my first VR experience is when I got this bootleg VR thing and I just rode 360 roller coasters. It was fun but it caused a lot of headaches, and I already got super sweaty while wearing it, which doesn't happen when I wear my Oculus Rift now

My first ever vr experience was on a jurassic world vrse and it was honestly pretty good, it even had a controller and the headset didn't suck as much as the cardboard there was also a batman version but now it was removed from the play store but what did suck is that I think you needed to buy each headset for both games

I actually used to use a Google Cardboard in replacement of a standard PCVR headset way back when before I got my quest 2. It sucked, but at least it worked lol

It was my first vr experience and I was like 6 or 7 something like that. And for me it was awesome. But it was just because I never saw a concept like that before like you are in your phone I've watched a lit of yt video's on it. But I'm going to buy a quest 2 now. I'm super exited!

My first experience on VR when I got the "VR Box" is I played Battlegun VR but the VR box came with a controller remote thing which wasn't included cuz the VR box was passed down from my brother so what I did was I took the phone holder with the phone playing the game and slightly peek it out so I can click on the screen. But the time I got a Controller. I was DOWN BAD to play Battlegun VR since the controller came with a phone holder clamp thing and I would INSTANTLY play it.

For a VR headset that you can literally make yourself it's not going to be good but for like a little kid that has been desperately wanting a VR headset. it's fine

Here is what happened. Before i get to that, let's be thankful for Google Cardboard as it dawned this current era of VR. in 2014 Oculus was struggling and bumbling around with terrible prototype headsets and complicated software that was crippling the current generation of VR. Hence the sale of Oculus to Facebook that year. Google Cardboard was a brilliant idea to get VR into the hands of everyday people to gauge interest and whether it would be plausible to develop VR for consumers in generel. Something that was still not known in 2014. Here is what went down. When Facebook, Sony, and HTC released their headsets in 2016, they were not ready. Niether PSVR nor Rift had actual VR controllers. The Rift used an xbox controller and the PSVR used Move controllers. They stumbled out of the gate. BUT, somehow someone out there thought it was a good idea to push products onto the world stage that were still experimental at best. Suddenly, more headsets from unknown manufacturers began popping up. Rather than fleshing out the mobile experience on Cardboard, companies began peddling high end devices that required expensive gaming PCs to ride the wave of VR fever and were only interested in selling as much tech junk as they could. It turned into a global cash grab and to this day, thieves like Pymax are a oerfect example of people who don't give a shit about VR and are only interested in selling you LIES... Had Google not givin up on Cardboard the VR environment would be vastly different today with better headsets, wider FOVs and most importantly, BETTER GAMES AND EXPERIENCES...

my first vr concept was when i was 3, my dad flies drones, the drone he used to fly is mine now. it comes with this headset and a remote to connect to it, the remote was like a ps it xbox remote. butttt I would get my dads phone, go on youtube, and play rollercostars. i was smart when I was 3 cuz I would spy on what my parents did loll (I have quest 2 noww)
