I Played Splatoon 3's Secret Hard Level

Oh man. Vic. You started at midnight. That is some dedication you got. After Alterna was very difficult and I can’t even count how many times I died trying to beat it. And I am glad you were able to beat it. The pain was worth it

I have completed After Alterna so I may as well give some tips to those trying to get through hell. General Tips: - Slow and steady, you have no time limit. - Squid Surge and Little Buddy are your friend. Little buddy is very useful for distractions. - Enable motion controls BEFORE your run! - Make sure to have most upgrades on the upgrade tree (You can do without all, I did that) Specifically for the octoling section: - Camp a corner and wait for the octoling to come to you. - Use corner ledges to protect yourself from specials like Jetoack - If you get overwhelmed or missiled, move to a corner and camp again. - It will take a few tries but you got this! Other sections are trial and error so make sure to learn from your mistakes Good luck!

Oh my god it's been almost 6 months since you played the Story Mode, we're not getting any younger here

I struggled more with the balloon segment than the octolings lol

This was definitely a challenge for me, I hadn't made it past the 1st section for a while, and when I finally did, I beat the whole level after many deaths, so satisfying

Here’s to side order being ridiculously hard! I want new players to feel the pain!

This is gonna be remembered as how Splatoon 3 added another chapter in the unfair book! (I don't know if that started before 2010 even though I would have added that galaxy's purple coins mission where you have one small minute to get 100 of those coins AND the star) BONUS: at 11:45 Vicvillon does become a Geiger counter! (don't hide from this, the Geiger counter does that sound whether you like it or not!)

Tbh, the most difficult thing about AA is that I can easily mess up and have to start over the section.

After Alterna, One of my greatest fears. :(

It was 4:00am on release day when I got to this level. The pain it caused me. I forgot about squid surging, spent way to long on the first level then played Mario karts accidentally and had to restart. The bear ears were worth it thou…

When I played After Alterna, I got so angry and frustrated on the last part, but I got through after many, MANY attempts.

5:10 For the one guy in chat asking you can beat this game without upgrades : YES! Yes you can, I've done it. I suffered on this secret level on the balloon segment for about an hour trying to shoot those down. Fast Fire rate carries that segment.

This was such a wonky mix of stress and smiles with plenty of whiplash between them. Those truly pog moments with the surge segments were something else. Hey guys…I think Vic might be onto something with that talk about 3 being special.

the first section was the hardest. But after I FINALLY managed to beat it, I didn't care how many times I died after cuz I knew I had a checkpoint now.

Ah, the memories of losing my mind on the target sections on a night where I had VERY early classes the following day. Listen, I wanted that lore and nothing was gonna stop me. Was cool lore, made the 3:00 AM suffering worth it :)

This actually gave me the motivation to beat After Alterna. I did it and finally got a hold of the secret log!

Vic starting at midnight is not a good choice, you will not sleep

I remember this… the game crashed on me during the last section… BUT I PERSERVED, VIC! And SO DID YOU! Anyone can do it!! (Seriously, congrats to anyone that bet this level.)

For some reason the first part of the level was the longest for me

Honestly, the level isn't too bad, the treadmill part is probably the worst since it is at the end of the first section, and the rails are annoying in general, rest is pretty smooth sailing

After Alterna = Hell but SPLATOON 3 EDITION

The on rails and last part were the most challanging. Makes me wonder how side order's secret fight will be

Every time I see this level I always wonder how I aced the ballon segment without dying.

Something about After Alterna that makes the simplest movement tasks so hard

I was about to FINALLY complete it, and then Nintendo said no and crashed my game, so I had to do it all over again.. after like 30 retries prob more lol Edit: congrats for beating it!!

I died to the last octoling in the last section. I wanted to snap my switch in half.

I am *so glad* Kraken wasn’t in the game when they made this.

I’ve attempted it about…. 15 times… (technically five but you get three lives and I never made it past the first round thing…)

Yay I'm not the only one who was blind enough to attempt this level at midnight It took me 3 hours. Half of it was spent on the last section.
