I’m thinking he’s one of those kids who works way too much on the dribbling drills and his b-ball iq isn’t actually good. Also he was standing w his legs straight and back bent forward on defense. But idk
@@06_psycho23 running and shit is how you play basketball though... that guy was trash he didnt even have his arms up defending and he would've had a chance if he wasn't so trash
Lotta folks live that way. If you don’t make the coin, you don’t get to see them houses too much. I know lots people who live like this, many don’t ever want you OR me there, and then some just have $, but you’ll never know cause they live to get life, not live to have $.
That kid’s defense and ball handling were excellent. I also liked how he handled defeat better than many “adults” Tristan plays. If he gets that jumper going, he’s gonna be a problem
T Jass hitting them 3s opened up the lane and once he hit a few 3s and then he hits you with those hesis that you gotta be RIGHT up on, it's over, cuz he blowing by you.
robert bonnifet it was 15-2 because the kid can’t score. Eventually someone is gonna reach 15 even if you’re playing good defense. And yeah he did clamp him on some plays even if the score was 15-2. It’s not a hard concept to comprehend
The kid didn’t like going left, once you took away his right he was outa ideas, you could literally see his mind working, his go to move was the right side step jumper, you could tell he’d worked on that
Should get Dylan on the squad. He definitely needs help in his long game, but his defense is good as he'll. He didn't fall for the trick shots and instead of getting flustered by them, just attacked. That made Jass have to play more conservatively and rely more on the 2s. There's some talent there.
Yeah the score doesn’t tell how close this could have been. Defensively very good, not too bad when driving into the lane. Shooting was horrendous, some odd technique and got sloppy on some shots.
Richie Rich was probably wondering how he got his ass kicked being that he really isn't a bad player at all and has a strong defensive game. The secret however, which Jass hinted at near the end is getting out there and playing with other people as much as you can. It's not enough to get good practising alone because it doesn't account for all the variables involved when playing against other people.
He’s fairly solid defensively which doesn’t come from playing solo. What he does need is tons of practice shooting. Should have made the last basket when he had no pressure on him. I do agree get out there on some random courts to see different styles. Might be hard looking at the houses around him. He’ll probably have to drive far for some competition.
How old is this kid? Give him a couple years he’ll actually be pretty good. He got defense and moves... just gotta be a little more sniper on his shots.
I don’t think it’s that.... he looks like. Middle schooler or under class men high schooler. At that level you don’t go1 on 1 a lot you just wait for your shots to come to you.
If the kid focused on the fundamentals like low post and backing down Tjass he could have a chance because he looks stronger. Problem with new players right now is they focus too much on fancy dribbles, highlight cross over, shooting inefficient threes and fade away jumpshots instead of focusing on the fundamentals
