I love how you instead of brainlessly grind, mate, imprint, go caving and fighting bosses, you actually played to have fun and took your time, one of my favourites ark ytbers.
Ive watched several of these 100 days videos and ive come to a realization. This man...doesnt learn. Some of your deaths are circumstance but the majority are "i can do this, im the main character" related lmao. Good content, very enjoyable to watch but highly frustrating being able to see the enevitable coming. 10/10 deserving of a creator award.
Fun fact: Thylas aren't felines; they're marsupials. One of Australias last big predatory marsupials, which went extinct about 50K years ago. Thought to be fair, their common name is "marsupial lion".

I got the frog early on in my most recent run and boy is that going to be my priority for every new start from now on. They get you around pretty easily, they're decent in a fight, they can outrun pretty much anything AND they get all the chitin you'll ever need. Great starter mount and they often hang by the edge of the swamp so you don't actually have to go into the swamp to get them. I got lucky and scored one on day two a little to the west of where you set your starter base.
Maybe I am "in game claustrophobic" because your base is very nice but I could never live in such cramp spaces. All my bases are five walls high MINIMUM for each room and level. With multiple stair and ladder access routes. I also tried building a WTC replica but I got both towers to 72 stories when It would not let me build higher. It looked glorious even at 2/3 height. I was so devastated that I could not complete this exhausting build that I have not played the game since. Thanks for sharing
I’m so excited to continue this 100 days series. I hope you keep it going. A lot of people restart the beginning of each world to the point every time I start a stream or a series it feels like I’m just watching the same stuff from the beginning of ark, taming t Rex’s, fight the first few bosses, then they cut the series and start all over again. I like the continued series idea cause it actually shows the ways you can further advance in the game after the basics that every RU-vidr does. Thank you for the series and I can’t wait to be back for the next hundred days and I hope you keep the same Dino’s and survivor as you load up the next world when it finally releases. I absolutely love this game not only for the graphics improvements, but also all of the quality of life changes. Unfortunately, my pc can barely handle ASE, let alone ASA
I haven't played ARK nor seen much content about it since the initial launch, but your enthusiasm is definitively selling it to me. On unrelated note, it's kinda spooky how well RU-vid's machine God understands what interests me.
Yeah it’s been a lot of fun jumping back into Ark with a fresh remaster. It still has its issues as do all early access games but wild card will eventually smooth it all out. Thanks for the support bud!

I just had the opportunity to start a new character on a friend's private server. If you get your fortitude up to 45 or higher the extreme temp swings don't effect you as much.
I love this game because of moments like “getting hit off the cliff” when you survived, turned and saw that thing standing there in the moonlight looking at you curiously. It was horror from the first Jurassic Park movie

Off the beach you would find tons of oil, it's the blue/purple corals. Found like crazy in the whole south zone in shallow waters. Just know metal pick an anky are the best for it still. But way easier than snow area.
So glad I got to watch this so soon after release (three times) *cough* *cough* I swear I have a life, cannot wait for 200 days, ASA looks so damn good, cant waot to play it myself.

Really am enjoying the new look. can't wait to see what the other maps look like. Also, just incase, you can claim wild babys by either taming the parent or killing the parent.
I love Thylas for caves but they are fairly big. Try Baryonyx, Sabertooth, Terror Birds, Dire Wolf, or a male Megalaceros. Are decently strong and with smaller collision boxes for tight bits. (lol, finally got to the point in your video where you realized this for yourself).
A cool tip syntac uses is instead of slowly picking up structures one by one he grabs the whole thing at once by picking up the foundations also tame babies by taming or killing the parents then you can claim the babies and raise them as your own
One of my biggest joys in ark is building very nice looking and intricate bases, so for me the water and electricity changes alone make ascended worth it to me, also helps that the games absolutely gorgeous too lol

Just so youknow syzen if you want to mass craft ascendant saddles, you can, with a theri. Theris are BY FAR the best at gathering hide. As long as you allocate the "extra" levels into power harvesting you get more than a chainsaw. Youll get about 900 from a bronto and like 600 from normal creatures. I know my comment as im just another random commenter you "cant trust" but just at least give it a try man, i did and you will not be disappointed. Theris are insane gatherers for wood n fiber too. Or even berries if you want them to be. Theri on top of grinder you should easily be able to craft saddles.
I don’t know if any of your subscribers have ever said anything to you, but the entire time I’m listening to your video while playing a game on my Xbox and thinking… I didn’t know Jim Carrey was a gamer. As your voice sounds exactly like him. To the point where if you said alrighty, then… I think many people would believe you were him. And maybe you are, who knows. Regardless, great content. Jokes on you, I got HMCC on sale for like $10 on Steam. However I do want Ascended despite the Island being the only map. Although there are mod maps, I've seen Svartelheim already as a mod map for Ascended.
I have 100 hours into this game and I've seen precisely one anky, on herbivore island. I know there are more spawns than that but I haven't found any. Also so annoying that penguins in single player don't spawn on the glaciers, only the clifftops and in low numbers.
2:27 it's an entire COLLECTION OF GAMES for 50$ and not one poorly optimized remaster that they still charge full price for with barely any reasoning as to why it should cost that much
Cant tell if he did it because he knew and wanted the handicap, or if he legit didnt know. But the Rhynio lets you pick up even rexes, with just under the lift weight of a quetzal, as well as being able to pick up objects the way the mech suit does on Gen2. So. Look forward to having an easier time moving tames next time lol
acutally i also think especially for pve i kinda like the motion blur, it helps make the game fell smoother, idk why ppl hate on that so much i really think it be depending on the game, tho id love if there was a way of making the motion blur less like u could change how strong
by the way.. tip. in order to use kite traps to work you literally have to pick them up and drop them in and or stand in it lead them in and place the walls to block it in.
