its probably worth considering you can cut the price significantly by crafting the moonshine and water yourself only buying water filters and sugar which puts it down to about 130k to craft

I’ve only recently got back into tarkov. I’ve been watching a lot on RU-vid for about a month and in case you didn’t know, your hitting the algorithm like crazy. At least as far as my recommendations go so keep it up brother.

Love how you put the table with all the runs, my only gripe is just needing a bigger sample. But an excellent way to introduce ppl to the options, bc i know ppl that refuse to build it bc it seems like a waste of money. I gotta get me altyns for roubles and maybe 1 day a keycard 😅

A lot of items you get from the scav case can't be sold on the flea and when you compare buy prices from traders, you actually save money if you just use the guns and helmets (like the mutant). Plus the small chance to get marked room keys and keycards makes it all more worth it.

Scav case is like christmas with distant family... the presents are all right but you could've been happier with the cash value, but its the "thought" that counts.

i always have the best luck with the 15k option. the payout isnt always the highest but it almost always creates a greater return

Comtac4 are expensive because they give the best hearing radius (since this wipe, headsets modify your hearing distance)

comtac 4s have the longest hearing distance out of all the helmets, hence theyre so insanely expensive.

I craft my own but in-between I'll buy a moonshine and make it up during my next scav. I've gotten ledx returns this wipe which has paid it off

I will forever gamble just like I always have. No reason not to when I'm at 50mil. The chance to pull colored keycards is worth losing like 50-100k a try anyway.

wipe before last I bought 2 full scav junkboxes of intel at 90k each early wipe, got two 11SR cards and one conference key. That was it for anything notable.

I used one moonshine for my first scav junk box and got a dorms marked key

The scav case is NOT meant to be profitable. Otherwise you would just sit in your hideout 24/7 and run it back to back. The scav case is meant to reward you with rare items, such as very rare guns (mk18, mutant, rsass, g28), rare keys, keycards, high tier utility items (fast MT faceshield, comtac 4, 'premium' helmets) and good level 4/5 armor or rigs Edit: also certain quest items (hello kappa grinders)

I am just gonna jump in and say that for me the best value out of the scav case are the random rare, but not too expensive items that you require for some of the harder quests, i was able to do colleagues part 3 this wipe and complete samples just because i got my ahfms and other stims out of the case which would normally take way longer to get. Also I'm a gambling addict i guess lol

pulled a ledx like 3 hours before this video came out lmao. also got my tank battery for prapors task a couple weeks ago, along with a second one a few days after lol

The Moonshine has been the best for me, ran intelligence about 15 runs and lost money every time and switched to Moonshine for the past 20 runs and have made money on every one except one and have been getting lots of lvl 6 armour

At 6 scav rep I now turn around 95k in less than an hour. it is always worth it. Moonshine and docs for fun

Personally, I run the moonshine specifically for quest items and if it makes profit then its a nice bonus. Early wipe, trying to get a military battery in raid for the quest is a PAIN. I ran the moonshine scav probably 6 times before I got a military battery, and then 2 of the 3 runs after it I got 3 more batteries. This wipe, the 95,000 rouble run seems weaker than previous wipes so I have been doing intel scav hoping to get a clutch key. Intel is great for keys/weapons (RSASS for gunsmith).

Every hour and a half you get = to a free Marked room unlock without risk, or a free Airdrop without risk, On Top of the ones you grab on your PMC or Scav. Thinking of it as at cost, that’s a great deal! Crafting the super water and turning that into moonshine and turning it into Scav box loot rolls is a great deal. This wipe I bought one Therapist Big Thicc case, and then every moonshine has gone to the scavs. I’ve gotten tens of millions of great guns, keys, gear, etc… Me: Worth.

