happy to be back from japan im so physically tired, but my brain has so many things i want to do this year, twitter.com/tuont0 twitch.tv/tuonto discord.gg/tuonto
As a korean, I’m so glad that the Korean va’s are finally getting the attention they deserve! They’re honestly amazing, especially xiao with that deep voice 😏
@@rachellee2680 to be even more fair Sucrose is literally just sugar so I guess thats a good point... but still I find it more wholesome to call someone 'Sugar' rather than 'Sucrose'
@@minty3884 well that could be debateable because mainly the VA's pronounce Xiao as 'So' (cow) and Baal as 'Bal' (foot) due to their accent. In the case of Sucrose, the VA in the voiceline says "soltang" which is literally sugar in English as opposed to pronouncing Sucrose as 'sukeuros'
한국어 더빙으로 플레이하는 외국인이라니ㅋㅋㅋ 영어를 잘 모르는데도 재밌네ㅋㅋ 한국인으로서 한국어 더빙이 제일 익숙하고 어울린다고 생각하지만, 다른 더빙들도 매력적이라고 생각해용 :) I can't believe I'm a foreigner playing Korean dubbing lol It's fun even though I don't know English very well lol As a Korean, I think Korean dubbing is the most familiar and suitable, but I think other dubbing is also attractive :)
For real! That man has some serious range. I've seen him voice brooding, serious characters like Diluc, then suddenly turn around and voice upbeat, energetic characters like Ryouta (Hatoful Boyfriend) and Knight Cookie (Cookie Run Kingdom.) He can sing too!
I’m korean,I’m really happy korean VAs are finally getting the attention they deserve and I really appreciate you posting this video! Thanks for all your hard work for this video ❤
honestly Korean dub has some of the best VA in whole Genshin. Hu Tao, Bennet, Kazuha just to name few... and Paimon!! I actually like her VA so much, she puts so much personality into her role that it makes me genuinely laugh sometimes
Korean is one of the languages I can actually read, and I do understand like 80% of it (thank you k-dramas lol) I did play the game for a bit in Korean but I switched back to Eng game lang and Japanese voice over still it's quite fun playing in other languages
lol korean have like a LOT of formal stuff in the language, I do playsd in kr dub and eng sub and it's just so soothing and also when cyno and alhaitham was fighting it was in asmr and I was almost asleep AHA
thank you so much for showcasing the korean dub for genshin!! the korean voice acting scene is actually very developed since korea embraces animations and manhwa, and japanese anime and stuff are very popular here! it makes me sad that it gets really undermined : ( this made me very happy
As a korean I am happy to see tuonto playing in korean dub Also the korean VAs recorded a korean dub for the Genshin song "Let the wind the wind tell you" its rlly cool and I suggest listening to it even you dont understand the lyrics or whatever theyre saying
YES! I'm so happy to see the Korean VAs being showcased on Tuonto's channel. They're so talented and not as talked about in the Genshin community. Razor, Kazuha, and Itto are my personal favourites. 10/10 recommend experiencing the game with the Korean voice-over!
As a person who lived in korea for 2 years and had to learn korea from scratch, I don’t understand a word when I play genshin in korean since its been almost 5 years since I came back from korea 😭😭
Bro in english ver when hilichurl's scream it sounded normal.. But when he switched to korean it sounded like yaaaaahh😂😂.. commonly used in kdramas when someone is annoyed
I played with korean dub ever since the beginning of the game and I really love their voices and very soothing! So many Korean VA that I like voiced them too hehe
At first when i heard korean, i was like "nah it cant be that good right?" and when i heard this, i am shocked especially xiaos korean va like wth he sounds h o t af i cant omg
I'm definitely biased, but the Korean VO is an underrated but solid one. I've been using it since my first week of playing and the only voice that's been a miss for me so far has been Gorou. The KR dub made Gorou sound very young for some reason; they gave him a youthful shounen-like voice like Venti, despite every other dub making him sound like a young adult. I also think Yun Jin and Kaveh were somewhat miscast. There's nothing wrong with their line delivery or voices themselves, but I just don't think it fits their characters. HYV said they would try finding dialogue voice actresses for each dub that sounded close to the opera singer who does Yun Jin's singing, but for the Korean dub, I don't really hear the resemblance... Korean players have also commented that KR Kaveh's voice is kinda... bland? He sounds a lot like the people who voice the NPC civilians, so his dialogue doesn't stand out much especially when in the same scene as Alhaitham, Cyno, etc. I also don't like certain lines from Yaoyao, Venti, Xingqiu, and Childe (but Childe's KR VA is a streamer I'm pretty fond of so he gets a pass), though it's more about their line delivery than their actual voices. Otherwise, my favorite KR dub voices are Zhongli, Raiden, Alhaitham, Ganyu, and Nilou. I also love watching non-KR dub users get absolutely FLOORED the first time they hear Xiao, Thoma, and Ayato because they sound so much older than the other dubs. Paimon is also done by one of my favorite Korean VAs and she has a really lovely regular-speaking voice during special event programs too. Thank you for the vid! KR dub absolutely needs more recognition!
I've always been playing with korean voiceover. I really like it and I think that korean voiceover actors made the best work with expressing characters' personalities. It's actually sad that people don't really play wirh korean dub 'cause it's sooo good
When i'm not doing the archon quest, Korean is what I play the game in. It is awesome. Kaeya's laugh makes me lol very hard hearing it and Heizou sounds like he's trying to be a Michael Jackson wannabe XD
Woooww~ are you play tears of themis too? Artem's my fav male lead btw and barely realized that he's voicing ayato too, made me simp over him so much 😊
Korean dubber here. I personally think the Korean language is the most pleasant of the 3 Asian languages. The voice actors fit very well with each character. I think Fischl was my only complaint tho lmao.
welcome back from japan!! take a tiny break for your wellbeing and you'll be back at it again!! once again, welcome back from japan!! hope you had tons of fun there :)
As a non Korean that adores the KR dub I'm happy to see the appreciation at last. If not for some characters I like better in JP, KR is *chefs kiss* so good. Oh yeah, and KR HU TAO FOREVER.
I’ve noticed some good old Mystic Messenger fans here so for those who wanna know who share VAs: Kang Jaehee: Chongyun and Signora V: Baizhu Rika: Shenhe Kim Yoosung: Xiao
As a Tuonto Korean fan, I clicked this video as soon as I saw this thumbnail lol It's always soo fun to watch people's reactions when they first heard the KR dub I'm so glad that KR voice acters are getting more interests I just love their dub XD
this is so funny to watch lmaoooo i've always played w the kor dub bc i've been learning it for a long time now, but when i try to change the entire game to kor.... yeah, that doesn't go very well. hard to find a vocabulary collection on gaming
When I started play genshin first lauguage I choose was Korean and it's really great, I hope more people will recognize how good Korean's VA is awesome
I read, albeit with some difficulty, the kr words in the thumbnail and found the word "구독하다" amongst all the "원신"s (meaning yknow, "Genshin") "구독하다" means subscribe. But in Korean. You win this time Tuonto.
As a Korean in America, I don't know or understand Korean only bits and pieces but been hearing it all my life so I always find it trippy when hearing it in games, but glad to see you playing it, this was hilarious seeing you try to understand Korean
The way I'm so confused by your new video, thinking about the last time I watched you saying you're leaving for a month and now you're back lmao I didn't even feel like one month passed after that 😭
