You should up their abilities with the sliders like ball handling, offensive awareness, defensive awareness, etc. The CPU’s can play play but you gotta tweak the settings.

Bird/Jokic never translate to this game. They’ll do well in the sim but IQ is so underpowered compared to athleticism. At least Jokic is big but Bird is so frustrating, basically useless
I think a small change you can make next time is to adjust the legend's position to match with the main player of the video. Like making LeBron a SG so he defends him most of the time. Great video still!
