You guys knew what you were doing. I remember when you guys barley had 5,000 followers and now you have over a quarter of a million. And Social Media is definitely a lucrative business venture, but just like you said, you HAVE to treat it like any other business. You have to post and create content. And taking that leap of faith is what Ive noticed MOST successful people do. You HAVE to take that plunge and create that time and space in order to be successful, even if that means quitting your day job. So Im so amazed by you guys.

I fully understand working for yourself. I'm retired and love it. Congrats!!!! Make sure you have savings and do not touch it and make sure you pay your taxes to IRS. Always be in check with all the things you need to get done such as family and work around the house. Also treat the business like a real business (Sole proprietorship vs partnership or S-Corporation) and give yourself a salary and report it on your taxes. Keep really good records for the business. Talk to other people who are doing what you are trying to do.

My uncomfortable leap was when both my husband as well as myself retired together at age 62 instead of working until age 70. Definitely a new chapter for us and we have loved every minute….being together 24/7/365. 😀

It has been challenging to work full-time and homeschool our two daughters while creating reels for instagram. I love decorating and my husband does all our DIY home improvement projects, so I enjoy creating instagram reels about our home projects. I recently uploaded some RU-vid videos.