95k is the best, ive gotten cards, red rebels, etc from that one, few wipes ago i got a greencard from the 80 or 85k whatever it was

You should keep posting the data from ~10 runs but then you should go back and introduce a bigger sample size in a different set of videos after you go through all the options. I think the quality has been improving with each video, and even if the sample size is small it's still very helpful in showing what each category gets. keep it up man 👍🏽

profit for actual sales no. but for instance i would use the mutant so that would be a gun i didnt spend 140k to get at the trader. alot of shit in the scavcase is usuable and stuff only traders buy is often twice the amount to buy from a trader then what you get so that would make scav case somewhat worth. then everything you get is FIR so it can be used for tasks. great video and i would like to see the intel one next. and then again 10 runs is not that much for actual statistics so like 50 or 100 would be better but that would also take like 150 to 300hours depending on your fence rep. and now i also heard you talking about this in the video. maybe i should watch till the end before commenting xd

Moonshine was pretty good last wipe. Just got mine going and have run 5 or so moonshine. Lost money most of the runs. Hard to say bc i think ur scav rating deterimines loot as well

The 4s add literally 50 meters to your hearing range so for people who care about that it can be worth but 150k is wild

I have been doing moonshines for 3 days and ALL of them did give me like 150k at least profit fr, Its just luck ig. By the other side, intel has been shitting on my mouth all the wipe, 95k its usually worth and last wipe gave me a ledx and chek 15 and stuff like that

Slickems what is you’re scav rank, no clue if it true but the higher the rank the better the loot. (1.50 and I get profit most of the time)

The issue with this video is that the sample size is not large enough, a lot of the items you’ll get are going to always bring a loss but every once in a while you’ll get a case worth 1m+, but with a small sample size that data gets excluded.

For your profit and loss you should Colour code it. easier to understand at least for me. But then again the end results what were here for lol...

Moonshine was never profitable in 1st place. It was used for kappa items. This wipe moonshines prices are all overe the roof its at 260k .

Its definitely worth it if you're crafting your own moonshine. Hoard all the sugar, alyonka and water filters from the start of wipe. Ive got 3 tank batteries, multiple S tier guns, helmets, level 5 armour, the juice! Sure some are a complete disappointment, but overall I'd say I'm up a few million ruubs

I only sell moonshine on the High around 280 so its clearly not worth it for me. From anectodes I built it but its a scam lol

I mainly just run the 95k unless I die with in an intel in my butt then I’ll use that instead of selling, a lot of the time it’s not worth it tbh lol

Great video! i love this series so far! The only suggestion i think i would make is if you could show us what stuff you got on each run from the case BEFORE you show us the price. That way, it gives the lil loot goblin in me time to try n guesstimate how much i think you've made from each run lol.

All in all scav case should be used for the sake of getting something you are really having a hard time getting. Not expecting that gambling is going to make you money.

I just clipped it the other night, I got a pistol case from 15 000 scav case

10 times is an extremely low sample size... I'd suggest 100-250 minimum, which yes I know it is a lot, but it would also be a way better hook for tarkov viewers and bring in a broader audience.

I used 10 moonshine and lost 420k more or less. I wont be using inteligence either, lost about 780k in 10 inteligence cases. In the 2500 it's always a win, but it so little proffit its basically useless. I'm doing 95k now and lost 210k in 9 runs, so far. for me, Scav cases are trash this wipe.

Hey, I know this vid is a little old at this point but if you're reading comments on it still, here's a few things that could improve the vid as you asked for constructive criticism. I have 100k+ on my channel so I'm not some random ass just insulting your content. Firstly, recorded gameplay for each of the openings with the spreadsheet overlayed in editing would be much more engaging to look at than just the spreadsheet numbers. It would take a bit of extra time but it's just start recording, open, and stop recording in OBS, and it would make the video a lot more engaging. Second, try to avoid clear errors like the flea market fee not being there. Either be more diligent on the original recording or a simple fix is just do an 11th one and completely cut the mistaken one from the video. Looks much more professional and doesn't take that much extra time to do. Also, dunno how familiar you are with editing and what program you use but some pop-ins overlayed on the video like for example The moonshine item just pops in as you're talking about it. Or even just screenshot the items you got and have it slide in for each case opening. Again, a lot more effort and I'm sure you're not doing RU-vid full time like some of the big Tarkov creators but the extra efforts makes your videos hold up to theirs in quality so people flock to your channel a lot more. Anyway, hope this helps man! You have great ideas for vids and with some polish they could be a staple of tarkov YT, I'm sure! :) EDIT: As some other people mentioned, more sample size is ofc better but as a creator myself I know that doing 50-100 samples as some people suggested is extremely time consuming for 1 video.
