I played every BUFFED SUPPORT in Midseason 9... here's what works | Overwatch 2 

For anyone who plays Brigitte, apparently, if you shield bash orisa while she's in Fortify, it stuns you now. I learned that the hard way, I would shield bash her gold to do damage and would get stunned every time.

The lifeweaver change is literally not a buff. Its a net neutral.

One buff LW needs is a faster switch between thorns and blossom

I love Illari's playstyle and I think mastering her pylon placement and things such as maximizing replacing it, managing your cooldowns, timing removing it when it's about to be shot at are super important and those decisions become more intuivie the more I play her. Her shooting feels so much better with the change I was actually surprised by the difference it made, but I agree her beam is the thing that needs the most work. If her pylon is on cooldown she basically is 1/4 of a support.

For LW, I wouldn’t mind if his heal caps at 65 if it means we get a faster healing recharge. His healing is so slow that by 80 cap, your ally already dies.

as soon as i saw that they upped his charge time for his blossoms, i knew the buff wouldn’t really matter. kinda cancels it out in my mind.

Lw just normal playstyle is already just bad and his "buff" doesnt do anything for him.

My problem with Mauga is that he literally wins the neutral vs almost every single other tank. You have to play Mauga into Mauga in order to have even ground. That is just no fun at all

Your Ana play is INSANE

Lifeweaver's "buff" is almost nothing. Mid-fight you rarely if ever go up to 80. Also 70 divided by 80 is .875, to it's the charge time is a little slower (although there's almost no way to notice it because it's so small). Where it'll kind of come into play is when you're healing teammates after fights. Also if there is a bug (or an unannounced nerf) in the time it takes to switch from healing to shooting your attack needles, then he's heavily nerfed.

I feel like the buff lifeweaver needed was a serious decrease to his life grip. if his identity is that he can rescue allies from near death, give him like a 8-12 second cooldown so that he can pull allies out more consistenlty. with the new dps passive, he gets significantly less value out of any of his healing aspects so giving him that extra utility might make him at least more competitive. Though, I see the annoyance factor with the pull being more readily available, so another idea is giving lifeweaver a slowing or maybe even a poison effect if he manages to hit an enemy with thorn volley for up to like, 3 seconds. that way he can be more offensive when the team needs him to be

Buffs that I wanted for illari - longer range for beam heal and ult passes through shields - as for LW I'd really love it if you could pull two or more allies.

This gave me the idea to queue with a supp duo as brig/weaver if they have a ram. Brig is just too juicy for ram to resist so bait him to chase you a bit with brig, get pulled out, and run him down in his baby form

Lw’s grip is the only helpful thing rn. The charge increase makes it so hard to get to 80 heals when my whole team is dying

I have a audio bug recently where I dont hear if someone ults or shoot at me. Its like people running suppressors.

You can tell the balance team never listens because the only buff Weaver could've ever needed was damage.

Lifeweaver should heal over time to allow him to do something else.

Illari’s problem is they made a dps hero and gave it the ability to heal, so now they keep buffing her like she’s a dps hero and not touching her “support” abilities. (Here’s a thought) Change how pilon works. The dps passive and previous nerfs made it bad. Increasing its heals does nothing. Let lifeweaver be an example of that. Make it so when allies are above 60% it has either a damage buff or increase fire rate buff to whoever is affected. And change it to 2 people can be affected by the healing affect at once. While one person is doing damage, another can be healed. Or if both people are low, it doesn’t just heal a single person while the other is left to die. (Next) Her secondary fire. You have to increase the range on that thing. It feels so useless at times. DO NOT INCREASE THE HEALING. (Lastly) Her ultimate. Im tired of hearing people say it should go through barriers. That simply is unfair to tank player because that’s mostly who it will affect. Besides that, make it so you can cast the explosion early. Then it would reward you for actually aiming the ult besides just aiming it in an area and getting rewarded. This would also make it so you can hit flying heroes as well. Also give it a small burn affect just because. Blizzard, you should hire me. I can make this game fun again

tbh, with what they went for with the dps heal debuff, it feels like all support SHOULD be able to do both dps and heal at the same time to be considered "efficient enough", that's what Lucio moira brig and zen does, otherwise, they need a big heal number or movement skills. for Ana, I'd love to see how it would go if the heal shot was healing overtime (let's say 3s 75hp instant + 75hp over 3s) and could be applied even full health. this would unlock more uptime to do damage without havintg to sacrifice the support role. Zen, to avoid tank bullying ,maybe a reduce damage orb instead of increase damage taken would be easier on the game balance ? cause seing exploding tank after the discord is ... well, fun for a while but not sure about if it's healthy for tank :x

It would be interesting to see them change LW's healing target from one to like 3. Reduce the total potential output per shot, but be able to spread a single burst to 3 people at once. Or toggle between 1 and 3... idk, none of their changes so far are worth a damn.

Make her beam do damage too. Like 60 dps. It still uses her healing resources but gives her something for close range

Ana needs faster reload and recharge of healing. The nade takes way too long compared to Moira. The sleep is way too short or it should at least cancel ult like it used to. More healing or dmg isn't that useful. It's not even 100. 60 was already low compared to other healers. By the time I have a new nade, Moira already can fade 2x and use her orb 2x...

Here's an idea for Illari, what if you got ammo back into your clip when you hit headshots?

Make Ilari's shots go through shields when she's in ult (not the ult itself, only her shots). That will make her ult a skillshot but make the follow up a lot more consistent, because right now you can ult 5 people and if they manage to hide behind a shield and your team isn't with you to brawl and do damage at the same time - your ult was useless.

They ruined life weaver, he’s basically useless on majority of the maps now. I use to main him and I believe i was good, After the season 9 update he can’t keep up with heals , isn’t strong enough to do enough damage and the season 9 Now all I see is everyone playing Tank: Orisia, maiga, zayra Dps: everyone now that they all got buffed Support: Moira with a bit of mercy still

At the moment lifeweaver is a hero were you feel like you do so much, when in reality you do nothing compared to the likes of moira, lucio and zen 🥲
