Probably a lower over pair. I can do the math for you, but over pairs aren't that common after all 5 are out. Assuming J-A as the 10 showed up on the river. Could have been 8-A before the river. Man didn't play his hand that strong specifically to trip people up.
@@operez1990he had none of those. he accidentally flipped over the ace of spades when mucking and all those hands you mentioned would not flat the 75 preflop.
I played a guy in vegas once for 3 hours straight who was a chip shuffler. the way he shuffled was a tell, if he had something good he shufffled more aggressively. He would stop shuffling for a second if he was bluffing or thinking about making a call with a mediocre hand. That was fun.
@@joshuabrownell3993problem is multi way and wolf gang raised too small because there is 150 of dead money and so he only raised it to 325 so once the initial raiser called the guy to his right almost has to call for pot odds (has to put in 250 to win 975) so he could be wider than you think with any suited ace of spades or suited connectors or gappers and a possible straight draw with 6-7 suited and depending on how loose villain is but again to be fair he would almost be making a bad fold due to the smallish 3-bet sizing so actually not that loose.
@@alexmunda8191 dude basically every street was weird/horrible except for preflop. flop bet 450 into a 1000 is weirdly sized. you can make an exploitative big bet since they will likely not fold an overpair/fd on any bet, while they will likely fold any complete miss to even a smaller bet. so betting close to a pot is way better. from gto perspective, you probably wanna bet smallish and more often, so even sth like 250-350 would be better balanced. this 450 bet makes no sense, especially against two players. you make it cheap for made hands/draws, which would have gladly paid more, and you make it more expensive for yourself to bluff. but ok, at least he made a bet, as he should. skipping the turn bet is the biggest mistake in the entire hand. 3 is a brick, so why give free equity to all the draws and give a free card to all overpairs, which may fold to a high river card? this was really fishy. ALWAYS bet here, be it against noobs and pros. never ever check in this spot. river is again very meh and it's kinda hard to say what's best here, as the ranges are so weird after the skipped turn. betting 750 into 1900 is again kinda weird. I mean, why now bet on a card that more hits the opponents range and not your own? this bet just seems like a valuebet and that you would basically never ever bluff here. and what hands do you want value from? JJ, 99, 88? any why not bet against that on the turn? I mean, I would MUCH rather see a turn bet and then checking back the river (would still be a mistake imo, but not at big). in any case, probably bet bigger here, hope they wont fold anyway and that you are just trying to scoop the pot with some missed draw when they showed weakness 3 times in a row at this point. but overall you can sum it up in a way that if you have it, just bet. dont overthink it, dont slowplay or trap, just bet. especially in live games where people LOOVE to see showdowns and dont like to lay down and only get a decent hand every 15 minutes. not betting is a massive error and like the gentleman said, a prime example how not to play kings.
The check behind on the turn was so dangerous there. So much money already in the pot, 2 spades on the flop, 3 on the turn potential straight to the Ace on the river (which he most likely had in his hand).
You for sure had to bet that turn. If you have to skip a bet you avoid the river bet. but to be honest you should be there also. The only argument to not betting is trying to not define your range and leave it wide. Truth be told your range is still wide when you double barrel if you play the other hands well.
love how everyone just fondles their chips around in their hands 24/7. Reminds me of the my local meth addict scratching himself while fast walking down the street
Gratz for the win, this is the kind of spot where i always expect Ace of spades on the river and opponent open jamms and then makes me cry by showing 86o after i fold (y)
Here I was thinking "just check or go for small value, because he probably won't call with anything that you beat anyway... Huh... Get that value I guess". Maybe he thought you were bluffing with air?
