In this video, I race a 50 kilometer ultramarathon on the pacific crest trail. I have never run a marathon...but now I have run an ultramarathon, so that's a fun stat. It was great to do some trail running and practice my intra-race nutrition strategy. Also, this was incredible. I want to run 31 miles every day of my life now. I cannot describe how wonderful this experience was...the beautiful trail and views, the wonderful friends, the witty banter, the ability to push through physical exertion and mental fatigue, the free burritos at the finish....it was all perfect, and I am so grateful for the experience!
