It's certainly nice to see it going in the right direction. Currently I'm frustrated with the quests, the ambiguity of the objectives and the fact that crashes reset all your quests' progress (happened to me during Hazardous Treasures, a long ass mission requiring access to multiple key-locked rooms). Really hope these fixes keep coming. I'd expect nothing less since it is what they promised, but I'm surprised to see they're delivering thus far. Hopefully they touch on the AI a bit more next, I would love to see them taking cover instead of side-strafing and headshotting me like a CS:GO player.
The quests are about as clear as they get for an extraction shooter . Just read the description and play the game slowly , its a milsim not an adventure game
really it's inevitable. Magnified scopes in video games are always gonna drop fps because your pc renders in even more objects on top of the ones you see not ADS'd and at a better level of detail. it doesn't help that GZW uses picture in picture scopes, which pretty much renders the world and objects again, albeit on a much smaller space
once you reach lvl 3 traders there isnt anything to do. What really needs to change for me is more guns or something that i can chase. performance is good but i really want something to do lol.
Yup, I maxed all my traders n then put the game down, I have nothing to do so haven’t picked it back up in weeks tbh even tho I loved my time w the game. Now nothing to do with
Yeah I basically stopped at Lvl 15 to allow time and to help my friends get up to a higher level before I continue. I noticed early that there’s no endgame so I’m just pacing myself I guess
Maybe add weekly tasks that unlock special items or weapon attachments 🤷♂️ black market trader thats live on the map like dayz but with some sort of AI preventing campers
He said it in the video, he is recording in two different resolutions and streaming while gaming. This game is CPU heavy and all this... 40 - 50 frames are OK.
@@milanmottl8983 lol no. It's not okay. Combined with the fact that we can't change our ADS sensitivity, it's actually quite bad. If you have a PC that can handle 100 fps, it's playable. But it's still not 'OK.'
@@milanmottl8983 This is a dumb comment bro, the PIP rendering of the 2nd image while scoped in has nothing to do with him recording or any of that BS. Hes saying the FPS doesnt drop when he scopes in, and in fact it does. But it does in nearly all games with zoom scopes, the way Squad handles this for example is they allow you separate settings for PIP resolution/details etc to combat the drastic FPS drop.
@@MaxiimTribe Streaming takes a lot of CPU and if he is playing a game and streaming the game does not have all the CPU for itself but only what the streaming doesn't use as streaming is often higher priority. Also he is recording in two resolutions. It doesn't take a lot of CPU but it will take some and with combination of streaming, double recording and gaming in double picture.... What are you even talking man. Of course he would have better frames without streaming and recording .
So recently I’ve gotten kinda hooked on these extraction style shooters. Between Stalker Anomaly/GAMMA, Grey Zone Warfare and Incursion Red River it’s hard to put my mouse down ! Grey Zone is some of the most fun I’ve had in a shooter for years. Incursion is also great just less content than GZW so far. I have high hopes for GZW if it continues to develop as it has thus far. I’m running an i7 8086@4ghz, 16 gb ram, Gigabyte 3070ti. I have the framerate capped at 60fps with everything on Epic except shadows on medium. Nvidia DLSS with DLAA on, boost + also on. Game runs smooth as butter 99% of the time. One weird bug I’m experiencing however is the volume gets lower when I take off my characters headset and louder when I put on the headset 🧐 Aside from that I really really like this game. Thanks for the update brother !
It’s due to amplified hearing in the headsets so that you can better hear enemy footsteps/chatter. When I have mine on irl I can damn near hear a fly sneeze, while still protecting from gunshot level noise
like mazzty said. the headset you wear isn't just for show. real soldiers wear those as well. it basically is there to filter loud noises like gunshots, while allowing you to listen to the quiet sounds.
I really want to see the AI react to being shot in the neck, legs , arms ect by stopping to heal or going down for a second instead of a slight bump animation and then acting like nothing happened. Perhaps some suppression of AI possible as well, oh and also making silencers make some difference on the AI, perhaps AI should have to report your location or general location for other AI to come at you
Yeah… I totally agree. Today I was sneaking around the bushes in midnight saphire. There were 2 hostiles guarding a villa like 200m away. Shot one in the head and the other one spotted me instantly, allthough I was hidden between trees and bushes. This is ridicoulous and stealth gameplay is broken.
My setup AMD ryzen 5 5600x , rtx 4070 on 1440 with dlss on auto and always around 110fps. The only issues i have are connection related issues. Especially on EU west servers .Most of the time i still have all my gear, but last week i lost my mk18. The message i got was " can not synchronize your game progression". But besides that , i fucking love this game. I was not aware of the frame drops when scoping in.
my biggest gripe with this game: >shoot an AI from easily 200+ meters out with a suppressed .308 >AI instantly knows EXACTLY where i am >AI full auto hip fires 12 rounds at me from said 200+ meters out >10 rounds connect and either kill me or damn near kill me >If not dead, entire enemy force knows my precise location as if i handed them a 10 digit grid on where i would be before i started the engagement super frustrating in a game thats supposed to be "slow and methodical" in approach of most tasks.
