I’ve played through this course more times than you can count haha. It really just depends when you go for conditions, but can’t beat the price. Also that Dog’s name is Calloway and he’s a badass
It's like you're playing golf through the fields and woods of my hometown (which isn't in Kansas, but looks a lot like this, even down to abandoned/collapsing barns), which is awesome. If the greens were in better condition, this would be a far more interesting type of golf to me than the traditional professionally manicured courses. Still fun to watch.
lmao I shank a ball in the beginning of a golf trip, get rattled for a week, take a lesson, and make a video about it. Trey shanks a ball and just says "oh my, how did that even happen" and moves on like nothing happened. There are things to be learned from Mr. Kennedy hahaha
You have to try out a place called Eco Golf Club in Hollywood Florida. Its a 9 surrounded by a septic plant in the middle of the florida heat lmfao it's my #1 worst course Ive ever played
While I agree the course is rough around the edges, it's come a long ways since the covid boom. The owner is probably the nicest you'll find who truly loves the game. Great place to go for last minute tee times given the KC area pretty much requires tee times set several days out anywhere else. Sod was updated in some places this summer. But with a one man maintenance crew, things take time. Don't expect much and you'll have a good time.
We were in the area to see @GoodGoodGolf on 6/3/23 this course had a tee time available. So we decided to play. Instant regret as we got to the first tee box. Learned our lesson on checking reviews before we book a tee time! Also. Sod never came. 😂
You have to come to Lakevillage, Indiana. Its a pretty huge sized 9-hole course called Leugene Links, but the conditions are awful. I would love you guys if you came to my home town and tried out the baddest green in northwest Indiana. Much love.
Oak Country Golf Course in De Soto, KS. Used to play there all the time when I lived in Lawrence, because I was broke and it was cheap. I always thought it was fun because it has tons of birdie opportunities. Also, an island green on a beat up executive course was hilarious to me
I played golf for awhile in a hinge brace, tore my ACL in my right knee. but after surgery and when I was able to walk with out crutches I was playing golf. So this sucks to watch but glad you out there man
I went there one morning and the course was empty, I called the number, and a guy answered, I told him I was there to play, he said just take a cart and pay when I did the turn and he would be in later 😆 it was worth the $20 I guess.
I play a course in Florida (772) with better conditions, touchscreen cart, 18 hole par 72 for $20. Wide open and challenging. The fairways will have some dry patches and high swing activity spots.
Mitchell's Golf Complex in Westminster, Maryland (just northwest of Baltimore). No difference between rough, fairway, green. Putting is like putting on legos. Nine par 3s, like an executive course if the executive was the CEO of a crack dispensary.
Jake is a pretty darn good golfer, and both Jake and Trent are very funny. Josh, if you check this comment, try Hickory Creek in Jacksonville/Gravel Ridge, Arkansas. It’s about 30 minutes northeast of Little Rock. Zero grass on the greens, but wonderful people there. The worst cobbled together carts you’ll find. 24 bucks. Also, John Daly’s course in Dardanelle, Arkansas, about 85 miles northwest of Little Rock. Basically sand “greens” with little to no grass. Beautiful countryside. $40.
I got one for you josh. Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Vintondale PA. One of the best for views but was terrible to play. I think you would have a great time with that.
Go to Liberal Kansas. Course is north of town. They tried to build a country club surrounded by houses but no development was ever started. This was 15 years ago. It pretty rough.
Are you talking about Liberal Country Club? The town has grown around it. There's also Willow Tree Golf Course which is north east of the airport on the western side of town.
@@nachobroryan8824 no there is another course north of town on 83. Can’t remember the name but I stopped in and talked to a guy in the club house 6-7 years ago.
Oak country golf course. I’m from desoto and I learned to play golf at this course. 3 aces after numerous summers of playing it. It has its ups and downs but I’ve played far worse courses in Kansas. In fact there is another one about a mile away which would be considered far worse.
This might seem like an anomaly, but I played a course in the Quad Cities (Illinois) called Indian Bluff, and the entire course was covered by June bugs. Like giant clumps of them almost everywhere you looked. And it was that way more than once. Worst experience EC ever.
Is that oak golf course??? No way I saw the title of worst course in Kansas and was like well there’s only one golf course that I would say damn oak golf course 🤣🤣
You guys suck. Come see the course now! You have no golf skills. The dog could make the fairway better than you loosers could. This is the toughest course in Kansas. You just suck at golf
Mulligans golf and games in south Jordan utah. Great practice facility but the courses aren’t great. The par three course is awful. The normal nine hole course is better but not great
Bro this course is like 15 minutes from me. I was thinking about playing here for the first time this weekend. Not so sure now. I didn't know the course was in this rough shape lol
It’s rough but it’s fun if you don’t take it super serious. Me and my friends play here all the time and like it cause we can just mess around while we play. There’s quite a few fun holes too
Hey Brother... we Play Shilo all the time and it is so much better now over in platte city... I do a Detours youtube channel if you are interested it hitting a course with me!
