Good Evening from NH. Nice looking bucks. We have mostly does here. Once in a while we see a buck. Would love to put out feeders but don’t dare to. The bears would tear them apart. We can’t even leave out our bird feeders at night. They are gone in the morning. Glad to see you are adjusting to being home. I am jealous. Soon… Stay safe and always be kind Have a day.

Cool, this is getting exciting seeing the pex about to go in. Mike, I started walking and doing "dietary adjustments" about 4 months ago. It's been a slow slog, but I've lost about 15 lbs., and feel much better. Small indulgence yesterday though.......we made a short trip to a DQ. :) Oh yeah, we've seen the Dot's pretzels at Wallys, and just yesterday at our local small grocery. Neither of us are big on pretzels, but it was interesting seeing 'em so close to home. Everyone, Have a Day!

Glad to see some real progress on the inside of the building. Anxious to watch ya'll lay down the insulation and install those heater lines! It won't be long now before you'll have a concrete floor in that place and can then start some installation of the wood walls. Now that is gonna be purty!

We feed the deer also but more so for the does. Feeding there fawns take a lot out of them and they need that extra boost in order to raise some healthy young ones. We also use "Lucky Buck" minerals which both the bucks and does really like. You won't see much extra antler growth the first year but in following years one can tell the difference. We do also feed all year long going through apx. 5 1/2 tons a year. Enjoy your videos so keep them coming.

1" @ 2880 sqft, 8.9 yards of stone , 2565lbs/yard = 22829 lbs = 11.4 tons. so, yes, you are correct. It's strange to think that 1" of stone across that area adds up to that much.

Loose stone weighs less than compacted stone so to be more accurate, why not put a shrinkage factor in the equation? If you are estimating a big job this can come back and bite you. For stone I use a shrinkage factor of 10% for purposes of estimating.

Not sure what you use to edit your videos But I've been a Premiere guy for a very long time. Messed around with the final cut for a while but went back to Premiere. I figure I would give Blackmagic Davinci Resolve working on the latest episode... I'm impressed. It's similar to Premiere but just works a lot faster. I just did my edit with a keyboard to try it out but Blackmagic also has its own editing keyboard. I decided to order one and give it a shot. It might be worth looking into I bet you could have this kind of video editing in a half-hour or less with the speed editor.

@@mikesr3407 It's all about work flow and finding what works. From what I can tell it looks like pretty straightforward editing. A couple little changes can make things go a lot quicker. I produce a channel called Nana's Cookery. We typically do a 2-3 Multi Cam shoot all in 4k. My old work flow would take me about and hour to 2 to make an episode. Swtiching programs and adding a control surface is going to cut that in half at least.

Time is something hard to come by for sure. I too started on my health situation starting last year. I started weight watchers and am now down 83 pounds in 15 months. I also recently started walking again on a regular basis. I'd like to work out but a busy schedule just gets in the way. But I do walk 2 to 3 miles while on my lunch break at work. I'm walking 5 days a week right now. I got off of cholesterol medication and am currently taking half of my normal blood pressure medication. Mike if I could make a suggestion that might save you some grief in the future. Maybe you could run a piece of conduit from where your electrical enters the building to an interior wall to run any cable required for future tech stuff that you don't currently have. I’d be careful filming a feeder by your tree stand in Pa. The feeder police aka dcnr tend to frown on that and it’s at least six months before you can hunt on a spot where a bait pile was. A guy I work with was fined for hunting to close to a bait pile and it was on the adjoining property. No warnings given in our lovely state. I work in a body shop and we did a dcnr vehicle one time and his ticket book was still in it. There was a ticket for a guy unloading his snowmobile in the parking lot without wearing a helmet.

Concur with this discussion. I think of both aerobic fitness and aerobic capacity, but I don’t know if the experts would say it that way. When I biked more, I used one ride a week as longer and not as vigorous, say 30-40 miles at maybe 15-16 mph. One ride was hilly - 23-25 miles with 1200-1300’ of ascent, some of it the quarter-mile, 100-120’ steep stuff, and average speed wasn’t a serious concern on this ride. The third ride was a 20-mile hammerfest in pace line, as fast as we could go. When fit, that one was over 20 mph. This arrangement got me fitter and faster both. Depending on Mike’s initial fitness, walking pace, and HR, he could be building both. Soon, though, he’ll need to add the vigorous phase to continue to build fitness. His womenfolk will keep him advised!

Hi Mike, we had pea size hail, high winds then rain yesterday here in Hickory NC. I can't remember the last time I saw hail. The deer will be glad the feeder is operating again, hope to see bigger herds on your property, as long as the passing bears don't scare them away. When I worked i averaged 5 hours bedtime. The first night of retirement, i unplugged both alarm clocks, put them in a junk drawer. I'm a free man now, i go to bed when i want to and get up when i wake up. I schedule my drs appointments after 12. I love it. Also let my beard and hair grow to make that statement, I'm a free man under no others rule. Haven't had hair since early 20s. Didn't know the insulation was that thick or styrofoam, learned that today. Hope you get your help, that is a huge space to prep. Very short but great video, I never get enough of ODWTM! Diet is they way Keto it really works. If you eat no bread or pasta or sugar you will lose weight like crazy no lie. I have so far lost 35 pounds in the last six months. Actually it might be more like 8 months? I started last year. Exercise tones your muscles and builds them But muscle is heavy. but diet is the only way to lose weight. when I go eat pizza I eat giant salad and dont even worry about the dressing and just eat the topping off the pizza and feed the dough to my hens they love it. It works for me. Cabbage soup is the best thing a guy can eat. I put all the vegetable's love Brussel sprouts its a super food. But i gotta have my sausage and shrimp. I usually drink water but I love diet dr pepper when I eat out. Gator aid cause cancer it has free radicals dont drink it. They dont want you to know that either. Top secret drink a gulp of apple cider vinegar it will help keep you on the acid side. You can only burn fat if your on the acidic side. it works I know it. But it can eat the enamel off your teeth so ad a strong shot to your bottled water.

That much PEX makes my skin crawl. I had to replace all the ancient copper plumbing in my house and decided to go with PEX. Don't get me wrong, it's a great product. But 90% of my installation time was fighting the coils. Swore if I ever used it again it would be straight lengths.

Mike, I can't wait to see you on Melissa's rower in your intro. The funny thing is that when I saw her on the rower, I thought to myself, "Mike will never post a video of himself on that rower." Now I'm thinking he just might. :-)

Great looking heating system Mike. I hope your sponsored by a local wood boiler dealer. You can heat the building, pool, walkways to clear snow and you get new slab customers or firewood. Consider cutting firewood rounds in the woods, let kids earn $$ by the tote filled. They haul it, split it, stack it. Your return on time is best served milling and running the equipment. ¹

This is exciting, I know that I have never seen radiant floor heat installed so I am anxious to see how this goes. There are plenty of channels that deal with construction techniques but I haven't seen these product being used before, so film away and keep the good work.

Expected high today in Phoenix, 117. Forget what rain looks like:( I have to remind myself that exercise and diet are investments in myself and hopefully equate to longer and better quality of life with family and friends. Hard to enjoy the finer things in life if I feel like crap or I'm dead:)

Hi Mike.that 1,inch of stone that you are putting down will save you about 10 yards of concrete. So it makes for a wise. Decision on your end. At stone is cheaper than concrete

Good morning Mike. I've been retired 17 years and like me you will wonder how did you ever do so much when you had a full time job. As for as not having enough time to do something, I believe a person will have enough time to do what they want to do.
