Thanks! It’s nice cuz the 100 years isn’t super long to record but the editing and voice recordings take forever! I have a minimum of 1 video per weeks and shoot for 2 per week if possible!!! I do however work 80 hours a week at another job as well so I do my best :)

There’s a harder difficulty where iron and stone are limited. And the viking will increasingly stronger. That will force you to rely on wood wall to survive and if you can for 250, you unlock a building. We can make a playthrough out of that

I used to do this thing where I would put two towers next to each other and I kept building it up so it covered a ton of space but it looked really bad, but you could try if you want

Reason why you could noria only in some places is because it has to be on fresh water tiles, which you can check by clicking on them, they are either fresh or sea tiles. Pro tip: Moat can be used as a source of fresh water

Alright new player here(inspired by you) with a somewhat good game, I made the fatal mistake of placing my keep near the waters I had three Kings from another island talk to me, one in good terms, one in good terms, one in terrible terms after he threatened me to back off(Bro I am literally sqrt(2) away from you, and your neighbors are 1 distance away.) The King sent a diplomat but I accidentally ignored it, soon he wanted tribute, so I decided: Never!, Never!, You again? Never! I had no army as I didn't know how to make a barracks. I managed to ally both kings and when the tribute-asking King came with a question of tribute, I said never and the King said WAR(for being insulted) Their enemy came at my gate next to my makeshift castle near a river, this is part of the plan! Their archers came, then their baristas came, I just recovered from both a dragon and a Viking ogre attack! However during all of this I sent a diplomat and told them to destroy my enemies, I went into the other guy and asked the same Funnily enough both agreed to destroy my enemy, and even landed next to my farming island and snuck behind enemy troops Now the enemy king is being compressed by both sides while I watch and farmed and mined and increase the populii as my allies were getting too strong Greatest thing is, I now have two allies and it's just a matter of time until the enemy king capitulates and I didn't spend anything(but a few walls) Luckily in the future I can play both sides as if I know the AI they would declare war on each other instead as long as I keep my relations high I feel like I am a just a vulnerable version of switzerland at this point

Hey so how your trade ships work is basicly: at your port you decide what theyre gonna take with them what theyll have for sale so to speak and then they take that to other nations ports and these nations then decide whether to buy something or not you get no say in it and theres even a trade and profit notification in the top left and when they return to your port they stock up if somethings been sold or just start their cycle again

The trick is to stay favorable long enough for an alliance every time. That way when your tired of tribute or bullshit u send 30-40 units to there keep to hang out. Then Declare war faster then they can respond.

I don't know if it's a bug or not but it seems if you accept a "send troops before next invasion" quest when there is currently a invasion it automaticaly fails. I have yet to try putting some troops permenatly at their kingdom to see if that works

Fun fact about castle's: did you know that Castles are designed to be human death traps? like how most are shaped like triangles or squares because there's a thing call kill zones for outside the castle (like the open fields that archers can hit you) and once you breach the inside there a thing called death zones or killing fields where enemy archer's on top if walls surrounding you can easily mow you down

You should try and build one of the monuments: like the great library or the cathedral. It would look super cool and maybe it would increase happiness around the island. I am also pretty sure that the great library allows you to buy research and things that make your citizens more productive, but this research also comes at a great monetary sacrifice. Keep up the good work! I love this game, and there are so few youtubers producing K&C content.

it seems like you need more people so I will tell you a cheesy way to get more. First get your happines to 60 percent and then start a party in city center, it will attract 20-60 people if you have enough beds
