To everyone who wanted a tutorial video on how to play Dead Space Mobile on android. RU-vid has removed the video due to it breaking the guidelines for piracy. They also came after the google drive folder i made, i won't be attempting to dump any files or folders again to avoid youtube cracking down on my account. I'm very sorry I can't providlear instructions to yall, but id rather keep my channel up and make content you all can enjoy over losing a channel to this situation.
It’s understandable why this practice was abandoned and much of the mobile game market became greedy. These games look incredibly expensive to make, especially having to make it functional on such small devices. All that effort for such diminishing returns, especially this game needed to make a sizable profit back. Though I despise the greediness of many gaming companies nowadays, it’s incredibly understandable why it went down that road.
For anyone curious, as to what the audio log contains, it says: "Audiolog, RIG number 438642. I've been selected for a special secret mission, down in the core systems on the Shard. I hope I can do them proud. Altman be praised."
There are 2 of them in the mission right after Ishimura. First is floating in the air outside of the fence in the very beginning of the level, don't remember the exact location of the second tho.
I LOVE the hallucinations, walking out of a room just to walk back into it, the way you came through, and the mirroring of the players moves, genius , I wished this was incorporated more into 1st dead space
NO WAY, I actually pulled up my 2010, screen shattered, tiny ipod, charged it up, and lo and behold! I have this game still running since 14 years ago, and am about to have a full on retro gaming night.
@@OXNARD-805 I'm sorry to hear that, my charging cable looks like it's been chewed up by a rabbit, but luckily it still works. Funny though, as I was playing though it, the plastic case of my ipod was peeling off bit by bit. That's how u know u're holding a fossil in your hands haha
This mobile game was definitely ahead of its time. No other mobile game could really mimic it, and no doubt it was probably an abandoned idea due to how much it probably cost to even make it. It’s probably what lead to more predatory practices, as this game alone probably lost EA more money to make it, than people buying it. Oh, and I think the hallucinations were quite creative in this instead of the constant jump scare from Nicole lol.
@@ExpertContrarian i should been more specific. I didn’t mean it was the sole reason for EA’s directional shift to be more greedy, but it was certainly one game that lead them to becoming what they are in the mobile space today.
@@moongoalie2410 This game sold well and made them money, they even had same studio do similar thing to mass effect mobile, except that game sucked and didint do well. and in 2012 free to play become a thing and made more revenue than any game with price tag. So everyone jumped on this goldmine.
I was an Army brat growing up. Never really asked for a ton and was just grateful when my parents bought me something. My dad got assigned to a combat advisory unit based out of Germany training Afghani forces and to help with the 14 hour flight to Europe, my sister and I were gifted first gen iPad’s. One of the games my dad got me was this game and it was my introduction to the series. I have so much nostalgia for it but genuinely it was a great experience for $5. They nailed the atmosphere and it was truly a Dead Space game.
Unfortunately, your parents are doing the devil’s work serving for the terrorist USA military that illegally invaded and occupied and killed innocent Afghan civilians.
Those still looking for an answer, you have to jailbreak your vita and find the files online which isn’t too difficult. There’s plenty of tutorials online and on youtube. The homebrew community is insane for the vita
I remember thoroughly playing this on my iPod 4 back in the day. It’s a phenomenal game and it’s a tragedy it’s not officially available, especially with the recent remake being lauded.
I played this game over and over on my Xperia Play. It was basically a sliding smart phone where the back half was a psp, with shoulder buttons to boot. It was wonderful for playing this, so much fun. Was really upset when EA pulled the game off the store
You know im glad your able to show off this game. I remembered playing this game a lot and think i got a phone with this installed still. What i always remembered was the ending mainly the reveal of who you played as. It was my version of how it was revealed who metroid main character. Thank you for bringing back some memories.
