I Played the NEW Official Difficulty for Phasmophobia: Insanity Mode 

Imagine if they added an extra ghost for insanity mode and you had to find 2 ghost types

They need to add multiple ghosts on large maps. Imagine the carnage😂

Its so fun to watch when others play these games so calmly when I would be screaming :D

Betty White was so beloved by so many people. I've been waiting for her name to come up in one of Insym's videos. Her being a Deogen makes perfect sense to me. She just wants a hug and to make your life better.

As a person who likes numbers, I think, the devs adding a board in-game or on a website that tracks the stats for each map on each standard difficulty would be cool. Ex. Tanglewood, Amateur: survival rate: 90% Average income per mission: $20 Average equipment lost per mission: $15 Correct ghost: 80% Average objectives completed: 2.3 Perfect games: 10% It serves no purpose in the game, but it'd be cool to see how well the community did on certain maps and difficulties.

I've thought a lot about two ghost mode, consider: 1)Both Ghosts must share a single evidence 2)Both Ghosts cannot share the same type (As funny as it would be, you can't fight two twins [or quadruplets, I should say]) 3)Both Ghosts cannot share a favourite room. 4) When hunting, the Ghosts can either only hunt together or just one of them. In both situations, the grace period between hunts (the 25 seconds after a hunt where they can't hunt again, except the demon) activates, preventing a perpetually alternating hunt. I would love this so much, I can really only have fun on Nightmare or on crazy custom modes as of late. This custom mode/game type would make things so much more interesting and in a fun way. Some ghost pairings that stick out to me are: 1)Deogen and Revenant for their opposing hunt styles 2)Oni and Shade for the synergy of their abilities (I.e. Oni events cutting sanity harshly, Shades having a low sanity threshold) 3)Moroi and Banshee (If the cursed target is also the Banshee's target, the Banshee would be terrifying) 4)Jinn & Hantu (Damned if the Fuse box is on or off) This wouldn't be it's own difficulty persay, but a custom game modifier to make games more difficult. In my head I can balance it for 2 ghosts, but who knows? Maybe the number can go to 4, 1 ghost for each ghost hunter? Either way, I consider two ghost mode to be a MUST for the future of phasmo :)

New challenge idea: You can play the game normally but you're not allowed to comment on what ghost you think it is and only chat is able to choose which ghost to put in the book. (Nightmare Difficulty)

When I first started playing, I had been studying the game in-depth for over a year, and even then I was still bad at it, because while I had the know-how, I lacked in the execution department. Still, a lot of people liked playing with me 'cause they could leave the thinking to me while they did the things.

When I first started playing Phasmo a few days ago I rarely even left the van because I was so scared, but watching your videos has really helped me gain the confidence to be a bigger team player. I don't know if I'll ever play Phasmo as a single player game but you a huge help for cowards like me

I remember early phasmo when people thought you had to throw a crucifix at the ghost during a hunt to win 🙏

This is embarrassing, but my memory is REALLY BAD! I have to have a cheat-sheet to memorize the ghost's giveaways and secret abilities, like the early hunt percentages. It's so helpful when you give us little tips like "Moroi always has spirit box," and I appreciate you for it :) You make each of us better players.

Phasmophobia has changed so much since 2020, and its definitely better

I remember when I first started playing, my friends were telling me salt "killed" the wraith. So if a wraith stepped in salt, the ghost just disappeared from the map.

They should re-add Old Asylum but as an unlockable, for example; you bat the apocalypse challenge and you get to unlock the old asylum

I think they should make the hunts on insanity cursed hunt length _and_ they should add an easter egg of a used/broken cursed item on the maps, because then it's like another ghost hunter tried and failed here already

The frequent amount of roaming and changing ghost room is what makes this pre-set difficulty a challenge.

I have noticed that most of the time, banshees do not trigger motion sensor when they roam because they have a special roaming ability that allows them to walk all the way to the player. This happened for me many times on 20x difficulty because I could not get the bashee to trigger it even though they were way outside of their ghost room.

I didn't know that Deogen has forced spiritbox. So that means dots and book is an automatic thaye on nightmare. Good to know

1:29:08 Freezing Temps aren't bound to the ghost room. If it's an evidence, any room that the ghost spends too much time in can show Freezing Temps. It just so happens that that's usually the ghost room, but you can get Freezing in other rooms if the ghost is roamy enough, even rooms that are hard-coded to never be the ghost room.

I remember early phasmo days my friends and I did like a powerpoint night where we each presented something on a random topic and I did mine on phasmo. Looking back at the PowerPoint now (which was mainly based off the wiki as well as your and psychos videos) you can see just how bad the wiki was for false information.

