I don’t care how high quality the products are.
1. You’re not a doctor. Stop giving protocols to sick people.
2. They are wildly overpriced regardless of their quality.
I made this video to admit I made a mistake. I know what it would have taken to be successful but I won’t break the law or prey on desperation. Essential oils have their place in my life but I refuse to support a company that is full of ignorant sales people disguised as wellness experts.
Side note, I didn’t buy all those. 🤷‍♀️
Theres so much more I can say on each subject but for the sake of time I didn't. Feel free to reach out to me for a discussion.
If you have a friend or family member you want to help get out of an MLM my best advice is to stay by their side and do NOT buy anything from them. They won't stay in it forever.
Thanks for watching & subscribing to my good vibes channel!

My son has ADHD and one of his grade school teachers wanted to use some DT or YL essential oil on him at school to help him focus. I didn't figure it would work, but thought what the heck. After about a month she started trying to sell me some, saying that it wasn't working because I wasn't using it at home, too. She kept putting it on his feet, so his socks had to be thrown away because after a month, the smell would not come out in the wash. To this day, he hates any strong EO smell because it reminds him of being in her class.

My youngest son is diagnosed with ADHD. They can shove those oils up their righteous asses. I tried so much to not have to medicate my child but I'm not about to be in denial and feel shame about getting proper help and neither should other mothers. Stop rubbing these potent oils on your poor kiddos instead of getting them to a doctor. They don't fix ADHD. It doesn't work like that. I know from personal experience how badly parents want the best for their kids and don't want to medicate but its not worth them falling behind in school or struggling to make friends just so you can say you use natural approaches. Its pretentious and neglectful for the sake of vanity and relevance.

The girl that got me involved told me that the cinnamon oil (can't remember the name) would work better for my type II diabetes better than my insulin. I told HER my Endocrinologist told me that I would have to drink gallons of it and still that oil would not help. That GIRL laughed at thr fact that my ENDOCRINOLOGIST said it wouldn't help. This GIRL is not a doctor and the fact that she laughed at my Endo stating it wouldn't help is flat out DANGEROUS!

Cicero Meridius-Decimus my word that is SCARY that people are so desperate to make money that they would risk lives to sell it.
@clarasalomon1507
@clarasalomon1507 5 лет назад
Well, ultimately, your endocrinologist is not god. Bodies can heal by themselves. I've met people who healed certain types of diabetes through radical diet and lifestyle change, many people (really). No one I know did it through any oils though. But doctors don't heal anyone either. They can offer advice and pills to keep you alive with certain conditions so that your nervous system can heal itself, so that your cells can go in and repair damage. But more often, doctors give you a dead end treatment that yes, keeps you alive, but does not allow you to change anything that would allow your own body to self repair. So being arrogant because your friend was being stupid is not a good response. Sure, it's a little ridiculous to claim that a few drops of cinnamon oil is going to heal a major dysfunction in your body. But there is surely a LOT of positive thinking behind it, that is, with natural remedies that allow gene frequencies to flip on or off, that actually communicate with your body instead of manipulate it, you stand a chance to really heal. By shutting out your friend with arrogance, you're also shutting down other possibilities. Not to say don't listen to your intuition......insulin supplementation can be critical in the road to healing. But don't think for a minute your endocrinologist thinks your body can heal.....I mean, maybe she's a superstar integrative doctor who hasn't forgotten that the body is more genius than an arrogant doctor is. But if she's a typical doctor, she doesn't want you to heal because then she wouldn't be the god who is currently matched with your frequency of arrogance. Sure, your friend can also have more compassion with you and not inadvertently belittle a really serious health complication such as your own, one that is very distressing and causes a lot of suffering (I can REALLY relate). But you can also have more compassion with her. So many people are medically traumatized for good reason, because the current way of medicating and diagnosing people locks them into an illness paradigm and takes away all possibility of them healing themselves. This is VICIOUS, dangerous, cruel, and wrong. So maybe your friend has started to open up to the potential for self healing and wants to honestly share that with you, misguided or not.

