Imo jumps cares kinda ruin horror games, they're kinda cheap and stale by now. I really love atmospheric horror like this where that sensation of "oh sh..." lingers and only gets worse and worse!
@@FrozenSpaceYT most games that do jump scares just don't know how to implement them. i think the first FNAF game did it well but i can't think of any other games that did it good
Apparently the actual scariest game in the world is called "Lost In Vivo" people who make a living off of scary games says this is the one that is by far the scariest one because it takes all the horror clasics and puts it in one game and it gets scarier as you continue the game and apparently it put some people in the hospital because of the junp scares
I feel like most games with suspense are the scariest. They tease you and add sound effects to keep you on edge and this game was a great example of it.. edit: thanks for the likes
That’s the beauty and point of horror games. An uneasy suspense and tension throughout the entire game all coming to a head with jumpscares or what not
Good job on the RU-vid short for this vid, I almost never get motivated to watch a video but you got me with this one. I have to give credit where credit is due
Not to add to the flame, but I first heard the game from the RU-vidr “YuB”. I find him very entertaining, honestly my favorite RU-vidr. Edit: *ahem* besides sambucha, obviously. Ahem.
I fear the unknown more. I think this type of game is scarier for me to watch than most horror games. I went to a horror movie a few days ago and wasn’t spooked once. But this gave me chills. Just wish the ending was better
i love all your videos man.I would recomend a horor game called"pumpkin panic"i played that one time and i did not sleep in a few days.anyway love your video
As someone with photosensitive epilepsy, I’ll take a risk for Sam Update:I’m in the hospital… worth it 👍 Update2: apparently my kidneys are “overwhelmed” by “muscle breakdown” right now .. stuck til at least the weekend .. no regerts Update 3: getting out the hospital tomorrow … kidneys are fine.. and I WILL do it again for Sam
This joke doesn't even make sense, like are horror games supposed to be unfair? I'm so tired of these stupid copy paste jokes that aren't even remotely funny.
Like other people have said, I think you would really enjoy playing the Watson-Scott Test. It’s a personality/horror game that’s very intense. I’m sure it’ll give you more goosebumps than this one did.
Just to clear some confusion you have. First, the "./" the dot (.) resembles the current directory, the slash (/), e.g. /whatever, is the next directory (this is how you navigate in computer systems). All in all, it resembles a "path". Second, the "kill -f" kill is a very basic command that "kills" whatever targeted process (think of your task manager, but instead of using the graphical interface, you're issuing the command directly). -f is an option. Options are often prefixed with dash (-). -f typically means force. So you're killing a task, forcefully.
There is a game that isn't really scary from gameplay perspective but its implications still give me chills. The game is called "Defcon: everybody dies"
@@lamuzzo5120 yeah, I especially like how there are no jumpscares, just you, random sounds and dread as you realize that the "1.29 million dead" above your city means that any one of those dead could be you.

The scariest game I've ever played is 1v7 200% difficulty tiny map Homm3 as Inferno with Axsis as my hero. In a 1 hero only challenge. Mind you. I started off with 0 resources... and literally one of the worst heroes, in the most expensive faction, in a tiny map against 7 opponents that begins with resources. And while Axsis is a great hero in a bigger map, on a tiny map, no, on a tiny map a hero like Stronghold's Dessa, is way good, as he can basically move across the entire game and attack anywhere at any point, and assuming there's stone roads, you could literally walk from [0,33] to [33,0] which is 2310 movement points, and Dessa only needs to have a creature with the lowest basespeed and be level 16 to cross that distance. Anyways, it took me 20 hours to beat.
7:05 If you manage to complete the entire level (which involves the s-patterns forwards AND backwards), the game says “pro gamer unlocked” You still can’t turn around though
@@benjamincrew8383 nah the real shit is vr horror games even just things like phasmaphobia vr are still scary even though there mostly ghost busting games. Also another good one for the quest is Cosmodread it’s like alien but a lot more stressful and horrific because of all the environment sounds in your ear and just the whole mood is perfect for a horror game.
I'd recommend It Steals, it's a small indie horror game that I personally find very scary, basically you're in a basement with a monster and you need to find all the glowing orbs to win the level. The monsters are different on each level, they all have different mechanics and different appearances, though you won't exactly get a good look at them in the damn mazelike basement.
I want to teach you about grass. Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants. The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style. The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses, like bamboo can grow very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places, even if they are very cold or very dry. Several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family are also sometimes called grass; these include rushes, reeds, papyrus, and water chestnut. Grasses are an important food for many animals, like deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars, and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. Without grass, dirt can wash away into rivers (erosion). Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals. Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow. People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer. Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover roofs, and to weave baskets. In English, the word "grass" appears in several phrases. For example: "The grass is always greener on the other side" means "people are never happy with what they have and want something else." "Don't let the grass grow under your feet" means "Do something". "A snake in the grass" is about a person that will not be honest and will trick others. Grass is sometimes used as a slang term for cannabis (also called pot, weed, or marijuana) Hope this helps!
I know it'd be quite a time consuming idea, but one day I just NEED to see Sam play Doki Doki Literature Club, the jokes he'd make and the jumpscares he'd get would be GOLD
