Man its so true about the old days when people just built what they want. I wish the game was still like that, I'm so sick of everyone being slaves to the meta. Sometimes I go on Zombie PvE servers just to build what I want & chill without the constant high blood pressure from PvP.

I love how wilijum uses calming Minecraft music during his videos, it’s fits his vibes.

The way its meant to be played has changed. I no longer enjoy rust but still have a lot of respect and appreciation for the devs. All good things come to an end.

How many remember the old you have some basic bp's but you had to get the rest system? Days of the og bus stop base. Zombies roaming around and people being much friendlier to one another. Raiding was what the trolls did... Those were the days.....

reminds me of one of my first wipes on vanilla. living between a river and Harbor in a quiet area. didn't do any raids or make it to t3 workbench, but it was a fun time and the base lasted the whole wipe.

This is how I play a lotta my wipes so it was really cool to see you do the seaside scrap lifestyle. Chill, farm the barrels and trade with folks. Even on some sweaty servers it's garnered me some decent times and friends. Thanks for this video man.

Something I realized in todays episode- Wiljum you've got a super "play by play" supportive "educational" style where you let people be a part of the games knowledge/ experience regardless of how much Rust knowledge a person has so the "what happened over there/ how/ by who" isn't a distraction from spending time in your experience, you provide the knowledge :) and the mentel environment for anyone to participate in the viewership, I think that might be why so many who've never played the game still follow along perfectly.

I just want to give my appreciation for the editing, particularly how farming sound effects always line up to the beat of the music. High quality work.

The treasure quest at the ranch/barn is also very useful. It costs 25 scrap, but the components you get from the treasure easily recycle into 150+ and it also often contains a gun. Very good way to start a wipe.

I love how he never placed a sleeping bag down in base for the first 15 minutes of the video.

i’ve played rust console for about 3 hours, i don’t have a scooby what to do, what things are, how to get certain things. however i’ve watched nearly every video this lad puts out. i don’t watch any other rust youtuber. just the music and overall aesthetic of how he edits lured me in 😂

This wipe brings back the nostalgic memories of legacy Rust. Traveling as far north up Everust Mountain as you could go, to the highest point with a nice green, flat spot to build a shack to watch the sun set and rise before heading out again. What good times those were.
