FYI, Lodge still allows unlimited UTG straddles and restraddles. I had a guy straddle All-in for over $2k a few weeks back, lol.

Nate Meyvis on bluff-catching: "If they move an inch, we move a mile." That is, theoretically, if your opponent is properly balanced with their value and bluffs on the river, it doesn't matter what you do. However, if they don't bluff enough, you are supposed to fold *all* your bluff-catchers. Conversely, if they bluff too much, you're supposed to call with *all* of your bluff-catchers. This is not intuitive, but I'm pretty sure that even Ed Miller () confirmed this. Chris said he's "out for blood." I think you can throw him in the latter category ("bluff too much"). Then your only tanking on the call should be for (a) courtesy, and/or (b) cloak the fact that you were snapping him off, period.

26:00 Love the grace and professionalism of snap-showing the aces when the opponent says you're good. A couple of vloggers are like, "The viewers wanna see what they had!" The viewers don't need to see it, and they're not as important as the good of the game and your role as an ambassador. Opponent says "You're good," or equivalent, you show. If they then turn up a better hand, well, then they're scumbags, but you can hold your head up high.

Great channel. Aside from the topic in this video (which was very accurate), what do you think about Americas Card Room? I reside in New York State so online poker is very limited. I've been playing ACR for years. Never large stakes. Mostly low and micro tournaments and some cash. I will play about 5-7 tournaments a week. I will reach the bubble quite often and even min-cash. However I never go beyond min-cashing. Before the bubble I will have a commanding chip lead, within the top 10% of the field. Yet near the bubble I ALWAYS begin to lose. It never seems to fail. I also play live poker on the weekends with positive results (to the point where I have considered quitting my job to play full time) and study poker just about daily. So this all leads back to ACR and whether or not something shady is going on when players get near the money. Has anyone ever analyzed hand histories like they did with Ultimate Bet and Full Tilt Poker to see whether or not certain users are winning with sketchy hands all too often? Just curious if you know anything about ACR. Thanks for all the videos and info you provide

12:35 You fell for what Brokos calls the "Jedi Mind Trick." It's a $1/3 cash game. CASH GAME, Matt. Min-click opens are not a Thing. So when somebody opens, your 3bet to 4x the open should seem reasonable, only his open was unreasonable, so you need to adjust your 3bet size to something appropriate for a 3bet of a reasonable open. Let's say he opens to $10, which is kinda reasonable. Then a 4x (OP 3bet standard, imo) would be $40. And that should be your number. Chris wants to jump the fence with his ducks there, great. But $25 is what they call "Standard open in a $1/3 game" down there.

I think if I was playing head to head or three way I would want to see the community cards. If I was playing more than two people I would want to see everyone’s hands. The more cards I could see the better.

I play Omaha Hi Lo and knowing the board in either variant of Omaha would be way more useful. In NLHE you would look like a fish or super user raising with garbage and getting lucky with raggedy straights or trips.

I didn't love the face follow camera setting, but I didn't hate it. I might get used to it. It does seem like a lot more motion, like your cameraman got shaky hands. It might help decide the matter if you could do a TikTok cheerleader dance.