I have tried each new Public test beta but unfortunately this one I just keep getting booted when joining server and getting a Network error on every server.
Performance increases will help the game massively. I recently upgraded my GPU from a 3070 to a 4070super and it completely changed how the game felt and played. It sucks that the current solution is to go spend $700, but it DID work lol
@@Thamb0 5800X3D. The GPU upgrade moved me from 2k 40-50fps on low everything with FSR, now I'm maxed settings, DLAA/DLSS, well over a constant 110fps. Massive game changer.
@@Thamb0 Why would u upgrade a 12700k… that’s an awesome processor and it is still one of the best. Upgrade the graphics card, as the 8GB 3070 is the bottkeneck in this game (shouldn‘t be, because thats a good card…) but this game needs a lot of vram. I upgraded from a 3070 to 4070 ti super (needed more vram for virtual reality as well) and the game has gone frome average 50-60 FPS all LOW settings to 140-150 FPS all high.
This game was awesome but suddenly my frames are dropping. I turn the corner face to face with an NPC and the game freezes and then unfreezes when I'm dead. I have a ROG with i7 12th gen and a 3080 graphics card like WTF else do I need? I can't Play.....
The scope will probably stay the same and the fps too , the servers will be better , if you like the game it’s time to upgrade , this is a next gen heavy game .
Are there repeated missions to make money? Or when you are done with missions no more money flow? Selling to vendors gives next to nothing compared to cost of things
There are a few safes with cash at the villas in midnight sapphire. You‘ ll get 5-6000 Dollar out of it. Besides that, you can go for the enemy optics. That‘s the most effective way to get money, in the current state of the game.
But with frame gen on... without it you are in around 60 to max. 70 FPS. I personally don't have any problems with frame gen but some people say they can see a big delay.
@@milanmottl8983 I had a 2080 recently, and frame gen was only playable in FSR. FSR is terribly unstable and I would have constant issues with artifacts, extreme hitching on choppers and would crash semi-frequently. Frame gen also introduced heavy input lag. I think that's because I could only get about 45 fps without it. With it, I'd get 70-80, but it would have to be on performance mode and all settings on low. I'm now using DLSS with frame gen, with a 4070 super. My input lag is acceptable with low latency boost on. Probably because my native frame rate is much higher. No graphical issues with DLSS. No crashes outside of servers going down. FSR just sucks.
Yea the increase in frames on tts doesnt count. Last time people said they had more fps on tts the update on the actual servers did nothing for performence
I was gonna wait till next year and buy it again but I just rememebered that GTA6 will almost be out by then loll. They taking too long to fix simple problems.
@@GmailNexus i know, i have put over 200 hours in and have over 4kh in tarky, ik what an alpha is. but even for an alpha it was released too soon, like 6 months too soon imo, and apparently most content creators opinion too. they released it due to the bsg drama which was a bad business decision for sure

I kinda wish they would have launched this on unreal 4, and moved it to unreal 5 when they get in stable and ready. I think it still would have looked great and would perform way better on unreal 4, Looks like I'll need a couple more updates before returning. Sucks too, cause I love the game and even bought the supporter edition to support it. Was really hoping for a better performance update than this, And I'm running a 3080ti so on FSR the game runs great, Stopped playing when I got to Tiger Bay and saw the performance and the AI, was really hoping that would have been addressed better.
@@calebnorrick7676 30 series doesn't have dlss frame gen, so he's probably using fsr frame gen. It looks worse obviously but is smoother than no frame gen.
@@Maddog0608 buddy, if you’re lagging in tiger bay using fsr, there’s something wrong with your pc lmao. I have a worse graphics card and run 70-80fps in 1440p med settings with dlss on. FSR doesn’t work as well as you think buddy.
The AI was honestly unacceptable for my preferences so I had it refunded after about an hour and a half of play but I REALLY want to pick it back up. I just can't justify it until I see some serious improvements to AI behavior. Their tankiness or accuracy is easier to fix honestly. The actual way they move, interact with the world, etc.. that stuff was just so bad.
I’m no expert but wtf does running obs and twitch have to do with your graphics card? That’s your ram that should be handling those duties not your graphics card. Hmmm
Most modern Graphics Card can do Encoding much more efficiently than CPUs, i.e. Nvidia Cards have a dedicated unit just for it, called NVENC, then there's Intel iGPU's QuickSync & AMD's VCE. Many Streamers prefer modern Nvidia Cards due to very good AV1 Encoding since 30 Series.
Im watching the footage here. I don't know if this is from the test server, but you drop 40-50 frames every time you scope in. Maybe you don't notice it much because you're already pushing ~140 fps and not dropping below 60... but 40-50 fps is still a substantial drop

Have not been hitting the game daily lately. But i like where it’s going. Have seen a lot of games that did not update like this. Still having fun with it.
I beleve they need to remove the instant "you get them onpoint they sidestep" that feels so damn random and to "botlike" they are aiming for hyperrealistic game plz remove that
I have a beast of a rig. No issues with running the game myself. Already enjoying this game sooo much. Every update and addition is just gonna get me more and more immersed. Love it!!!!!!
