I Put An $85 AMAZON EXHAUST On My BUG! *ITS LOUD* 

I'll have to take a look at the valves, checked them probably 1000 miles ago. What is the advantages of going to an alternator over a generator? Im curious if I was going to that if it would be worth it to just go all 12v

@@WingsWorldChannel Oh yeah, I completely forgot you are running an earlier bug so its a 6v system. In that case, it really comes down to what you plan to do with the bug. It wouldn't be hard to tax the existing system with lights, sound system, etc. The stock system will handle a simple stereo and some lights decently, but an alternator upgrade and 12v conversion is ideal if you plan to do much more. The biggest benefit for an alternator is the higher amperage produced, and it actually takes a bit less energy to kick over, the wiring becomes much simpler too if you use one with an internal voltage regulator. Also, I believe when you go to a 12v system that they use a different flywheel and starter.

i was thinking the same thing. the valves need to be adjusted. i could never stand that chirp on my Vw's. i always readjusted the valves so that it wouldn't chirp.

Can you use disc brake conversion on 2 1/2 spindles or just 2.5

No front seal. Uses an oil slinger and reverse spiral groove on the pulley snout.

No front seal unless some cut in a sand seal.

Volkswagen does not have a rear seal!

@@GarageItYourself apparently you forgotten which is the front of the car. They’re most certainly is a front seal next to the flywheel! There is no rear seal at the crank pulley! There’s a difference between the front and the back of the car. Lol

@@davidwest2773 what are you talking about ? there is a front and rear engine seal man! look at my channel I think i know volkwagens and if they have a seal or not

If they are self employed I would love to know to get some ideas because you best believe I dont want to be doing 9 to 5 for the next 60 years of my life
