I also think of quitting my job everyday coz I hate the environment and the work am doing but don’t have the courage to do so. Ur so brave in taking this decision.

I've been thinking of taking some time off as well, but do you worry of using up your savings than keeping them for retirement etc since it's good to save early in life and it's already hard to save enough for retirement?

I did and do still worry about this but I thought about this a lot (and saved a lot) and decided when I am older and look back at my life, I would prefer to have taken a year off to enjoy life rather than keep going when I truly just felt burnt out. And when you think about your whole life, one year off is truly not that significant when it comes to your overall wealth, but it can be significant for your well-being!
