Dear, thanks for your video. The files for Frecad have a mistake, the MeLE Quieter 2 Losmandy Dovetail Clamp, and the PPA LosMandy Dovetail Clamp are the same.... There is missing a part..., please can you check?, probably is missing the clamp, the body is ok.
Thank you for those!! Is there another way to get the nut in the losmandy holding brackets? I will have to get them printed by a shop and they will not stop to insert a nut at the proper time....
Ah! That’s tough. Sorry, I don’t have a good answer for you. But if you know someone who has a 3D printer, or maybe try with your local library, it’s a better option than having a shop print these out. CS!
I cannot know for sure since I don’t own the Q3. That being said, the 3D model is relatively easy to update and you should be able to tweak it to accommodate any change in the position of the screw holes between the Q2 and Q3. CS!
@darkskygeek I have ordered a threading tap and want to experiment with that for threads that hold bolts. But I tried to make a threaded blank 1.25" filter for dark frames and that didn't go so well
