I see a lot of comments going on about how DF is playing, at most, controversially, but lets look at it this way: He's having fun! He may be placing towers in spots that won't do the best for that specific tower, but he's enjoying the game. Let him play and have fun, and he will learn some better strategies as he goes on. So let's give him some support and tips, instead of bashing him for not following the meta right off the bat.

If you invest into dartling guns, then THAT will really hurt your computer. They also target your cursor

Tip: target your mortars on an intersection, such as the corner of a loop toward the middle. This will force the bloons to go through the blast zone twice.

just a couple tips if u want some: -so usually less towers but quality towers r better than spamming low level towers. u can beat round 100 on some of the hardest modes with only 2 towers example. - place your few but quality towers close together and get a village in there, usually a 2-3-0 village or a 2-2-0 so they can see camo and attack fast with jungle drums, like your snipers could be attacking so much faster. -also too many snipers on strong which was why a lot of bloons were sneaking through. - the third middle path upgrade on village would allow your energy guys to hit purple bloons as well. the reason u died was because it was purple camo and u didnt have really any reliable camo detection so it was just going through every time. - use alchemist 3-0-1 and u can put a few of them if u got a lot of towers, they really buff your towers hard. - a 0-4-0 engineer also buffs your towers a lot - make sure to use your abilities at the bottom of the screen, you can press number buttons to activate them or click on the icon. you had heroes abilities u never used and u cans ee what they do by clicking on the info icon of your hero and reading what each level gives. - you can click top right of screen for options and click auto start on so each round starts automatically which makes it much faster to go round to round and then turn it off if u need time to think. its good in early rounds. -space bar starts, slows and speeds up the round rather than clicking the button with the mouse. - and u can look at the controls in the options screen in the home screen just to see the controls for hotkeys for towers leveling and other stuff u might find useful -overall hopefully some of these tips help, monkey village, alchemists and engineer r super good towers to buff your units, also 4-2-0 and 5-2-0 village can be super good for primary monkeys also. support towers like ice and glue r pretty good too to support your buffed damaging towers.

Tips - You had a lot of snipers on strong, meaning they would pop the blimps faster and overwhelm the towers on first. You could avoid this by buying more towers on first, or less towers on strong. - The top path for the banana farm is the flashiest where you see your screen drown in bananas every round, but it’s a hassle sometimes to pick up those bananas - I know how much you like investing money into banks and living a boring life of going to work and sleeping, so the middle path might be good. It is a bank that increase exponentially and caps out at 10000. It’s better in the long run and you only have to click on the bank once every couple rounds to collect, but there’s no fun colors saying you increased in money until you collect all. - I’m not sure if you did it, but you can upgrade the village so everything underneath it sees camo - mortars are better when targeting loops than straight lines because then it can hit more of the track and therefore more balloons - circle towers like the tack shooter and ice tower also are better inside loops for the same reason as above - one day max out glue gunner and get the top path. It’s name is bloon solver and he’ll make you happy - you can place benjamin anywhere, so it’s recommended you place him away from the track so there’s more space for towers that need to be by the track. This doesn’t really matter as much - the ninja monkey is really strong. If you do the bottom path, it can hit leads, camos, and purples - each balloon has different properties and each monkey has properties to counter certain balloons. There are purples that need to be popped by pointy things, leads that need melty/explody things, and blacks that need to be popped by non cannons. There’s also modifiers such as camo which makes it invisible to some towers, regrow which needs to be killed quickly or it’ll regrow and make even more balloons, and fortified where it has properties of a ceramic balloon. - the fortified regrow camo red is a myth feared by all man

I usually put the spike factories about 2/3 of the way along the track so they can lay down a big carpet of spikes before anything gets that far. It's a nice safety net that doesn't cost very much especially when you have a lot of faster balloons all at once. You can also upgrade your Monkey Village to let everything in its radius see camo.

The townhall or w/e its called allows your towers to hit all balloons regardless of what kind it is in one of it s upgrade paths. So if you put a townhall in between your super monkeys, it allows them to hit everything.

Hey DF tip for leveling your towers faster: you receive significantly less XP in freeplay mode.

