The Pokemon games that are PC only aren't actually ROM-hacks, since they don't modify an actual Pokemon ROM. The community instead refers to these as "Pokemon fan games"
Recently I have been hooked to everything regarding custom firmware on the 3ds. Your channel is becoming one of my favorite content to learn and discover new ways to enjoy my modded console. I'm really looking forward to your future videos!
@@epiccheenis7903 There is one easy way to do it. You'll need the 3DS Homebrew, FTPD, and you'll also need an FTP Client on your PC, such as FileZilla. When you boot up FTPD, there will be some numbers on the top of the top screen. You'll need to put those numbers into the designated spots on your FTP Client. Afterwards, your 3DS and PC will be talking to each other. You'll then be able to transfer the game to your 3DS in a folder where you want your DS games to go. The game size is 512 MB, and the transfer speed is slow, especially if you're doing this on an O3DS. Sit back and relax for a few minutes. Once it's done, you can close both FTPD and the Client. Just boot up TwilightMenu++, point it at where you have the game stored, and you are good to go! Happy hunting and catching!!
wow, if only there was a way to utilize the multiplayer aspects of these games when they're in ROM form. the galaxy 3DS looks gorgeous; I still want one
Just modded my 3ds and currently in the process of adding all my 3ds pokemon rom hacks. Gotta convert em to cia and change each title id so they all can show up on the system
2 questions, first how would i go about putting the rom hacks into my 3ds i have homebrew etc. 2 where could i find the file with every rom hack available for 3ds
Pokemon Prism is really good! It was the first Pokemon rom hack I ever played. You should try Radical Red. Version 4.0 just dropped some days ago and it is very good. Also any rom hack by Drayaneo or Dio Vento is sure to be of great quality :)
This is so awesome!! How about this are we able to download rom like “CRYSTAL LEGACY” and “YELLOW LEGACY” patched them and download them type of romhacks???
Hey is it possible nowadays to make an ORAS romhack I can actually play on my modded new 3DS? Using the engine but starting from the ground up repurposing code and assets of the official game?
For some reason, i have no idea, nsui doesnt allow me to make a cia of pokemon brown, or grape, presumably because they are original gameboy games that have been modified to run in color too, is it possible you could make a short guide for it or is it too much hastle absolutely love your videos!
@@leafy126.5 well i have only had errors with brown and grape, all others have worked just fine Im probably better off just using an emulator in my retroid pocket 2+
Hello, i felt on your last video that i tried making the mario movie on the 3ds but after doing the files and audio the cia didn't appear in the folder. Did i do something wrong?
I have a question: If I mod my 3ds and install Pokemon gen 1 to 6... Does Pokemon Bank let me move my Pokemons? For example if I download Pokemon Red does Pokemon Bank let me move my Pokemon Red Pokemons to Pokemon X or Y for example? And only with downloaded games
Yes you can pokebank any of the gen 1-7 games. As long as the pokemon aren’t hacked themselves. The means of getting the game doesnt matter because bank only cares about the pokemon themselves as far as i am aware.
i want to play DS games and hackroms as well how can I buy a ds? or new 3ds xl? what u recommend ? I'm looking on marketplace should I buy new 3ds xl? also is it called modded console? or how can I search for it thanks
You should do a tutorial on how to download blaze black 2 without a pc. If that’s even possible lol I bout a modded switch online and I wanna try it out
Hope that some of you can answer my questions😅 First of all, do i I have to let the roms as a zip file or do i have to extract the files before I can download these rom hacks on my homebrew? And the following download steps remain the same? Hope you can help me✌️
hello, nice video. i want to mod my 3ds but i have questions 1. can i download 2ds games like pokemon heartgold, on my 3ds? 2. can i play online using the ''pirated'' games? for example trading pokemon? 3. for example if i download lot of games will my 3ds will be slower? do i limit my amount of game etc? thx!
Hi there! 1.- You can download and play NDS games without any problem. Once you homebrew your 3DS you can download a program called Twilight Menu + that lets you play your NDS games natively. 2.- You can play online but some people advice against it. You run the risk of getting your console banned, though there hasn't been a ban wave since around 2017. You can do it if you want to. 3.- Your console won't slow down during gameplay, but boot times and the load time to get into the main menu does get longer if you have a large size SD card (More than 32 gb but it gets really noticeable above 128gb) or if you have a lot of items on your main menu. Hope this helps!
@@ARK-ep4bb damn! That’s the case for all emulated games on 3ds also, not just the 3ds and ds games that run natively right? So basically no matter what system you’re running on there you can’t fast forward?
@Bulian let me know when that gets done. Do you have a social I could message you on to ask you questions like how did you download pokemon y wilting on the 3ds
I have sinking sapphire but it keeps crashing at certain points, I was told to go into the system settings and delete extra data and that works for a little bit but then the crash comes back