@@TONIALCLARK Cicero is not representing the truth properly. I will say some very good doctors believe in the oils and even recommend them when appropriate. Some doctors don't advocate any natural products, only synthetic drugs that have deadly side effects. I am a doTERRA wellness advocate and a registered nurse. I would never tell someone to go against their doctor's orders and the doTERRA company does not recommend it either. But Clara is right, the body can get to a state of health that it can begin to heal itself.
@stoyanganev2789
@stoyanganev2789 5 лет назад
@@sharonyoung7702 Hi Sharon, the problem with so many believers in doTerra is that they are clueless about how the human immune system works. I will give an example. A friend of ours got sick and the moment she got sick she started stuffing herself with doTerra oils and in 3 days she claims she became better. The funny part is: The human immune system needs time and 3 days is good enough time for the body to start making antibodies and t attack the virus so people immediately think O look the oils are helping me. Also, many people do not know that let's say taking Tylenol or Advil does not heal anything but makes you feel better. The body needs time to heal itself. The serious illnesses need serious medical intervention and they will not just go away.(now note on the bottle -if the problem persist for more than 5 days seek medical help ) So on the basic things, the body can do a really good job and no oil and Advil will help you they will just cover up some of your discomforts while the body will do the heavy lifting. A friend of mine who's a mother was anesthesiology her entire life knew this and trained him since a child that ones he gets sick and does not show serious illness signs she lets him stay without any medication for at least 3 days and the sickness would go away. His mother does not want to poison his liver with Tylenol or Advil or similar medicine because she knows that the body will fight and do most of the work in just 3 to 5 days. So he educated me with this and asked me to try it and I did it and the result was the same -with or without Tylenol or Advil It just was more miserable without the pills but the period of illness was exactly the same,3 to 5 days with or without the pills. So many people are clueless about this and think that the junk they take is actually helping them when in reality the body does not care. His advice was: rest, drink water or herbal tea and wait for the storm to pass that is it. If your problems become bigger after 3 to 5 days you know that you are developing a serious infection and you need serious stuff. I do not see how doTerra can fight such serious infections.

Apparently you can only have a true allergic reaction if proteins are present. And this information comes straight from their Doctor. Dr. Hill has put it into print you cant be allergic. This is such a relief to watch! Finally someone voicing what I had been feeling for so long. I have been resistant to express how "not easy" it is to do this business for fear of being called a quitter, failure or "not determined or a real boss babe". There is SO much shaming around not doing the business that it was just not resonating with me at all. THANK YOU so much for courageously pointing out the very things many of us are scared of expressing. Doterra has some great products, but I have been doing a TON of research and there are many non MLM companies that sell very HIGH quality oils at 30-50% less. And it is NOT true that only DoTerra or only Young Living have the best quality oils and that is why they are expensive. The expenses are in having to pay a pyramid structure of compensation. Why not buy quality oils directly from a company? Thanks again, this was truly great to watch :)

Good question. I am currently taking my Aromatherapy Clinical Certification and have learned that oils regardless which kind, should not be consumed on a daily basis, and only under supervision of a certified practitioner or health professional. They are not meant to be taken internally every day. These are SUPER potent plant chemicals that can damage lining of the stomach, esophagus and internal mucous membranes. So from my understanding they should be taken VERY infrequently and only under supervision of a professional. It's just not healthy to be drinking lemon oil every day in water. Would you eat 100 lemon skins? It just isn't the purpose of the oils.