Some tips: -Place bomb shooters closer to the track, makes the bombs hit more -Spike factories are way better farther down the line

Hi DF, first i want to thxs you for your content, always good :) and for this game if you read this, you have to use the ultimate combo: -Adora champ -Ninja tier 4 up -Alchemist tier 4 up -Monkey village tier 2 up and 3 mid -And a lot of banana farmer (bank *tier 3 mid* are beter on the late game and the tier 3 up for the earlie game) the objective is to up adora lvl 20 with sacrifice before the lvl 90, and with this comp you can win all map in hard difficulty. To be more afk farm comp you can put capacity of adora on auto with the little robot (it cost 20$ but all game give you more) Continue like that your one of the best on youtube XOXOXO from france ;)

Alchemist monkeys can boost the towers around them super well if you upgrade the top path. Lets all monkeys hit lead bloons and upgrades attack speed, like the monkey villages! Love the series and I hope you keep having fun with it!

Those purples were camo, and the super monkeys can’t see camo until you give them the ultra-vision upgrade

Love that you are playing BTD6! I have some tips to help you get further, Use the top path of the alchemist, as they help buff other towers in range, and also use the middle upgrades for the village. They help you detect camo for the second upgrade, and the third allows all towers in range to pop any type of bloon, including lead, camo, and purple bloons. Also the bottom path Super Monkey does extra damage to the blimp class bloons.

When using farms and Benjamin (the hero that you are using in the video) the best upgrade is banks (middle) and more money (top), also always put attacking monkeys as close as you can to the track, another thing you can use is the alchemist. His top tier upgrades buffs monkeys, the middle path is for moab killing, and the lower tier is the one you are probably the most intrested in, he turns ceramic bloons (the brown bloons that take long to break) and lead bloons to gold! Another tip is that you should put your spike factories in the back, because they can build up a lot of spikes and save you in a emergency! I hope it helps!

I found that loads of helicopters with moab shove can be fairly useful.

Village is a good tower, gives tower more attack speed and camo detection; you have to get 200 to give attack sped and 020 to give camo though. Top path alchemists are also great for buffing your towers, getting bottom crosspath can increase towers that it can buff

Just some tips ALWAYS get range on super monkey unless it is dark night and get the village upgrade 0-3-0 at minimum constantly have a ton of buffing towers and don't fully rely on magic monkeys because they let purple balloons get by

Hey DF, you should know that you get almost no XP in freeplay mode, so play in hard or medium mode so that you can get more xp on late game towers like the super monkey! Edit: Also, banks are great for high amounts of money, but only buy the 3rd upgrade, the 4th is trash

More tips! -In the long run, it’s not worth buying upgrades for hero’s -once you unlock them, cubism and logs are the best maps for going into the far rounds (150+) -once you level up enough, you’ll unlock monkey knowledge, permanent cross game upgrades, such as giving you more starting cash or boosting specific towers

The issue at the end wasn't actually because you needed a much better strategy, but actually that those were camo purple bloons, and since default super monkeys can't detect camo... you kinda just did the exact same round 3 times without actually impacting the problem whatsoever. By the way, here's some tips: Wizard Monkey with Shimmer at the start of the track is FANTASTIC. Basically just makes camo detection irrelevant past the first second or so. Ninja Monkeys are versatile and cheap; they detect camo by default, and can be upgraded to fire 5 homing shuriken that each pierce 4 bloons about 3 times per second for only about 3K. Their other paths are very nice too, and one provides a range and firerate buff to nearby ninjas, stacking up to 20 times. Boomerang monkeys are ludicrously good at clearing early waves (and great later too); in fact, they're the first tower I place for Alternate Bloon Rounds (AKA Hard but bloon waves are much, much harder; lead and camo bloons show up before round 10, and I'm pretty sure camo leads pop up around wave 16), as they're the only thing cheap and effective enough to prevent losing lives while saving cash for a 1/1/0 sniper to pop the camos, leads, and camo leads. MOAB Maulers are an okay way to deal with MOABs early, but it's mostly thanks to their AoE; for later rounds, their DPS isn't worth the space or the cost, since non-MOABs become pretty much irrelevant. Personally I'd go with a 4/0/2 sniper; it can slow one blimp almost to a complete stop. From there, pretty much anything with good single-target DPS will work fine. Super Monkeys are good all-rounders, but aren't as good as others for specialization. Dartling Gunners work nicely, 4/X/X Ninja Monkey spam is a space-consuming but effective option, and pretty much anything that mentions dealing bonus damage to MOABs will work. MOAB SHREDR Spike Factories deal loads of damage to MOABs, but are mediocre otherwise, so try to put them somewhere only DDTs (black MOABs) will get to. Lastly, Alchemists and Villages are incredibly important; Alchemists on the top path give temporary strong buffs to nearby towers (including bonus range, firerate, damage, and even more damage vs. ceramics and MOABs), able to keep about 2 towers permanently buffed, or give bonus money from bloons on the bottom path. Villages give discounts, as well as bonus range and firerate to all towers within range (assuming you upgrade the village, of course!). Between the two, you can drastically power up a tower. For example, you could have put a Village with your snipers, giving them all +15% firerate. Alchemists work best when you're focusing on a couple of towers, Villages work best for when you have more towers than that that you're counting on. Hope this helps!

