Hello everyone, I'm Saayi. Today I will be painting a sketchbook spread of beloved anime Sailor Moon!
This is not a tutorial, but my painting process on my journey to improve my drawings and paintings with different traditional media. This time I am using Gouache and Alcohol Markers.
My RU-vid channel is about artsy stuff, mostly drawing and coloring on my SKETCHBOOK, especially my OC or Original Characters, but I also do FAN ART, digital comics (webcomics) and I plan on doing crafts now and then as well. I hope the videos will relax you in a cozy atmosphere and maybe even keep you company while you draw as well ^^ I hope you enjoy! :D

I related to Usagi because while I got good grades, I was a klutz, crybaby, procrastinator and video game player but I also like to believe that I was also her good attributes too. Like being strong for my friends when I needed to be. Lol.

That was a super chill video and I'm impressed how cohesive the alcohol markers and the guache pages look in the end, not like two entirely different mediums at all!! 🤯 I totally feel your childhood frustration about watching Sailor Moon on TV. ARGH!!

I watched this show growing up as well. I remember playing with the dolls. This spread is so beautiful! And your coloring technique is so inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

Hey why did you use the colorless blender under her nose what was the purpose? I've been using markers for a few years now and still cant figure out what it used for

Well in that part I used it to erase the shadow under her nose a bit, I felt I painted a bit too much.... that is basically all the use I ever give to it, to erase unwanted mistakes.... other than that I use it to blend the edges of really light colors, but that is it. I hope it helped a bit 🤗🤗