@@jillgross543 , there is a way to use essential oils in soap in safer quantities than most commercial soapmakers would suggest, and most essential oils don't contain the same preservatives as fragrance oils, nor the synthetic chemicals to create the scents in the first place. Yes, people can have a reaction to essential oils. Odds are, those same people would have a reaction to some fragrance oils too. The trick is to figure out what works for you, and in what quantity. If you make your own soap, that is very easy to do. All soap really is made of is oils (fatty acid), lye (base), and water. The reaction of lye and oil mixing creates a salt that we call soap. No scent is necessary at all, but it sure feels good to smell something nice on our skin, or add something that will help keep moisture in, or help promote healing. When I told my upline I was bailing out, I was spending more than I was making and she basically told me It takes money to make money and I was like ummm I know, I have another side business I run and I make more at that so I was going to continue to focus on what works for ME! After that I’ve never been interested in joining ANY MLM. I have friends that do it and I say to each their own. I have no qualms with them. All that being said I’ve been studying herbalism all year and I’ve learned SO much about plants and health, the anatomy. Let me tell you safety is a big deal with herbalists! Most herbalists rarely use essential oils, if at all. For several reasons. One being safety, most oils are not safe to consume internally! And if someone does it should only be under the close guidance of a certified aromatherapist. Also there’s sustainability concerns. In herbalism you don’t need massive amounts of plant material to benefit from plants! And it’s SO much safer and cheaper to use as well! To me it’s a no brainer. Why waste hundreds of pounds of plants for their oils when you don’t have to. Also herbalism has been around since the beginning of time basically while super concentrated essential oils and the modern use of them are fairly new really. So the long term data just isn’t there yet. Essential oils have their place but if you aren’t an expert, they should only be used topically or in a diffuser (even then use caution). They shouldn’t be used casually like they are. Many people develop liver problems from consuming essential oils. For this reason I have issues with these companies teaching their people to make the claims they do! It’s dangerous! And you’re right it IS illegal to make the claims they do. And to tell people that it’s completely safe and effective for everyone when it’s just NOT! Everyone has different Needs! And People still need doctors too. There’s a lot wrong with these companies. Anyway if you made it to the end of my novel, thanks for listening to my Ted talk 😂

They were NOT educated enough to make me comfortable to use essential oils. NOT AT ALL. So I started my own research. People need to do their own homework and not go by what someone says as facts! I would NEVER ingest EO unless under the care of a qualified aromatherapist. (Never have and never will) I've had great benefits without ingesting! They proceeded to display where they source these high-quality oils from on these large mega-screens. There was a family located somewhere in a 'third-world' country that was able to finally send their little girl to school due to their hard work hand picking and harvesting this particular herb...while the Blue-Diamonds stood on stage crying about how they were able to buy their second mansion and 5th sports car. ... I started using doTerra last November but I don't take them internally. I have rheumatoid arthritis which was diagnosed when I was a juvenile ( 14 ) I also was diagnosed with hypertension when I was 20 and 3 years ago I was diagnosed with malignant hypertension ( severely high blood pressure, 170/100 or higher ) and I take 4 different prescription meds for it. I CANNOT take ANY NSAIDS at all, period! I have had people in the group I'm in tell me I could be completely off all my hypertension meds by using oils and have been told that everyone with an autoimmune disorder should be following "X" protocol. I DON'T like the pushy part of all of this and I never intended to sell from the start. We're supposed to put in a LRP order of at least $125.00 a month by the 15th of each month to get the free product of the month and the 10% off product. Then you earn points to use to purchase free oils. I personally DON'T have that much to spend monthly so my representative tends not to interact nearly as much with those that she signed up that don't place large orders......because they're NOT making $$ off of us. I have voiced that concern to my rep numerous times and she'll continue to deny that fact. The other option if you still want to use the oils but not get all caught up in the selling is to just pay $35/year for a wholesale membership. You still get the oils at wholesale price but avoid all the other bs that goes on. I very much dislike MLM's ( anyone remember Amway ? Look how that turned out ). I do use my oils topically and diffuse them. I'm mainly interested in the "emotional or feels" oils and have taken the Aromatouch certification class. I will NEVER push them on others and I just share what has helped me but everyone is different. I think doTerra pushes WAY too hard on oils should be part of everyone's life and there's absolutely no need for pharmaceuticals. I recently had a very bad case of tonsillitis in September and I got an antibiotic ( I was a nurse for 22 years ) and I couldn't believe how many people told me I didn't need an antibiotic at all and should use this blend or that blend......ummmm, NO! I have a complicated medical history and it includes a heart arrhythmia and I'm not about to take chances with bacterial infections. I don't know if anyone is aware of the fact that someone with Young Living left them and that's how doTerra started.

