They could even enlist the help of the community. I know TONS of people that would be willing to sign a contract to work for WC for free to work on an enforcement team. All it would take would be for them to set up a system where if one of these contracted players makes a ban, all the information is logged and is available for review by the rest of the contracted players. That way if someone makes a false ban it can be reviewed by others and reversed. Too many false bans by one player and they lose their contract and are off the enforcement team

They also need to start utilizing hwid/IP bans. One of the biggest problems in ASE was that people didn't care if they got banned because new accounts were either extremely cheap or even free depending on your platform and where you were getting your accounts. I've met soany cheaters in one of the trade discords I'm in that openly brag about how they have been globalled 20+ times. Sure there are hwid and ip spoofers but they're not very common and that extra layer would stop at least a good strong portion of the repeat offenders

@@hankhasemeier6887 You can literally google hwid/ip spoofers and get the for dog cheap. You saying they aren't common actually shows you know very little. The only people those are stopping are the actual children who are still awful even when using cheats. People keep spoofing argentina nonsense too, and buying the game for dirt cheap beacuse of it. Server I was on had an entire Turk tribe that bought the game like 15 times because of said cheapness, so that they could cheat to their heart's content. Plus they ported over their dogshit code from ASE, and never cleaned it up. SO fat chance of them doing ANY method that would help solve the cheating issues. I find myself hoping ark 2 fails after the travesty of ASA on top of the countless lies.

Yeah it’s pretty awesome, but in my opinion the whole artifact issue for boss fights is pretty frustrating. My tribe owns all of 8004, every artifact cave, and nobody is playing on it anymore because they can’t get tek. I feel like the bosses should just be tributes so everyone can get tek there would be more PVP.

We have mobilized local law enforcement and new outlets. Currently there is a bill on the presidents table for signature. Once this bill gets passed we will get some answers.

battleye is very strong now. almost no public cheats are undetected. its just wildcard being lazy and not patching the cheat exploits

Battle Eye is fine. It's how it is implemented that is the overall issue. And the fact it does banwaves (which are good), but leave you open to the issues at hand before said banwave.

Wildcard banned china from playing from playing Ark for over a year due to how much china cheats. Now, Snail Games, china owned, owns Wildcard. The chinese cheaters will never be stopped.

They could just hire some interns who go server to server banning cheaters.

If you played ASE for any extended period of time then you would know they absolutely will not full wipe ASA. It took MAJOR cheating catastrophes in ASE for them to even consider a 1 week roll back. The easiest/most recent event to reference was the account spoofing incident. If you don't know what this was here's a brief explanation. People found out that you could spoof the account of another player before you logged in and when you did log in you would be logged into their character. Then you could do whatever you want with their tribe. So basically all tribe leaders got their accounts spoofed then the cheater would kick everyone from the tribe and demolish all the generators and wipe the base. Once this became a public exploit it ran RAMPANT for like 3 weeks and wildcard took almost an entire week to decide that a rollback was necessary and they only rolled back one week. Ok yeah this is different than duping I get that. A wipe wouldn't fix that issue, only a rollback would but if they were willing to wipe ASA at all then they would have done it on day 2 after people found out that you could literally type "enable cheats" into the console and it worked. Then they started using gcm to spawn in whatever they wanted. That got patched real quick and should have been followed with a wipe but WC is terrified of wipes.

@@hankhasemeier6887 Before/at launch they literally already stated a fullwipe at any point isn't out of the cards, so you're flat wrong. They'll most likely leave servers in the state they are until it comes out of "ea". They did the same with legacy servers on ASE.

@@gusi4474 every game has hackers. There's plenty of unofficial servers that deal with this problem immediately after someone reports it. No one has sympathy for people that willingly play on servers that aren't properly administered and complain about it

They're script kiddies, not actual hackers. Don't give them more props than they deserve and boost their ego. They USE hacks/cheats, but 99.999999% of them wouldn't be able to write "hello, world!" code, much less actual cheats lol.
