0:26 fun fact for space ship: you can use a probe to control a rocket or anything you build, you don’t need to use a capsule at all, and it saves fuel because of lower weight, even adding a nose cone on top is less then a capsule, not even counting the parachute or heat sheild

@@TechnicallyJustSuperFunGaming You can use gravity assists to raise your apoapsis to come closer to Earth's orbit. Then you can burn your engines once you are in the transfer window (you will have to timewarp a lot till the transfer window is near the Perihelion), and you will require much lesser fuel for the Earth encounter.
sfs player and a fan when your at 40k+, unfortunately a rescue mission is impossible cause the stage separator destroyed the docking port, the only way is to have landing legs attach into the bottom so the legs would keep the rocket from leaving, but since 82% of physics are turned off during timewarp, if you timewarp the rocket will act like there's no other rocket holding it in, in basic explanation, if you timewarp the rocket will phase through the landing legs preventing you from holding and trapping it

maybe ksp with mods sometime? u can mod it with ,,Parallax, waterfall, textures unlimited recolour depot(TURD), Spectra, EVE, chatterer, scaterer, rocket sound enchanment" and it will almost be ksp2.

You said that the pod will get back and my moon Rocket VLR-3 gets the first big stage back on earth and capsule back but the stage crashes into earth but! one engine survived(this happened on my test flight of VLR-3 in sfs. It’s a still on moons orbit tomorrow I’ll send the probe home:))
I once tried to land on mercury and I accidentally got caught into Venus’s orbit so I decided to land there instead but for some reason, my heat shield got too hot and burnt into dust.
