Tips for Xiao from a fellow Xiao enjoyer! C6 Faruzan IS NOT necessary to use on a Xiao team. Faruzan already gives so many buffs to Anemo teams at C0, the only drawback is her ER, but running her with Favonius and just feeding as much ER as humanly possible should fix that! Faruzan is Xiao’s best teammate at any constellation! Mono Anemo Xiao with Xiao, Faruzan, Jean, and Bennett is a fine team! Xiao is able to dodge so many attacks while he’s plunging in his burst, that running Zhongli or another shielder isn’t necessary unless the enemies are super aggressive! If you’re having energy issues with Xiao or Faruzan, you could consider running Favonius on Jean or Bennett! It’ll help considerably if you can’t get their bursts up off cooldown! You could consider putting Jean on the VV set so she can self-swirl Pyro with Bennett’s burst for shield-breaking! Xiangling and Xiao have anti-synergy because her burst won’t hit anything during plunges, except at the very end when he’s hitting the ground! Plus, her burst cost is so high, you’ll be funneling energy into her and Xiao, and that might slow down rotations! Hope these tips were even a little helpful! And have fun LAMENTING! Xiao is one of my favorite characters and it’s great to see newer players using him!
This is really great advice! The energy cost is definitely something I've been struggling to balance. After recording the video I managed to get Xiao up to 140 ER from 130 while maintaining the same crit ratio, and that significantly helped my rotations. You're right; Xiangling has such a high burst cost (plus the anti-synergy thing 😮) that I definitely wouldn't mind replacing her with Faruzan. I didn't know that she was viable at lower than c6 so I will definitely have to build her. I will also work on my Jean build- I like having a quick heal available but theoretically giving her 4 piece VV should buff her dmg while also maintaining her healing 🤔 Much appreciated, fellow Xiao enjoyer! I will continue LAMENTING now with these new tips to try 🫡
Fellow xiao main here just to aprove of this advice, it is indeed very good. I've also ran sucrose on TTDS in the past just for the amount of anemo particles she generates, your c1 xiao is also some extra particles for faruzan
It’s always so interesting to see what people get as F2P. You had some good luck! I have 3 different accounts and my F2P is the luckiest out of all of them too. It’s as if it exists purely to mock my main account because I get things there that took me forever on my main to get. Won 50/50s, early pity, and random pulls on my F2P were lost 50/50s, high pity pulls, and year-long waits on my main that has Welkin. I STILL don’t have a Wolf’s Gravestone on my main 3 years later while F2P had it as my first Standard 5-star weapon right after getting Diluc. 😵💫
Whoaa that's crazy! I am very lucky to have gotten all of my favorite characters within one year of playing, especially as f2p. The gacha system can be unforgiving >.

wow overall you've been very lucky with pulls, I remember my first year I think I won only 1 50/50 and almost all of of them went to hard pity also I understand having one team being more powerful than the rest, my Neuvillette team can clear almost anything as long as the opponents don't have hydro shields/auras XD
oh absolutely! I have friends who lost 5 or 6 times in a row when they tried to pull for new chars and I always feel so bad for them. I have definitely been super lucky! :P I want to get Neuv at some point! He is an awesome dps

Pretty teapot!! I've forgotten about all those cute event items. Have you tried Kokomi with full EM? If you get her to level 85 with 900+ EM, your blooms should do 25-30k damage. She's the one who usually owns the blooms. The dendro flex is usually Collei or Yaoayo, while Kokomi is on-field.
I also startad playing March 2023, My first 5 star was nilou. I stopped playing during summer 2023 but i got back to the game in fall and now my acc almost looks like yours. It's nice to see a realistic acc on youtube ^^ The only sad part is I almost lost every 50-50, so I have 5 standart banner char and 5 of the limited banner
This was actually very informative. Back in my day... after one year, everyone just had ganyu, hu tao, keqing, and diluc, it was not nearly this interesting and you have access to so many more powerful units. You were also lowkey blessed by the RNG gods! Also, I really love that you have decorated your serenitea pot, and those achievement counts are very impressive. Not intending to backseat by any means, but I think your bloom team would do a lot better if you have more hydro application. Kokomi and Nilou's area-dependent app (while off field) doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the immense amount of dendro that Alhaitham and Nahida are giving, especially with all the spread-out enemies in those abyss chambers. It's ok to run just one dendro! But of course you're still doing very well and you can play who you like as long as you're enjoying it :)