I'm just excited for him to be confused at what happens when he adds the final super monkey upgrade for the sun god tree.

You died to camo purple bloons, they're immune to energy, and require camo detection, that's why they kept murdering you, ALL your snipers were set to strong, you needed more camo detection, Monkey towns can grant camo detection to all bloons in their radius with one of their upgrades, also the bottom super monkey path is VERY good, it grants them camo detection

I haven't played this version of Bloons, but Ninja Kiwi seems to have the balance where they want it, so they're pretty similar version by version. Here's my strat: *Bloon Slowing* Load the very front of the path with glue monkeys, (maybe 5 or 6, but no less than 3) and upgrade them until they at least glue every layer and do splash effect. Squeeze them as close to the front of the path as possible, but keep them right up against the path - I always set mine up 2 or 3 at the top and bottom of the path, right up front. Also, later on you want to scatter 2 or 3 more gluers further down the path because moabs can't be glued, so if you destroy one out of your glue monkeys' range, it could cost you the game. The splash effect is a bit less important with these ones, but glue soaking through all layers is _always_ critical - without it, glue monkeys are basically useless. 1 or 2 ice monkeys in there doesn't hurt either, and you want them upgraded so all layers of the bloon are iced if you use them. The goal is to put slow effect on _every_ bloon asap, and you want at least 2 glue monkeys in front as some of your first 5 - 8 things. *Efficient Popping* As far as damaging goes, placing your monkeys well is the key. You should be maximizing how many times a monkey can pop bloons in its range - mostly by, placing monkeys where there is pathing in as much of the monkeys attack radius as possible (i.e.: where paths loop, cross each other, or run close to each other, etc). The exception to this are the bomb towers, which you place well by putting them at the start of the path like the gluers to pop those moabs asap (though also like the glue monkeys, scattering a couple bomb towers further along is good practice). Putting most of your monkeys in the first half (or even quarter) of the path is fine, but you do want others in the middle and back for cleanup. Snipers and mortars are exceptions to this, but you're placing those just fine. *Monkey Choice/Upgrades* My first thought after watching your vids is for you to consider range upgrades for your super monkeys - it gets pretty ridiculous. When one super monkey can hit bloons basically anywhere on the map regardless of where you place it, it's popping _way_ more efficiently. The wizard monkeys used to be upgradable to have a spell that sent bloons all the way back to the beginning of the path. Not sure if it exists in this version, but if it does, get it. It's amazing. I rarely use the tack _shooters_ but the tack _layers_ (the ones that drop the piles of tacks on the path) are great to place toward the end of the path to pick off any stragglers. The shooters are pretty bad imo, but as long as they have the range to hit the whole path, then placing them inside the loops makes them ok-ish. I don't know if ninja monkeys are in this version, but if they are they're probably great like in previous versions - you should use them. You've already discovered how good the snipers are, so I suppose my last piece of advice is that it's ok to go crazy with the banana farms, but maybe just a little slower is all. You lost with 10k to spend, which is a lot of money but not helpful if you lose anyway. If you bothered to read this far, I hope it helps. 😁

Justo so you know, the black moabs are camo, lead, have the life of a moab and speed of a pink so that why they are so tough. To stop them just get villages with the camo detection upgrade and the M.I.B to if you can

Them purple balloons suck... anything that’s not considered “normal” darts usually won’t penetrate them(plasma,god rays, laser,etc.)

Putting the Tack factory in the center of the circles is good for like a passive defense, cause they'll pour out tacks for the whole round, if anything makes it that far.

If I remember there was one of the helicopter tier 5 upgrades that once you got it you essentially solo everything. I think it 2-0-5 was the upgrades and you gave it a monky town to see camo

@ DangerouslyFunny when you place a monkey you want its "AOE" to cover as much track as possible so it gets more popping value.. like your Cannon when you place it above the track at the beginning there and it only barely touches the track it's only going to fire 1-2x if you placed it at the beginning but below the track(where super monkey is at 4:20) he would get to fire 10x or more. Ninja is also a good beginner monkey to pop camo.. also your reg dart monkey (0-3-2) the 3-way darts with camo also (4-0-2) spike-a-pault/jug with camo on the end of a straight path set to target "Last" is also very good. your monkey village can be upgraded to allow any monkeys in its range to hit camo as well.