Sunny Meadows is actually my favourite map even tho I'm not exactly great at the game I'm fine and always enjoy a Sunny Meadows game. I don't only play this map usually we just play random map to make it interesting and play every map but I really like Sunny Meadows

I remember seeing my first wraith or banshee ability on another RU-vid channel (I think) ghost spawned on top of him and hunted. He assumed since he used the ouiji board maybe that was some sort of possession ability that was in the game. This was like two months after the game was first released

The Yurei should have something more on top of the door slam ability to give it a flavor. According to the Phasmo book. If you smudge a Yurei, it wont leave its ghost room, which is something that can be missed. The Smudge stick may have an additional effect of the ghost being abnormally active, in a way that it’s clear that the ghost is angered. I hope that it makes sense.

the farmhouses are my favorite maps to play :) the only reasons i don't play them a lot is because my friends don't like the bigger maps and I normally play with my friends

Nice! Now we need something to spend all this money on, besides ghost-hunting items. Some quick ideas: 1 - New hunter and ghost models 2 - Hunter and ghost customization 3 - Item skins 4 - Truck skins 5 - Map skins

I would like to see a feature where flashlights have a battery that depletes the longer its on. Or an option to lave limited flashloght use in custom difficulty.

I didn’t even know about the deo spirit box and when I got it with my brother I thought it was a bug. My brother died since he didn’t hear the deo footsteps slowing down while we were hiding but the way we figured it out was from evidence not hunt

Challenge idea: no item, no life You can only have flashlights and you find out the ghost by doing ghost tests (sorta like no evidence challenge) HOWEVER, a cursed possession is replaced with 3 evidence finding items, and they all have a 50/50 chance of working. So you have to do tests to find out the ghost or get really lucky with those three evidences

As for me, usually to detect Yurei: Smudge the room and place motion sensor, they will triggered the motion so much Can you test it to make sure this can be a good method to detect Yurei?

I think the Banshee roam ability is counted by the abilities used counter, as well as the scream. Which is why it's so high.

There should be a new “blood evidence” where you can find blood via UV and items that may cause bleeding, such as a silver tripwire? Edit: I’d like to hear a recoiling/pinging sound and the ghost wailing from some tripwire cutting apart

it's been a short bit since I've played phasmo but two ghosts on one map? that sounds like a challenge! and you can get both ghosts to hunt at once, or have them do a shared ghost event. that would be awesome!!

1 evidence is the most enjoyable phasmo experience for me, but all the others factors in insanity are just there to make the game more inconvenient to play, making it less fun.

I always thought of would if 2 ghosts had the same 3 evidences, but the ghosts were complete opposites? (for example shade and demon) or if there were more fake mimic evidence kind of things, like freezing, and it would just be wayyyy colder than it should be. it would make people have to put in more effort to actually check the temp, rather than seeing your breath and leaving. anyways which lunch meat is the best?

Imagine if you could adjust % chance of ANY evidence appearing in custom settings So, i.e. 25% chance for not only Obake related thing with fingerprints, but all evidence appearing having customizable chance

I wonder where the 10% sanity pills come from? Also all content creators go above the 6x why? If you only adjust the difference in text compared to nightmare shown in the insanity sneak peek, its easy to go to 6x from nightmare settings. Just copy nightmare settings and change cursed possesions to 0 and evidence given to 1 nothing else and you have 6x.

The sanity pill change is very realistic because only hardened and experienced ghost hunters who have been doing this long term would take up these jobs, and their heavy use of the pills would have rendered their bodies resistant to its effects.

ı got great ideas like if they add hallucination like if you get below 25 or 10 sanity you begin to see someone staring at you on the doorway and when you see it it hides from you and another thing that they need to add is when our friend die we can talk with our dead friends with spirit box that would be great

Me and my friends only play nightmare and a customer difficulty called lightning we have normal speed no sprint ghost at 200, 0 sanity(sanity pills don't work) to start no fuse box but a kill will end a hunt the rest is normal nightmare levels

I know Sunny Meadows might be "objectively" better, but it "subjectively", it fails to capture the feeling of getting lost with friends that was so fun to do at least once per play session that the Asylum had. And no, it's not nostalgia. If you compare the two, the rooms at Sunny Meadows are different, so it's not easy to get lost there at all. The old Asylum, all that you needed was to get distracted enough to forget which side you came from, and with all the rooms looking so similar, you were lost, and hopefully the next thing you find is your teammate and not the ghost mid-hunt. It's literally a different experience altogether. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I would absolutely pay to have the old Asylum back as DLC. To be honest, part of me doesn't want to see gameplay of the old Asylum, because it's like a tease, "Look at this fun we are having that you'll never be able to have yourself again". But then again, most of me just wants to see more gameplay of it anyways. To be fully honest, I never play Sunny Meadows unless my team wants to or for the challenge. It's more gorey than scary, so I'm too busy feeling uncomfortable and nauseous to feel scared by the place. Being in a place that feels real, like any of the houses, and having these comfortable places be deadly dangerous due to a murderous ghost, that's scarier to me than a fantasy-looking place like Sunny Meadows.

I mean, maybe Insanity would become default for me if there was a cursed possession included but Ive tried doing it on custom and I soooo disliked not being able to play around with my sanity more XD We'll see once it comes out tho, maybe will time itll change.

I think Yurei needs a bit of a rework. With the recent updates/fixes to Obake and Onryo, Yurei may be the new hardest ghost to identify without evidence. Its abilities are too limited.

If the mimic didn't show orbs all the time but instead only some of the time or in response to some event it would make it much harder to identify it
