It was burnout so the frame data changes. Normal Dreversal is -8 but when a burnt out opponent blocks something +4 frames of stun. So when he Dreversal and gief blocked it instead of being -8 punk was only -4 and goers grab is 5frames

Aye I had a feeling someone would make this comment and here it is! Anyway I know everyone knows me as a Hawaii player, and I'll always claim the 808 as my home, but I moved to the PNW over 5 years ago! It's frustrating to see people say that kind of stuff in tournament or stream chats and then everyone thinks I'm some kind of asshole for playing from Hawaii lol... But to be fair the internet in this region is not the best. I have the best internet you can get in my area (not fiber unfortunately) and unfortunately I still have some issues with certain EC connections. I know a super pro guy like Punk would feel the slightest bit of latency so I understand his frustration, but I'd appreciate it if people would stop saying I'm playing from Hawaii...Thanks!

I think he's great close up. However I feel like it's too easy to approach him since his buttons seem to have delays which throws off timingm

@@jamaledwards8118the main movie that does that is S.hp since it charges into psycho knuckle which kinda annoys me sometimes cause combining from a jump in for example with S.hp makes the timing feel off

I think one of his biggest weakness is that he's very prone to getting DI. Sooner or later people will start to DI on reaction to his psycho flicker.

They are both tricky hard to use long range. Should be 5-5 matchup.

In boxing you have in-fighters, which you are thinking, that fight at close range. Then you have out-boxers who prefer staying outside of punching range and use long range punches like those flicker jabs for instance, like Ed.

Funny how? In boxing, If you have a reach advantage over your opponent you fight from outside of their range. If you have superior mobility and defense then your best bet is a hit and run style. Boxing has more depth than just slugging it out at point blank range with the opponent.

When a pro says you're random that means you're doing things that aren't optimal. Therefore, it's something they wouldn't expect. You would then say "Well it worked" and you would be half correct. That random stuff will work for like one set and then the pro will realize you're just being random and will bodied you. So if Punk was playing his main, he would have adapted fast and destroyed most of these with ease.
