We have spring water also. But if you want clean water here you use distilled water. The tap water here will rot your teeth. Very bad. Bottle water is cleaner . But if you want really clean in the US it has to be distilled water. 💪🏼⚡️👍👊🏻

I keep my lipos in the garage inside of a lipo bag that's inside of a metal military ammo can. I still worry about them.

In 10 years of using Lithium Polymer batteries in my RC cars and drones, I've never had so much as a puff of smoke from them. The key to their use is understanding their chemistry and their proper care. I'm wondering if the BMU in these cars is up to the task if they are bursting into flames. I suppose it could be a case of a faulty battery but I reckon the BMU would be the more likely culprit. To be fair though, I have had a Nokia phone get very hot in my pocket and die because its battery got wet in the rain. Not a fault but a careless user. As for bottled water, do your remember that infamous "Peckham Spring Water" episode of Only Fools and Horses? 🤣 Tap water is perfectly safe to drink as long as you boil it and cool it first! I wouldn't trust it after an outbreak of cryptosporidiosis caused by cryptosporidium in water supplies here.

I have never personally ever have had a lipo go up. But i did see a Tesla and have a few friends that have pulled there flaming lipo out of there Rc before it completely burned up. Got s new community nitro project Haggord woooo.

Lipos are very safe . Only issues when you use cheap chargers and reduce below 20% I’ve had 1 3s 800mah for 15yrs.. still works . Use the best charger you can afford .
