I feel like frosts new office is hilariously too long, to the point that no one would notice if Andrew slowly edited the background to make frosts office longer and longer every new video
All right all right. Just so you don't have to throw your disagreement into the sea of comments. Hate me here. Bash me here. Make me feel pain for putting your precious favorite animal too low
Andrew, seeing the music choices is giving me new life. I can go make my own chill music playlists now, love this! Also I've been waiting on this tier list, so happy right now.
For my comment I'll drop a fun little strat. Black cat's scaling works with the can and is able to help accelerate a late game pivot, however if you want to do this make sure you do it with a plan. Late game pivots are always very risky due to that nature of scaling.
I’ve ignored the can for so long that I just automatically tune it out now. It never even crossed my mind that the cat could potentially do that. You’d still have to get super lucky with rolls but I’m definitely going to consider it sometime.
Watching the entire video with full attention: Nah, bro. Watching the video, getting distracted by doing something in the background, noticing you haven't been listening for the last 5 minutes and rewind to actually pay attention, just to repeat the same process again: :^ )
Hey Frost! A friend of mine recommended I check out Slay the spire, and I checked RU-vid for some content to learn the game, and I just found your content the other day! I binge watched these hour+ tier list videos for a game I hadn’t even played yet, and the moved onto this tier list video and now I’m super into both games due to your videos man 💜 (more so than my friend who even recommended them originally)
Watching this after half of the animals got reworked/nerfed/buffed is weird lmao Especially since I didn't play the game then and therefore had no idea about a lot of these abilities lol
I've won with a ladybug, I just fed the foods to itself so it helped me win early then I got a rabbit and then a worm started feeding that got a catapiller and then just threw in a bison. The nice thing about the ladybug is you invested in it early you pivot from it and feed another pet it's still helping you win, I think you need to run a food build the whole game almost
Have a really bad habit of selling my level 3 right after buying bison since "I don't need them anymore... oh wait". My favorite game I've played so far I ended up freezing 3 bison in the shop and said fuck it. Ended up rolling 2 more bison and a chocolate and can confirm, level 3 bison buffs himself. Got a 10 win out of that and a big smile. Love the SAP content dude!.
I did that just a moment ago. Pilled my level 3 ant with a bison on the board. The worst part is the ant buff hit the bison. So now I awkwardly have a like 16/12 bison, which I can't afford to sell cause it's too much stat, but it's also not scaling or doing anything useful for my build.
it's super "magical christmas land", but putting a tiger behind a t3 36/36 leopard is absolutely hilarious. i got it to work once and it was so funny to see all that damage fly out.
the thing I like about SAP is that it's quite fun just playing whatever animals you like and trying to make it work. You will win less, but it's still fun.
A banger like always. BUT, i'd really love (and i know that its a huge hassle) if there was a description about the itens. I dont know if SAP already has a wiki or something
ATM i think the big problem with the game is limiting things to 50/50. Rooster just becomes a tactical nuke when they just get 2-3 extra units and i cant make my scaling board scale any higher. Having a llama hit 50/50 is some feels bad, its now textless.
I think it's a mistake to think of the sheep like a 6/6, even "pseudo" 6/6. It's very different. A 2/6 ties with the sheep, but gets wrecked by a 6/6. On the flip side. a 6/2 gets wrecked by the sheep, but ties a 6/6. So, sheep is good against high attack / low health, but gets wrecked by high health units.
Dude... Even without roosters or crabs, dodo is still viable. Imagine a high attack penguin/monkey/cat while waiting for the crab and rooster. I usually run if I don't need it and feed it because it can make shitty utility units take out ace pets. If I have a penguin or monkey to scale my main unit or have an auto-scaling main unit like puppy or bison, then I can afford to spend gold on the dodo without sacrificing a lot of scaling. I will admit, I felt I was creative when I figured out the potential of dodo after the update dropped, then it did feel like a cheat code when it started to define the meta and I lose honor points for running them (but fuck it, I want my 10 wins)
I'm imagining a high attack penguin/monkey/cat and it sucks It gets devoured by a hippo or sniped or splashed or just bowled over by anything big You're using two team slots and god knows how much gold for essentially a bad honey badger
The best elephant build I had was Dolphin/Tiger/Blowfish/Snake/Elephant. Just mass sniping because Elephant, Snake and Blowfish were all level 2. I ended up winning without even realizing I was on my 10th win.
51:13 Yeah I disagree with the placement. After using Lobster it's absolutely top of D or C tier. It says summon, just like the dog. This means when you buy any pet, it gives it +2 +2 outside of combat. It is absolutely a buy and dump several rounds later pet and sucks in a lot of regards but it has it's uses. Definitely a case of not using lobster and seeing it's actually pretty good. Easily one of the most slept on. Dromedary is B tier. Freeze a good pet and the stats keep stacking. You lose a shop spot but if you are in a good spot with your build then you can get constant buffs for your shop pets. Definitely underrated. Also one reason that I think people don't run certain pets is because of them being useful in specific situations or hard to fit into general builds. Why go for a hard/risky pet when you can go for an easy fit pet like a Dodo, monkey, etc.
How DARE you have an opinion mr streamer!! I'll have you know I have played 5 hours of this game and done really well with the units you called bad!! I didn't even use any of the good units so you're WRONG!!