I’ve told so many people this - a product shouldn’t be talked down simply because it’s under the MLM umbrella or expensive! Moreover it’s up to you to do your research and there will always be the uneducated folk who promise things that aren’t true. You’ve probably encountered a few salespeople in your time in this boat. Thankfully there are also many honest people in the business that know these oils are nothing more than a complimentary but can also have incredibly beneficial responses. When you go shopping for groceries do you purchase items that are pricier than you would like but you know you or your family will consume them? When you join an MLM that should be no different. The moment you started accumulating more oils than you can handle should have been the warning sign this company or business isn’t for you! And believe it or not, there is money to be made simply by sharing and not shoving the concept down people’s throats. I never use the words “treat, heal, cure” and that should never be the case for these oils. What I can say is, these oils have helped me tremendously with various health issues that nothing in the past could. My family too. Yes they are expensive. But I’ve been to Walmart and experienced their version of Frankincense oils for $5 a pop and I can assure you, you get what you pay for. Let others make their own mind up. I respect you have made yours. But don’t laugh at things that you believe have no validity (eg the flu bomb you chuckled at is actually my go too and works every time). Let others value their own health decisions and the company’s integrity.

She refused to see a real doctor, started making wild claims that she was being healed and has found a new opportunity to be in the medical field healing other people. I noticed no changes in her health and she repeatedly told me just 2 more weeks! This went on 3 years. I was told I was being "negative" if I questioned anything. Finally other members seemed to influence her to release the negative and to be healed all must go whom hinder your health by questioning. I started to feel she was not herself anymore it was like she had been brainwashed. I am not sure about what a diamond member is but it involves traveling, classes she described as medical school. While researching this company for the first time I came across your video so im in shock because now it all makes sense to me. I found this in March 2021, and I totally agree with you. Thanks for your honesty. Something I've noticed across multiple MLM companies is their lack of enforcement of their ethics guidelines, and their lack of ability to audit themselves and the lack of willingness to get third parties audit their business operations in each country they operate in. For example, here in Costa Rica, a friend of mine recommended that my mother ought to take Zrii's Amalaki for her fibromyalgia syndrome. This is a non-curable disease. They had no medical studies to prove or disprove their claims. Since the chemical compound is patented, you are unable to take samples out of it to a laboratory and determine whether it's toxic or not. Basically it's a leap of faith. There are no leaders willing to take a bullet when a MLM company is willingly doing a wrong thing.

@@lisat9707 I've studied numerous MLM opportunities and they all fall short. The only way to make significant income in any major MLM is to have dozens of people in your downline. This means your downline will be competing with each other for sales and their own downline. If you have 100 people under you, which should be enough to equal a part time salary in doTerra, and the bottom of your downline can get 100 under them, that's 10,000 sellers in a market. Unless you're in a huge, virgin market, there just isn't room for this many people to be successful. The structure of MLM depends on continued, unlimited growth if most reps are going to be successful. Obviously this is impossible which is why all MLMs including doTerra have only a few % of reps making even a small meaningful amount of money. Even the best training and compensation plan can't magically create the infinite business growth required for new members to succeed as the seller population grows.

