@@chaoticflorius technicaly you can go habsburg: when germany does rekindle imperial nostalgia, czechia/austria/hungary can do a decision that unites them and put otto von habsburg as their leader but i don't think austria will ever get a focus tree because for paradox it is "yeah whatever after two years of playing austria will disappear" (and then those mf making focus for ethiopia)
Just a little recommendation, for nations in which historical people don’t have portraits, use the supreme graphics mod, as it adds in several new portraits, one for example is for Arthur Seyss Inquart, who you had with a generic portrait the whole game. Just a recommendation though
I once played Austria and it was increadibly easy for me, because i got lucky and Germany went Kaiser (allowing me to form Austria Hungary easier) and Hungary for some reason got all their Territory back

Hey there, some advise for the future, you can literally just say no to pins. To do that: 1) pause 2) select the unit that is currently pinned 3) then order them to retreat somewhere. 4) after you did that, you will be able to order your unit to retreat into enemy territory 5) unpause and enjoy Blitzkrieg ^^

@@chaoticflorius hmm. Im a noob hoi4 player, barely 200 hours in, i thought about buying some dlcs when theres a sale but i browsed, read the dlc description and all they offer is focus trees and new plane/tanks textures. Nothing written about additional features

@@chaoticflorius yeah, but Austria has mountains and manpower and defend from anchluss is really easy. Even tho, there is a tactic you can take whole Italy like a puppet. And on Bhutan you have nothing, and no one to conquer BORING