Hats off to the dev team, they're defo putting the work in to get the game as stable & optimized so to have as solid of a foundation to build on...I'm still having fun with the game, even though many say there's a lack of content, which I can agree, but I do feel GZW is a marathon and from playing other games in perpetual development, I feel this game has a structured game-plan to fulfill its potential.
your frame drops are till huge when ads'ing. i use a rtx 3060ti and i get on average 60-70 fps but i don't see any video issues. no lag no tearing, nothing. so for me the game plays just fine. my biggest gripe is the AI. they need to make the AI dumber and less accurate. the military AI should be abit tougher but the street thugs, especially the ones that wear the yellow noise cancelling headsets, should be toned way down. it is great to see the devs working on these issues though. key drops would be nice, have a few missions that require keys but I don't have time to grind for keys all day long. good video sir.
I haven’t been able to justify getting back on since I hit 35 after a week and a half, just haven’t felt it. Been enjoying tarkov after a couple years off. Only a few cheaters
from what i see in your vid you still got a big frame drop by zooming in like from 155 to 115 (what makes no big difference but it makes something when you have less frames)
The CPU and the graphics card are still fine. The problem is the 8 GB vram of your 3070. This game is very demanding, when it comes to vram. Went from a 3070 to a 4070 ti super (16 GB) , because I needed an upgrade for vr, too. The game went from an average 50-60 fps ALL LOW to 140-150 FPS all high ( Dlss3 Quality)
I'm not sure if it's the UE5 engine or just poor optimization but this game heats my GPU up like fu@king crazy. I have A water cooled 7900xtx and the second I launch the game my GPU immediately hits 40c. The inlet coming from my gpu on my radiator is almost too hot to touch and this is just on the start up menu where you pick what server and the mode you want to play. In game it doesn't really get any hotter so that's why I'm not sure if it's the engine or game . I get between 100-130 fps W/O garbage frame gen so frames aren't the problem it's just how much heat this game causes my gpu to put out. I literally have a space heater on while I play the game. Every other game I play the gpu doesn't go above 32c so just wondering if anyone knows if it's the engine or just optimization problems with the game
Cant wait to see how the ELCAN is for now. I quit playing because of the terrible FPS (being all over the place on a 4070TI), specially using the ELCAN was impossible, while hitting 100fps without it. Put it on and I got 60, down to 40 when ADSing... so hopefully something is done here
You seem like a decent dude.. but don’t compare your experiences with your 4090 and top cpu combo no matter what programs you run with the average gamer experience.. I group up with lots of different guys every night and always ask them about there system and how it runs.. most of all the guys I friended.. stop playing as it’s horrible.. my exp tells me the average pc is a ryzen 3 to 5 with a 1660ti thru a 3050… and it’s just not enjoyable exp..
Is anyone else crashing A LOT? I'm a new player and I understand there's a good amount of bugs but I've never crashed as much as I have this last week. Like I can barely play 1 hr without crashing to desktop... The other day I died, respawned in base....CRASHED... then when I loaded up I had the gear I just put on after I respawed... BUT I was at the location of my death..
Among all the needed fixes their doing I so hope that they’ll improve on the gunshot sounds especially in the world to at least give it some depth and character. At the moment it’s pretty junk, the should move to having it sound like Six days in Fallujah or Arma Reforer. But it’s still early days so if they keep this up it can only get better.
I’ve uninstalled this game a few days ago and won’t touch it again until major updates come out. They say things are fixed but yet we all still encounter the same bugs from launch my main complaint is it should not take 4 shots from a Mosin to kill someone with no armor it doesn’t happen all the time but when it does it it like what the hell. And the aim bot AI if they are 200 meters away or on the other side of walls or bushes it’s crazy.
I thought this was a good game but my pc cudnt run it , i had everything on low and on ultra performance and was getting less than 30fps with a RTX 2060. Game will have to sit on the back burner for me until i can run it again 😞
Yeah the AI is bs, too often im getting insta tapped by medium tier AI while tanking 20 shots from end game AI, its a little confusing and tedious, and thats coming from a 2000hr ex tarkov player.
They AI is not exactly better. It seems like they made an improvement to they’re movement and reactions to player actions like flanking, running and in my experience using suppressors on fire arms, I’d doesn’t seem that the entire starter town doesn’t know where you are anymore. But the aimbot still exist at a lighter scale, but is still in my opinion a big issue.
There is a bug for some players and it where you can shoot your ally’s but the enemy factions act like they are in pve mode like you can’t kill them if you get close enough it will show a white dot in your crosshairs meaning it’s registering you as like in pve mode you can’t kill other faction players and bullets don’t work idk what’s going on but this is my second time in two days where this has happened and we even tested it with another faction player I couldn’t kill him and he could kill me
Whatever they’ve done has rendered the game unplayable for me. Stopped playing for a few weeks. Played fine before and now it stutters so bad it’s unplayable