There were recently two months in a row where I was unable to hit my PV because of financial issues. I had been hitting way above it for over a year. I wasn’t getting support from my upline or hearing from her at all and struggling with the business. She randomly messaged me through social media the first month I hadn’t hit my PV saying. “You still need to hit 90 more PV”. ... no “hi how are you, how are your babies?”... I swear that was her message. The following month she messaged saying “you only have a 10 PV order and won’t hit get commission if you don’t place 110. “... I at the time was making less than $100 commission, so why would I place an order I don’t need to make less in return? It made me sick to my stomach and the following month I decided I have all the oils and products I need. I was having a hard time anyway signing up ppl for awhile and only one of my downlines was really building. Everyone else was more of sharers. I’m still with doterra, but unmotivated and will only buy once in awhile when I need something. I like the Deep Blue products which I do really love. I’ve tried every restful oil (serenity, lavender, vetiver, cedarwood, ect) on my two kids and it doesn’t guarantee them sleeping through the night. I still wake 1-3 times a night between my 1 and 2 year old. I feel for you and I’m glad you did what was best for you. Mlm’s are hard and not for everyone. I made more money working at a call center for 4 years than the little I made through doterra. I prefer a normal full time job and not bugging everyone I know or finding ways to reconnect or bring up doterra everywhere I go. I have friends who are successful and revolve their life around doterra. That’s good for them, it’s just not for me. By the way, I think I saw it met you at convention last year. Yes I just found Plant Therapy as well bc I signed up as a WA with doTerra and I needed some good safety info on oil usage for my kids and googled it and found PT. I was also searching as to why DT changed the original Thieves formula. They replaced the Lemon with Orange and actually that search led me to Plant Therapy which is VERY child safety centered Oil company and has a MUCH BIGGER Kid line of oils than doTerra. SO far I'm impressed. That's how I found out Rosemary ( in Thieves) cannot be used on kids 10 and under. They make a roll on to fight germs that is diluted with safe oils for kids. I love it.

I'm a massage therapist who's been trained in using oils. (Reps are never trained properly IMO based off claims/usage tips ive seen. Plus there's an actual chart to measure out oils that we follow when using them topically) And I just want to put my input on these oils. Oils have great placebo effects (lavendar for relaxing, etc). However you can find better quality oils for a much lower price at your local health stores (Aura Cacia is a great band and very affordable. Also check out your locally owned mom and pop stores, some of those people distill their own oils and they're even better quality). 2, Coconut oil is not really a great carrier, while it has great benefits, its best left off the skin as it can clog your pores badly. Sweet almond oil is a great replacement for coconut oil, we often use that oil in massage! 3. Do not ingest your oils, this is very dangerous and unless you're under the care of a certified aromatherapist, you should never do this. Citrus oils especially because the amount of acid in a single drop is very high. 4. Oil reps should be held accountable for prescribing oils as a treatment. As a massage therapist im regulated by the health board, I cannot prescribe or diagnose or i will lose my license to practice. Why are YL/Doterra reps not held the the same standards. And lastly, Oils do not cure autism, ive seen this claim too many times, autism is a genetic defect, and we all know where genetics come from right? If you do not, please go back and take a basic anatomy class. Other than that like i said, they make a great placebo affect and are useful for things, but be careful who and what you're buying. As someone who's very Anti-MLM and sees them as predatory legal pyramid schemes, good on you for getting out of this before you ran yourself completely into debt. Also im glad you're aware of how certain oils interact with blood clots, pregnancy etc. Great video :)

My one and only experience with doTerra was when a teacher at my school wanted to talk to us about the benefits of essential oils. She didn't tell us she was affiliated with doTerra, she simply phrased it as the benefits of "all essential oils". Slowly and methodically the talk introduced doTerra, and pretty soon it was an all out sales pitch with sign up forms at the end. I walked out and reported the teacher to the school.

