1:54 the best way to tell North America apart from Europe is by looking at the Google car (this only works when you are in Gen 4 coverage). If you can see the front of the car (could be blue, white, black etc.), then you are in North America or anywhere in the Americas for that matter. If you can see the back of the car that may have a short antenna (mostly a blue car), then you are for sure in Europe. Exceptions do exist around the world but this is a good rule of thumb.