For some reason my account is also really lucky, ive been playing f2p on and off for a few years but mostly got back into it recently, i have 5 character banner 5 stars and won every 50/50 so far which is crazy. I know it has to end soon though and im currently saving for wriothsley but im tryna get enough to guarantee him for if i lose the 50/50
I always try to encourage my poor friends who have lost many 50/50s in a row that someday their luck will change for the better, but that also means my good luck will soon lead into a string of bad luck lol. enka is better than chasm for me because the verticality of chasm is so ass. That said, some people find changing the night n day annoying. I still have a soft spot for it because its my favorite OST/vibe
the summer events are always amazing. i really hope they bring the old ones back for new(er) players. the 2022 summer event added a lot of backstory to mona/fischl/kazuha/xinyan. great progress so far! have you tried making a hyper bloom team? you have kuki, xingqiu, and alhaitham already :o faruzan is still really good for xiao at c0 btw, and you can use fav bow for energy as well.
I do want to build a proper hyperbloom team! Kuki is on my list to build asap, and I'm currently re-building Fischl for reactions instead of physical. 🤪 I will also build Faruzan for Xiao, thanks for the tip 🫡
Just want to inform you as a fellow Xiao main that his best teams don't use Zhongli anymore. If you want big plunges pull for xianyun and furina and ofc C6 faruzan, 200k plunges easy.
for xiao dont pull zong li, yes its good but his best team and not even close is furina, c6 faruzan and xianyun then hi is definetly top5 dps in gam + his energy issues are solved
wonder if my theory is right if dont spend lots money or are f2p it gives better pulls than those it sees spend 100-200$ everytime it screws them, like some kind AI that detects weather to screw or not? like if i save up good amount of pulsl then quit for few weeks and come back and pull notice win 50/50 but i see peaople who say they will spend 100$ if loose 50/50., they loose the 50/50.

It's the paimon.moe site. I use it to keep track of all my old pull data because the game deletes your history after 6 months or something. The website saves the data in your browser but you can also export it to an excel spreadsheet. Super helpful! It has extra fun features too for calculating character ascension and such 👍
I started a month ago when i started playing Genshin Impact. I'm currently saving for Furina but i also want Kokomi, Navia, but i also want Nahida. Who should i save for???? (Im also an F2P)
You can't go wrong with any of those picks! It all depends on the elements/teams you enjoy playing. I happened to really like hydro & dendro chars, so my main team became bloom. Nahida is the best dendro character if you like bloom or hyperbloom teams. Kokomi is a great healer and works well in bloom/hyperbloom also. She is super easy to build and use, and I might be biased but I'd say go for her asap. Navia is super good without high investment too! My sister plays her with Bennett/Xiangling/Noelle and she is a very beginner-friendly and flexible damage-dealer. I don't know much about Furina except that she is a powerful character for meta and I am also going to save for her when she reruns! One thing about Furina is that she works extremely well with other Fontaine characters like Neuv and Wrio due to hp mechanics, but she also requires a healer like Kokomi. I'd say all of those are good picks, and there will be a while until Navia/Nahida's reruns (they had banners recently) so since Furina & Koko will be around soon you could prioritize them. Navia/Bennet/Xiangling/Noelle is exactly one of my former teams for abyss as well, until very recently actually when I got a new 5* Great combo for early game, all you really need is a somewhat built Navia and enough energy recharge on Bennet, carried me through abyss floors 9-11 and still does even though I've put much more resources into my second team by now. I do have Bennet c1 though, idk how well it would work with c0
Furina 100%. She can walk on water, and she can do both pneuma and ousia for all those Fountaine puzzles. Plus she heals if you're randomly low. She's F2P friendly because the pipe (fishing weapon in Fountaine) is really good for her. In terms of power, she's the best character in the game. She has the DPS of Xiangling and the buffing of Bennett, as long as you have energy and a strong healer. Her artifact domain is resin efficient because you usually want both sets. Nahida is the second choice. She can grab fruits and flowers from far away. I take it for granted until I take her out of my party, and then I realize I'm so spoiled. She's the best dendro applicator in the game and has decent damage and buffing as well. The 3-star Magic Guide is decent on her. Artifact domain is also resin efficient. It seems that Hoyo has made sure that all of those things (exploration, power, artifacts, and f2p friendliness) are true for the archons. So I'd get Furina, and save for the Pyro Archon and Nahida. If you're f2p you might be able to squeeze in one more 5 star, but if you want a guarantee, I wouldn't risk it.

