I don't understand... if people couldn't upload levels, then what was there to play? I never played Mario Maker 1 on the Wii U or 3DS, but I love MM2. How would you play levels and what would be the point in taking the time to create one of mi one would ever see it? Seems bizarre.

@@TheOGNoName THe idea was you'd create and send levels to friends and stuff via local communication. You could also collaborate on levels directly, which wasn't directly possible in the Wii U version. I think they figured they could make more on Mario Maker by putting it out on their more popular system at the time. But as for the poster above you, The Wii U version sold more because it came out first, as well as having all the online functionality.

One of the hilarious things about SMM on the 3DS was the excessive amount of lag you could induce on the game, if you overloaded the screen with objects. 🤣

The mic Dave uses is the AT2020 USB, which looks like it is between 100-150

Wow, it's cool that you've been watching for that long! I'm also a long-time viewer. I would recommend getting some cheap microphones and testing them out so you can hear how they sound, and keep whichever one sounds best. Even cheap microphones sound perfectly fine in my opinion. Also you could check out Dankpods video about microphones. He's hilarious and also gives good advice. Hope all goes well for you.
