I first got a PSVR back in 2016. It was amazing at the time. I got a gaming PC, then I switched over. I played on rift CV1 for about 2 years. And this Christmas I got a quest 2 for whatever reason… not like I needed one anyway. But I’ve been playing on that with Link since. Overall: I gotta say that the PSVR is really cool for those PlayStation exclusive titles, but of course now it’s just completely outdated. Rift and Quest for me are in a tie. I don’t notice a big jump in resolution or refresh rate between them. However, the Rift is more comfortable overall, and will always have superior tracking. But being able to play beat saber or gorilla tag without a cable is pretty cool. And, a little controversial to my complaint of the Quest 2 comfortable-ness, it does fit my face better, and it tightens a little better for me. A mixed bag between those. Hope this helps anyone trying to make an educated purchase :)

Been playing since 2017 and played screen mode until mid 2019 when I got pcvr, and trust me, if you've never played screen mode, i really don't recommend trying it long term, (obviously) its super boring and overall ruins the experience of recroom, good for paintball and dodgeball tho lol. Edit: even if you get sickness when playing VR i still recommend VR, i personally never got nausea or anything but I'm pretty sure it's temporary for some new VR players and you will eventually start getting less and less nauseated until it's gone.

Im beta player and i have to say, i love this game!!! So much! I first played it on 2017 or a little early.. I miss so much play this game! I played every night on PSVR. Now im trying buy one quest 2 to play it free from cables and having freedom with powerbank.. i cant wait for mine arrive next week. Oculus quest 2 is probably one of the BEST ways to play Rec room. The ONLY downside I have with it is that you can't play Crescendo which is heartbreaking because we will never get to see the whip and it's mechanic.

1. there is no crescendo on quest, 2. the air conditioning bug is a bug that happens in glitched lobbies, not anything to do with the forbidden one.

Yeah, the quest has a really bad red cast. I had to use a different color Palette which makes red look pink, but I makes all the other colors look better.

It's eye opening listening to a person's comments after downgrading from index to quest 2. I was used to so much less on quest 1 before I had quest 2. Pixel density, frame rate, shadows, reflections, everything but color palate was upgraded (I miss the OLED display. :( )l for me, but it's sorta the opposite from the POV of an index user.

CV1 user here. A friend of mine has a quest 2, and when I tried it, the first thing that I noticed was the controllers. They feel fairly bulky at the top, but the bottom is kinda thin and too small for my hands.

Rec room doesn’t work on my quest 2 at all. I had downloaded to play but I can’t even create an account and it just shows these weird login accounts I had never created, idk how to fix it. I really wanted to play rec room.
