the floor pop. The floor color is a beautiful contrast to the walls. 🤗💖