Thank god I always wanted to play this game as a kid but now knowing what the game was like is a shocker as I wasn’t expecting it to be a standalone game, amazing video keep it up 👍
Ya know if the fellas behind the remake ever get around to the sequel i wouldn't mind if they basically took this game and remade it as a dlc of sorts, like it wouldn't be too outta place considering how we got a whole game surrounding the protags from extraction
Man, I was so mad when EA decided to pull the plug on this games life support. I don't do mobile gaming that much, but Dead Space mobile was definetly my favourite game to play. It was scary, well made and I also liked the story. I was near the very end of the game, until I couldn't launch & play the game anymore on my IPod 4, because the game was removed from the store and it became unplayable. Thankfully an amazing person restored the full game through emulation and now I have the full game on my new smart phone. I haven't finished it yet, but I will someday.
Pretty solid vid, although I'd invest some more time into audio. It's crazy, I remember playing a bit of this back on my mom's iPad as a kid. The fact that there is this entire canon Dead Space game that only existed on the phone years and years ago is still hardly believable. A story-based singleplayer campaign third person shooter with hours of gameplay for a phone back at the turn of the decade, what an insane thing to consider. What makes it even crazier is how it may very well be the third best full game Dead Space (4th if we separate ds1 and ds remake.) One can hope that, if EA finally gets their act together, we could maybe see it included alongside severed if a dead space 2 remake happens.
This just popped in my recommendations. I used to have this game back in my school days on my iPod 4. It's the one I played the most in the series by a long shot, since I only had this one available. I remember letting one of my friends try the game, you should have seen his reaction when the first Necromorph popped up there at 11:45. He was so scared it was funny. I'd pay gold to live that moment again lol
There’s actually a sweet spot on the final boss that I don’t think anyone knows about since I’ve never seen it mentioned ever since I discovered it. It’s in the room where you have to zero g launch your self from platform to platforms. When you enter the room, you look up, look back and there should be a platforms above the door you entered. You then look down where the final boss should be, aim down sights and you can almost see the stage and you can fly straight to the boss without having to fly platform to platform. So many memories of playing this game on my iPod touch gen 4. I remember I got it on Fourth of July for $1 because of the Fourth of July sale and bunch of other games.
As someone who played the shit out of that game. They didn’t add the credits microtransactions till WAAAAAAAY after. They added so many other new things also like new guns and modes. I should also point out this game was better than it had any right to be !!!!! At times when I played this on my iPod touch back in the day. I forgot I was playing a handheld experience
Cant believe ive never heard about this DS2 was one of my favorites played through the game so many times and not one time had i heard about a mobile prequel not to mention it was actually pretty good the dialogue with Tideman was all really good they genuinely wanted to make a good game here and it shows kinda wish it got the recognition it deserved
Not sure if it reflects poorly on me i think this is one of the best vids i have and will ever witness besides... Anything sewerslvt, but damn. It was SO satisfying, i actually watched a vid w my eyes for more than "x time". You have a way, and im not sure its all DeadSpace
Damn, I'm glad I found this on my fyp, because I have never seen a more underrated RU-vidr in my life. Crazy part is I got directed here from a trailer (saying this for everyone but butter, he directed me here) I just gotta say thanks, and I'm glad to be a new subscriber. I may watch to many videos but I'll be here to stay. Also the song is Order if anyone's curious
Great game that EA abandoned! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IronMonkey Studios also made Mass Effect Infiltrator (iOS / Mobile), which I recommend to any Mass Effect fan out there! (well, any fan that don't care about all the struggle and harresment to find and make the damn thing work)
i remember playing this when i was a kid, i had so much fun and really got obsessed with dead space. this game is actually very impressive and it sucks that they removed it from the play store...
"It sets an example of what a mobile game could be and should strive to be". I wanted to make a game with this quality but I haven't had time to do so because for several reasons. Maybe one day I will get to make one. Great video on a great game.
