I'm pretty sure coffee grounds and egg shells can be great for plants, my dad does that (compost) with many of his vegetables from his garden and he has a decent green thumb 😂 And yeah, zucchinis need space, my dad has grown those as well. Think of it almost like a pumpkin patch and their vines or even squash, the vines grow long and the zucchini will grow along the vines. So space and I would say having it on the ground would better than a raised garden bed just so the zucchini can grow without restraint. And in case they grow down the vine and out of the bed, they don't drop to the grow because of the weight. Some of them can be huge!
My pup is very grateful her treats are safe from Roni and guppy 🤣 You guys are such a joy! Truly so relaxing to watch your vlogs. My husband and I just purchased our first home. It is bittersweet leaving the garden that I have at our current home (our landlord allowed me to plant things which was a blessing). But watching you garden is a great reminder of how fulfilling it will be to start a new garden … one that will last hopefully for years to come.
I love watching your videos while I work on my house. It really helps motivate me to get more done around my house than I normally would. I’m a struggling young mother, I am with the father of my child. ❤ I love how you guys share your life with us, such a great inspiration on how to live life 🥹🥰
Aaron you need a big light for when you want to work and it’s getting dark, you’ll be able to work later. Love the compost! My strawberries and tomatoes grew so much with compost last year.
Zucchini plants CAN be planted in a raised bed, BUT, they WILL get really big. You want to dedicate like, 4 square feet per plant, unless you're going to single stem it with something like a T-post and train it up the post. With your climate, you may be able to do that successfully. Slugs are actually NOT good for your soil or plants lol. Earthworms are, though! Yay earthworms, boo slugs.
I LOVE THIS! LOTS OF THINGS GROWN IN CALIFORNIA BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER TOO I USE TO LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND I HAD EVERYTHING IN MY GARDEN. RONRON FOR THE WIN. THE DOGS ARE SO CUTE I WANNA HUG THEM.
Garden looks great, Aaron, Im no gardener but I like to see what you do with your garden. 😁 And wow that Onion looked freaky but interesting. 🤔 Excellent job, Roni on training Ellie, and even Guppy wants in, so cute😎 Oh nuuu not that end of vlog threaten, better subscribe, peoples. (I love the end of vlog threat to sub because they are so interactive and fun lol)
Hey Aaron! Recommendation from a former barista. You've got to get your foam super micro and smooth for latte art. It's not easy and it takes time. I was finally feeling pretty decent with it my fourth year as a barista then I left to pursue my now job full time 🤣
Just finished the video. Being within the first 100 viewers/2 min from posting is wild. But I like it here. Anyway, you inspired me to plant tomatoes and cucumbers this year!
Great video! 👏 Not my doggy treats!!!! Ok Ok I'll subscribe! 😂 I actually already am. 😊 Ya'lls garden looks great 🍅 and great job training Ellie and Guppy! 👏
That's so cool an onion started growing in the compost.... I planted a couple apple seeds cuz when I cut into the apples to make homemade juice, a bunch of the seeds were rooting inside the apples, so I have 8 planted so far, I hope they turn out well, that would be cool to have free apples in a few years lol
Today was hectic. But...oh wait...it's the next day because it's passed midnight...anyway....I met Preacher Lawson tonight after watching his comedy set live in person which was wild. I didn't even know I'd get to meet him but I did. ❤❤❤❤
You guys should try the game honey buzz. Mentioned the board game Everdell in a comment recently on another vlog. My husband and I play board games and it's a new favorite of ours.
