@@faruqabiodun4795 Elden Ring came out on February 2022, it's only been 1.5 years since release. for a mod of this size, I'll say it is pretty good time wise.
I suspect weapons like the moon breaker scythe will eventually get a unique look and ash of war. They wouldn't just give a normal scythe a fancy name for no reason.
i checked out the location of the moon breaker scythe because i wanted to use it for my build but it turns out it looks like they removed it, i’m pretty upset about it.
As someone who played a LOT of Druid in the DS3 Convergence, the Mystic is a lot like the tank aspect of it, while the Godskin Celebrant is the pure raw damage aspect of it. They even have the Druid's mortar spell that I loved
This mod also works incredible well with the Seamless Co-op mod. Some of the new mechanics makes it incredibly easy to fashion parrying builds despite exploring the same area.
For those who haven’t kept up with the mod since this: a lot of bosses have been added, some new spells, but still in Alpha. Scaling between the game and mod is still whacked, *on purpose*. Devs say they want to finish adding things before they scale everything. But it’s just gotten better since Toto made this videos
I've tried both classes, and the gravity class has a meteor spell that can do somehow even more dps than the mines, but it might not be as strong if you're able to set up the mines pre-boss.
As others have said, for an alpha this is insane Convergence in DS3 was awesome enough already but this is a full-blown DLC level mod, in *alpha* And we still have archthrones coming for DS3 which is just about a new game entirely, even has sekiro-esque parry mechanics, with world travel like demons’ souls
downloaded that mod a few days ago... i played elden ring to a point where i could play it with closed eyes.. but this mod is soo great..it was like a whole new game especially the bosses like margit and godrick finally felt like bosses and holy shit that graves in the beginning... no jokes cuz everyting was replaced to something that should be seen until mid/end game
@@tototriceps Dearest Toto, i just want to tell you, your videos are so amazing and always make my day, especially when i get overwhelmed by my schoolwork, i just put on one of your videos and watch it and i always feel better, thank you so much, you are one of the best youtubers ive ever watched, never let anyone tell you otherwise, may the Golden Order watch over you good sir
castle morne is like a fortress now with an outer wall surrounding it and a village inside, to get into the castle you have to beat an omenkiller and if you get to the back of it theres a new boss that is related to the frenzied flames
dragonkin minefield is the most obscenely powerful attack in the whole mod. Go up to a boss, aim at its foot, fire the mine, watch as it loses most of its hp to pure damage and frostbite, then smack the boss with a fire weapon and fire the spell again.
Sadly, after playing all the classes I must say, that I noticed the alpha state of the mod very much. Just look at the gravity class for example. The spells are way to overpowered compared to other classes. Eldenbeast took me 30seconds to kill with that class... XD
*Playing other mods;* "...I smell it... overhaul... Feed it me..." *The Convergence;* "More... I am not sated... Feed me more... classes." "More... I am not... sated... Feed me more... classes" *After you played all 27 classes;* "It is... it is all... consumed. Still., I am not sated... Not nearly sated..." "My thanks Mod devs... I shall grant thee... my Endorsement... Feed me... more..." This will keep me sated until the DLC is released.
Renna's Barrier is absolutely broken for anything human-sized. Constant knockback in an area means that you can utterly bully most of the evergaol bosses.
It's great but very easy to get super strong early, started off as a necro and was as deadpan at seeing my starting spells being deathblight, fia's mist and tibia summons, the worst spells in the game, but least deathblight is now a debuff... Still, second I found black flames the game went to easy mode, I think I killed the bosses of faram azula before godrick with all the teleporters that's been added in, and for nukes, I tried ire of the dragon god and went, well.. I guess I cast summon nuke. Still have no clue how to get into any of the towers where the two fingers used to power up the runes, still got more than half the game to go, holding off on killing rahdahn for just now and will settle for renala and godrick... and the new boss in the capital.
As a magic user in basically game i own, i would cream just by fucking around and finding out where the spells are and what they do. If there's anything i love in my Fromsoft games, its charging a giant ball of whatever and blasting a crater into some schmuck the size of Texas
is it just me or do enemies also deal a lot less damage? this mod seems to make Elden RIng more in line with a proper open world rpg game (apart from the quests and story of course)
i think that because you have a weirdly high amount of damage resistance, check yours when you play, i have close to 40% dmg resistance average with my godskin set, if im not mistaken
Patch notes: 1. No boss is more than 50% resistant to any single damage type 2. All armor now has passive effects. Each effect can be seen in the armor’s description.
Hey man, I had a question for this mod. Do you know why the scaling is a bit weird in some places in the game? I'm playing this mod right now and while the scaling is good for most of the open-world, I realized that some places such as the deeproot depths, especially Fortissax, and Vyke from the mountaintops are way too OP.
They changed stats for many locations and enemies for progression changes. If something is way too hard, you're likely either missing something or not meant to be there just yet.
Yeah if you can get the mod to work. I tried for 2 hours yesterday and got nowhere with it.followed the instructions on nexus mods nothing both older and 1.1
"this is like a dlc in a mod" This is actually just over tuned easy mode elden ring designed on "what if there was no challenege because were the main characters and should be anime level strong?" Its my problem with alot of mods. People say theyre like dlcs but in realitly they harshly clash with a main sellingpoint of the game so i just dont understand it. If you want it though go for it. just my opinion.
