Hi Umair, can you please answer a few questions to help. 1. I noticed that you are pushing long balls to the backhand in first set, can you share the tactic? 2. I see you you using simple serves, no reverse pendulum or pendulum. Is it something not captured in camera or is it your setup strategy for 3rd ball. 3. How do deal with a high ball on your backhand after you opened a backspin ball?
Quite Noticeable difference in serving tactic from pocket rocket between 1st and 2nd game. 1st came Pocket lost many points when doing backhand serve, his after serve footwork was too static and locked in the backhand position. 2nd game , ditched the backhand serve , practiced the pendulum variations, much better after serve footwork, dominated the game.Excellent.
Tom's body language becomes very negative. Something I recognise in myself. When it gets to this point nothing works for you. I sympathize with you Tom
You guys not in a TTD team? You both looked nervous in the first end. Tom struggled with some floaty balls, he seemed a little off. Great win for you, well done
TTD don't have a team in British League so we both play for other teams. Yeah we were both a bit cold in the first set. Only 2 mins to warm up as no spare tables.