Let me explain : I'm french, and a naturopath (we don't work quite the same way as USA's naturopaths as I understand) and I used essential oils in my work and in my personal life. DoTerra is starting to "invade" the french market and people don't really know about them. We have a lot of small laboratories and business manufacturing and selling essential oils and I've never, I repeat NEVER came across a hundred bucks frankincense essential oils. this is from a guy called logan , who shared on another thread about doterra. I would like to provide some insight on the oilyhuns from the perspective of a former employee. I live about an hour north of DoTERRA's HQ here in Utah, and I used to work in their warehouse as a fairly generic "warehouse associate". To start off, this company doesn't give a (pardon my language) FUCK about the safety of their workers. I don't mean just simple OSHA violations, schedules changing last minute, so forth and so on. I mean these guys breed an absolute health hazard in my opinion. There's constant exposure to spills and other slick surfaces that can be hazardous to one's own safety, sure, but the real issue I have is with the "It's okay if you breathe this in all day, it's good for you!" mentality. Spills and leaks were relatively normal, as the packing material(s) used are relatively subpar, and often handled with the utmost negligence since "it's okay to spill a little here or there since this stuff's so cheap" (a fairly verbatim quote from one of my section supervisors. This was said to me after I accidentally dropped a crate of oils and had a fair amount leak). Breathing in essential oils on an assembly line is absolute hell for someone with asthma like me, and the stench of the shit being peddled to consumers is absolutely unholy, even in "recommended quantities" (i.e. sniffing it / applying it to yourself / whatever). A real issue I had was the "suck it up" or "get used to it" mantra in their warehouse. This stems from me getting nauseous and even PHYSICALLY sick from inhaling nothing but overpowering "healthy smelly sauces" for approx. 9 hours a day minus breaks, 5 days a week. I was told more than once that "if you're not feeling well try to quit vaping" (it was known that yes, I am someone who vaped and spent time out in the smoke pit on breaks, though I've never had an issue with my vape, and I only buy reputable juices that are as low in nicotine as you can readily buy). After my THIRD time of having to run off to the restroom while on shift in about a 4 working day span so I could "lose my lunch", I was blatantly told I had to quit smoking/vaping, and that it was "counteracting the benefits of the products we manage" I'm sorry but absolutely fucking not. The rank, overwhelming smell of the oils often caused me to feel dizzy, nauseous, tired, vaguely irritated at times (yes, really), and I'd go as far as to say that I often felt like I had been pepper sprayed after oils had been spilled or dropped (which, I have been in a CS gas chamber so yes, I know the sensation fairly well). I'd also like to add that I have anosmia, which is the general lack of a sense of smell, so when I say this shit is overpowering, I honestly feel bad for anyone who has a regular sense of smell because jesus christ, the eucalyptus, lemongrass oils, lavender, so forth and so on even in "recommended use-case scenarios" is simply unruly. I cannot recommend people stay far away from DoTERRA products enough, as I'm just one of dozens, if not HUNDREDS of complainants by now. DoTERRA has a MASSIVE turnaround rate in their warehouses since people often times experience the same sick feelings / etc as I did, and have to quit. God knows I couldn't have gotten outta there fast enough, and I was only there for 2 weeks before leaving. Some people on my team only made it a couple days before leaving due to migraines, nausea, physically being sick, etc.

The strep thing reminds me of something... When I was a little kid I suddenly got extremely ill. Deathly ill. We woke up the next morning and I had a rash and was horribly sick. Lethargic, and just...not okay. My mom obviously rushed me to the E.R. When we got there, the woman in triage immediately took me back. No waiting. I was admitted upon arrival, given oxygen, intravenous medications and fluids, and the doctor told my mom if she had waited just 2 hours to bring me in I’d be dead. He was certain of if. They did testing and confirmed it was group A streptococcus. I had scarlet fever. I was a sick kid. I was practically unconscious for a few days. There was so,e reason they didn’t want to give me an intramuscular injection which they originally wanted to, so I was put on a super strong dose of antibiotics. At this time my mom had a daycare. To make a long story short, when she called all the parents to say the center would be closed as she was in the hospital with me, one mom reacted a bit odd. A few minutes after hanging up with my mom she called back and informed my mom that her son has had strep for a while and she never gave him the antibiotics because “antibiotics are bad”. My mom was LIVID. She purposely made sure to try to hide this from my mom because she needed a babysitter and my mom didn’t allow sick kids to come in to daycare unless they’d been on antibiotics for 24 hours or had viral infections. If it was viral or they hadn’t been on antibiotics, they couldn’t come. She exposed everyone to strep. And to make matters worse she goes “I’ve been giving him elderberries, lemon oil, vitamin c, and honey every morning! And he drinks honey, garlic, and onion every night before bed! So I doubt it was him but I thought I should let you know”. She said how he’d still been feeling ill but her homemade “antibiotics” would’ve prevented him from being contagious. Basically what was happening is the toxins from the group A streptococcus was causing me to be extremely ill. I almost died. All because some moron mom didn’t trust her doctor or antibiotics and thought her natural crap was more effective.

