Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is an upcoming mobile game set to launch on October 30, 2024, for iOS and Android devices. This game aims to enhance the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) experience by allowing players to collect and interact with digital cards in a more accessible format their phone.
In this video I experience day one as a free to play player spending no money on anything. I'm curious after 30 days what my collection will look like and if my experience will drastically differ from my Pay-to-Play account. This video covers days 6-13.

No duel links and the art work is crap compared to this same with master duel I want a yugioh game where you open packs on rarity for example a common card would like like sword and shield and a URR card would be i dont know a blue eyes but the art work is on par with this game like that mewtwo art

Do you think you can track the cards in the wonder picks? Or do you think it’s totally random?

you can't. the animation is the same animation everytime, and "shuffles" them back to their original location.

the pick is predetermined once you select the lot to choose from. Just pick one of the 5 and pray. at the end of the day, free card is free card.

It’s been out in New Zealand since the beginning of October. A lot of people moved virtually to NZ to play earlier.

I keep opening different packs and am suprised i cant get a full deck... Maybe target one pack, get two of the same ex and going for supporter cards...

I think targeting one pack upfront is probably the best idea and either craft or wonder pick 2 Sabrinas. Most the packs have merit for some deck, so just go with your fav imo.

@@Dellroth I did got Mewtwo deck, minus one gard, in the first 25 pack along with wheezing line, Pidgeot line, koga, and dragonite. Then in the last 40+ packs from Charizard have been all over the place, besides the 2 full art Alakazam, but I have 2-3 top tier decks and a few fun/counter decks past those with half a Charizard ex deck in the works, no money spent. It's absolutely possible inside of two weeks to have 2 or 3 built out decks with minimal time invested, only about 35 or 40 vs wins. So like 3 levels/packs from time invested.

I think the global launch will mean you match up against a lot fewer whales by percentage, so your mediocre decks would stand a better chance. Especially if they release a ranked mode so you will just slot into a group of people that don't have stacked decks. It could be fun to craft decks using blah cards if you aren't constantly being matched against Mewtwo/Gardevoir decks etc.

Check your profile, and at the botton there are trophies, just check the “Opened packs” trophy

My other thought is, is there any kind of sensible light spender option? My general impression of "F2P" mobile games is that buying the premium currency is usually extremely inefficient and crap value, but that some games have a high value daily login pass/battlepass with decent value for $5 for so. If there's nothing that like and F2P feels bad then I think the game's an easy skip

There's a monthly $10 battle pass that lets you open an additional pass every 24 hrs. There are also a couple of missions and exclusive shop that comes with it giving an exclusive card and extra hour glasses. Easily the best value buy, but you have to wait 30 days for it to fully appreciate, which some folks wont want to do.

How much have you spent on the game? I rerolled and it didn't go well for me, so i created a second account on another device and i got the entire Pikachu/Zapdos deck in the first day lol. So now it's my only account. I've tried to buy but it won't let me. I'm thinking of throwing 100$ at the game on launch.

Ive spent a little over $300 USD on my main and am missing just missing a couple duplicates for a full playset. I was able to make 95% of the decks I wanted spending a little over $200 USD and a week of time.

I’m sure they will add a ton of stuff and have lots of events it’s just the soft launch they’re not gonna add anything new right now till official launch have patience.