Well if ea ever gets to doing a remake of 2 this should be a spinoff game on consoles and just update the length and it would be pretty good for a console game. Or jez even maybe make this a kinda cool side mission in a dead space 2 remake when hopefully that happens where we play through part of vandals story as a side quest and understand how they ended up impacting some of the stuff that made the sprawl into what we see it as in 2.
This Metroid Space is a cool game for the PS2, it's very nice with graphic. Real talk, the sound delay kind of drove me nutty. That's pretty much the only genuine gripe I have.
I told my friend about how this game was super rare and guess what he did? He got it running in 30 minutes on his phone with nothing. No laptop or anything
I just finished the game! Must say, what an amazing little game!!! The character reveal at the very end was genuinely great! A bit naïve of a story, but a bold take, playing as a saboteur working for the Unitologists!? What a shame they took it down officially. What they could've done is to remake it for the modern phones, with greater graphical fidelity and a bit of a rework for the plot. Or even better, why not take it all the way to PC and consoles and just make a spin off based on this story, I'd be so hyped for it. But yeah, what a trip down the nostalgia lane, thanks for unearthing this little and actual hidden gem on my friking 15 yo ipod! (Truth be told, I didn't even realize before that this was a spin-off when I tried it as a kid! I thought it's the same DS1, but simply ported on mobile lmao) You sir just earned yourself a wholeheartedly sub. Thank you!
I love this game its absolutely amazing for a mobile game. I also found out on a 4th play through on hard mode, at the final boss behind the console you use to slam the creature into the core, there is a Peng statue you can pick up.
Dead Space got laid on ice again, because the DS Remake didn't meet EA's tremendous sale expectations. The sheer greed and lack of care for their customers and the franchise fans is unprecedented. We can only hope and pray for a DS2 Remake. In a perfect world we'd get this mobile game as a "prologue" and the Severed DLC remade as well together in a "bundle" for the ultimate DS2 experience but a man can dream.
@StarkSpider24 check the pinned comment for a tutorial and link to the apk I used. I was gonna post it, but youtube gave me a strike for essentially teaching people how to pirate the game.
The Infinity Blade series was the same for me. All incredibly polished mobile games with: no ads, unlockable progression, good visuals, good storytelling, and good vc's. Where are they now? Gone bc Epic Games and Apple are terrible companies.
For a love of god, you guy dig out a fricking diamond-- No, A chest full of diamons and full of gold. Now give a where is virtual machine and files. That should be up to everyone to see.
Hey man I'm proud of you doing all that work but honestly I'm not really sure why you had to. I'm on a Galaxy flip 4 and I have the game on mine all I had to do is download a updated version that was modified already from the APK website to work on Modern devices. IDK maybe I just got lucky
i still have this game downloaded on my ipod touch never deleted it never updated it i bought it for 1 dollar using my free apple store money that i would get every now and then but the bad news is the game still works but no charger works on the ipod anymore so i think the charging port is broken i also had it downloaded on my ipad 1 that i sold so its long gone
Its a terrible shame that the dead space 2 remake was canned. Imagine if it released and after beating the main game or buying some dlc you unlocked this as a playable side story, kinda like the last of us' left behind dlc
Dead Space 3 wiill always hold a special place in me heart. I loved Dead Space 3 more than any other Dead Space and I HATE all the UNWARENTED hate towards it. The only negative about Dead Space 3 is that they refused to release a Dead Space 4 and then wait years just to remaster the first.
Wow there is learly love put into this game and its quite creative, I didn't expect that. but the helmet of isac looks goofy ^^ and why are his steps SO LOUD?!
watching this video scares me on how my android phone managed to run the game without issues I thought it would've been the same as the others with the apk and obb files but damn
Probably why there is a flesh racking place its to grow edible meat, since I doubt a cow would have a good time in outer space. Maybe. Hopefully. I guess.
I played this game back in the day and yeah I'll tell you the truth it's one of the best mobile games I've ever played and It was surprisingly scary too