I bet she doesn’t vaccinate either! I’m so tired of anti-vaxers/anti medicine parents. What happens when your child contracts an illness you could have prevented with a vaccine?! The BuCrew So glad to hear your kids are alright. Scarlett fever can be terrifying and the rash itself is super scary looking. I still can’t get over the fact that that woman let her son have strep throat for weeks and didn’t give him antibiotics. Apparently he’d get better for a few days, then get sick again, then get better, then get sick again. She genuinely thought that her natural crap was helping and that SOMEHOW it was good enough to make him not contagious. The worst thing is the thought that she’d sent him to school, to daycare, and around our community like that. She sent him to our daycare center where there were babies as young as 4 months old. When he was enrolled in daycare he was at least thankfully getting vaccinated as my mom and the state required proof of all immunizations. But he was mostly homeschooled after third grade, and would only go three days for one week every month, to a regular school. And I’m not sure if they require students to be immunized the same as they do full time students when they’re in a homeschool program and only do 3 days a week every month. HOPEFULLY so. Anyway, again, I’m so glad your lil ones are okay! If can be so scary! Especially when you don’t know what idiot parent is putting your kids at risk because of their poor and neglectful parenting choices.

In your closing statement you mentioned “an unpleasant experience with up line”, which resulted in you questioning everything?mmm, so, if the situation wouldn’t of arise you'd still be selling? see...this is my issue... i'd believe without a doubt, if your digging in the company resulted from findings of “the dangers” and how many of your clients were “unsatisfied” within the 1st year of your sells...but you made no mention of that!? although, any product has side effects, even aspirin, tylenol too. Come on to 5 years later!? I do not like sells, period. But if something is as frustrating as "stripping you of your personality" I would have left in month, heck! I would be doing my research before signing up! but, until close to 5ys? and over an up line disagreement? to be truthful this leaves me questioning your honesty, and the true motives of you leaving this MLM company. Sounds more of a grudge and payback.

@Jack wilder It's not a persona. They are for real. Sadly uncommon in our corporate culture. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eufHQXmUql0.html&ab_channel=doTERRAEssentialOils

Because when you join an mlm you're pretty much brainwashed into believing they have the best product, the best business structure, the best community... They all say "we're not like other mlm!" but they're all the same in the end. Especially with Doterra advocates, they use their sh*t on literally everything claiming is pure, natural and safe. If you read articles from aromatherapists that do not work for mlm companies they actually discourage people from overusing essential oils or ingesting them. They make health claims that are completely unproven. When you work with doTERRA you're upline convince you that those oils are miracle products that can do everything, they convince you that if you work enough you'll succeed. They feed you with toxic "positivity" that pushes you in persisting something even if it feels wrong because they told you not to listen to any "negativity". Sometimes they even push you to cut ties with people that are skeptical about what you're doing. They prey a lot on religious people (which are usually a bit more gullible than other people) telling them that this is a G-d given product, that is such a blessing and that you should be very grateful to have it in your life. MLMS are very cultish so it's not uncommon that someone realizes after a long time that it's not as great as they made you believe.

Commercial Cult Brainwashing. Cutting you off from family and loved ones who don't support you, false sense of community that drops you in a second if you go against them, mental manipulation tactics ... I am sure the list goes on and on and on.

Thank u for making this video. I was told by a mlm rep that doctors brain wash people and I should use young living essential oils to cure myself. I’m like wtf. I have an aromatherapy diploma in Canada and we learned about safety and essential oils for a year.