C1 xiao is not worth it if you dont have either xianyun or C6 faruzan. So if i was you i would pull xiao then faurzan C6 or staff of homa. Thats what i did. Got xiao didnt want wanderer so pulled staff of homa then pulled faruzan on xianyun banner.
Do you have any 5 star weapons or cons? When i started playing i lost 3 50 50s in a row lost on nahida banner and got mona lost on alhaitham banner and mona again then took a break then in 4.0 lost on zhongli banner and got qiqi and in standard banner when i started the game i got 3 weapons skyward blade skyward harp and skyward spine recently skyward atlas. Do you think this luck is bad? I currently have hutao(7 pity) scaramouche(78 pity)neuvillette (38 pity guaranteed) furina(78 pity)(50 50) furina c1(18 pity)(50 50) ayaka(61 pity) (50 50) jean (75 pity standard) qiqi (76 pity standard) and lost 50 50 for chiori and got jean (c1) and then guaranteed kazuha at 78 pity. Skyward Atlas(78 pity standard)I started playing on dec 31 2022 and now i have 17 5 stars c1 mona', c1 qiqi, c1 jean ,c1 furina,hutao,scaramouche,neuvillette,ayaka,kazuha, Skyward blade,spine,harp,atlas. My other f2p friend who played for 10 months has like 10 limited chars and 2 signature weapons for kazuha alhaitham plus standard banner 5 star chars (besides dehya and diluc)
Ooh, that does sound like pretty bad luck for you with losing so many 50/50s and also not getting very many earlies. I have gotten Aquila Favonia, Mona, & Jean on Standard. Plus since making the video I lost on Kazuha's banner and got c1 Jean 😅 I also tried weapon banner and got Lost Prayer, so I have only two 5 star weapons on my account. Some accounts seem cursed with bad luck while others get only good luck. I have a friend who lost 5 fifty-fifties in a row, and another who lost four in a row. My sister has won more times in a row than me- I think 6, and she has only been playing for 6 months. My account was definitely super lucky in one year of playing. I have 6 limited characters, including Xiao C2. My standard chars are Tighnari, Qiqi, Mona C1, & Jean C1. Someone else might not reach the point my account is at in a year if their luck isn't good. It's a gacha game after all 🤪
Sounds like decent luck to me ngl. But either way just have fun and don't focus too much on others, there'll always be someone with even better luck. And with how bad weapon banner is as a f2p, those 5* weapons you got on the standard banner are actually great. Besides, after my 6 months of playing and losing all 50:50 but one, idk if more luck pulling would even help much, with how long it takes to level talents and get artifacts on someone. Unless my artifact luck is just equally terrible. Out of my four event 5* characters, one is solid (lacking the elemental goblet though), one definetely needs improvement, one is genuinely bad and the fourth is just criminal, I couldn't get a single good artifact for her yet, gave up for now, after a month almost exclusively in that domain... Besides them I got two more good builds on Mona and Charlotte, and three half-heartedly thrown together 4* characters so I could at least have two teams for abyss
@@see3655 i was just fine with the luck. The only thing i regret is not getting zhongli he is my favourite char plus my acc needs him. After i lost the 50 50 on first acc i made a second acc and farmed from 0 to 78 pulls in around 5 days while also playing on main and lost 50 50 again and unlocked mona on my second acc too and the banner ran out before i could get him on 3rd acc

at the beginning of the year i made a list of goals i had for my account over the course of the calendar year. im curious what your goals are for your account? do you have any plans to pull for certain characters or weapons? any supports or various other teams you would like to build eventually?
What a great idea! I know long term i want to 9 star floor 12, but thats going to take a lot of work. 100%-ing regional exploration and finishing all quests is also a major goal of mine. I do have a general list of characters I want. I am going to prioritize Zhongli, Furina and Xianyun to buff my Xiao team, Shenhe for if I want to properly use Wrio, and of course the 4 star characters I'm missing. My other silly account goal is to collect all red-haired characters, so that would include Diluc and Childe. As for weapons, I wouldn't mind getting Nilou, Alhaitham, and Xiao's signatures but thats a big investment lol. I'm currently building Fischl and Shinobu for hyperbloom and Collei for an alternative bloom team comp. Eventually a Navia team would also be really fun! What about you? 😄
Our character wishlists are very similar! I’ve been playing since 2.8 while buying welkin and I have a Cyno team (Cyno, Yelan, Nahida,Baizhu), a Xiao team (Xiao, Faruzan, Xianyun), and a Navia team (Navia, Fischl, Bennet, Zhongli). As far as characters go, I only want Furina, Wrio, and Shenhe, as well as the pyro archon whenever they get released. I want to build my Xiangling and Xingqui and Kuki better at some point but at the minute they’re on okay-ish builds. I want to be able to 36 star the abyss, but I’m currently stuck on 33-35. I mostly play because I enjoy the character-building aspects of the game so I’m super behind on quests so I want to catch up with that and decorate my teapot! Exploration is also an eventual goal of mine but I’m taking it slow. I just 100%ed all of Monstadt.
Oh yeah! Pyro archon is coming up soon! If she has red hair then that is an automatic yes from me lol. I have heard good things about Cyno and might consider pulling for him one day. My friend who coached me through the first few months of playing made sure I built Xiangling, Bennett and Xingqiu early because they are such good 4 star chars.
