if apple actually made a home console, it would probably look like a mac mini but in a black color scheme and with optional RGB for only 2000 more euros
It would be the iPlay pro and cost more than the average house. And it would be welded shut to prevent repair. If you wanted to connect it to an external display it would require an "earthquake cable" and an apple TV which costs more than 2 houses and is also welded shut. The controllers would come separately and cost about as much as a car and require batteries made by apple. Then maybe you could run doom 1 at 10fps.

They did actually release a console once, it sold like shit. If apple were to make a newer console, it would likely only take a small portion of people away from competition. There’s nothing that apple can do to make it really “special” unless they make a console like the one in this video, even then, just get a MacBook? Or a Nintendo switch or a steam deck or a windows laptop.
@@gamingwithmahirofficial2489 the phone market is completely different from the console market. Ps5 and Xbox already have very good performance, do you want them running at 8k? The only reasonable market for them to actually succeed and not just have middling sales is the portable market but the steam deck and switch are already pretty good at that. It’s only selling point would be apple exclusive games.
